I was able to do it with heat tape for pressure also it takes longer than five mins and for me I had to hold in area till it you can see on the other side
When it comes to dyesub, the pressure applied is just as important as the heat. If there's no pressure, it's not going to transfer. Good beginner learning video though!
ive seen others it worked but they did it longer. more like 10 minutes for tumblers and mugs take longer anyway. you really dont need pressure. its just wrapped for the ovens

Definitely try with the shrink wrap or even the silicone wraps with clip to try for getting that pressure!
Great tips!

Hi Phalisha! Thank you for sharing. We might give it a try again! - Agata
Do you need a special printer to print the design for cup?
Sublimation or you could use your cricut with adhesive vinyl

Thank you for watching and we appreciate the tip! I'm sure it will help our viewers!
I've sublimated on them with a heat gun when mine broke down and had to get a new mug press
Thanks, just saved me time and money.
Happy to help Lorraine!

I will give it a try! Thank you Valerie!
I was so excited for this. I literally just bought a heat gun!! LMAO only to find out it didn't work...
Oh no!!! 🥲
😅
I think the heat gun needs more time to reach the temperature.
Use the shrink wrap?
Great suggestion!
Think I saw a video where someone used shrink wrap and it worked ????
Thanks for the tip!
Can the mug be any kind ? Like if I go to the thrift store and just pick out some. Or are there certain kinds I have to choose
Hi Anjelica! We recommend using sublimation mugs as they have a special coating!
Great try. You did your best, it just didn't work this time. I really appreciate you sharing this though!!

Can you sublimate in a conventional oven?
You can!

Thanks
You've lowered the temperature with the parchment paper.
Such a cute design. I never would’ve thought of trying a heat gun lol. An air fryer?!
You definitely can in an air fryer!
@@DesignBundles I've been trying to decide on the best thing to invest in for noncricut mugpress compatible drinkware!
You didn't mention the type of mug you used?
Hi Jenn! I believe it's the Cricut Ceramic Mug that is available in 15 oz or 12 oz 😊
@@DesignBundles thank you!
I've seen other creators who have been able to make this work.
Bummer! Nice design, heat gun died on you; that's what I dislike about🔋battery🔋operated power🔋tools! Good try Crystal 🔮
Thanks for watching Joy!
