I always take a drive down grove street and just imagine what could have happened to the hood over time but at least we get a hint at what happened to cj in hood safari, cj and his family moved out probably became ceos, living in suburbs or made a high life for themselves which to me sounds good, it was either die in the hood or go live free 💪

What basically happened is Sweet probably died or retired (mostly got killed) leaving leadership to CJ and CJ 100% left it since he isn't into gang life if you listen to the dialogue in the game he 100% became a CEO
My theory that CJ leave the GSF since he had other responsibility of running a Business in San Fiero and Las Venturas and he's also a Manager to Madd Dogg. Kendl became an Accountants for CJ Business and Property in both SF & LS. Cesar was put in charge of their Garage and Car Dealership in San Fiero. Knowing Sweet, he decided to leave the hood after many GSF OG's join CJ and end became Millionaires. Afterward, the Ballas took over their Neighborhood without firing a Single Shot

Talking about GTA5 while playing San Andreas footage and music is wild lol. GTA5 could never hope to be as iconic and legendary as San Andreas, it was 100% Rockstar's peak until RDR2 came out. Parts of its mechanics inspired both Bully and RDR2.
True there are atill many many things in San Andreas Gta V didn’t live up to.

I actually agree with this. Sweet had a die-hard mentality that would put homies’ lives at stake. Everyone has a breaking point. CJ decided to disappear and leave Grove Street as well as many others that were part of the gang. Seeet stayed and eventually, when the Ballas decided it was finally open, they rolled in and finished what they couldn’t do 21 years ago.
I think the Ballas finally killed Sweet and took over Grove Street. Adding insult to injury, they destroyed CJ, Kendel, and Sweet's old house and destroying their memory.
Cj realized that shit wasnt worth keeping because they were getting older, and the world is so much bigger than that hood.
Cj and Sweet are still alive later on in the game Cj would become successful he owned a garage in San fierro he become a high trusted member of the triads he broke into area 69 and stole a 15 million dollar project and become a manager for madd Dogg he’s out there being successful and sweet joined Cj knowing grove street was failing

Due to recent evidence of an HD Universe San Andreas occuring in GTA 5 I actually agree with your reasoning. CJ had a lot of other responsibilities in San Fierro and Las Venturas, and potentially Madd Dogg's manager. So I'd imagine CJ was a partime gangster and the Ballas likely took advantage and potentially killed the HD Universe Sweet and weakened Grove Street severally.

And I never said the 3d era maps of Northern San Andreas and Las Venturas were canon. Just events from San Andreas and a HD CJ(whatever he's actually named in the HD Universe) exist. Not one to one with the San Andreas storyline in the 3D Universe.

@SupportGaming2023 my boy they just like to make Easter eggs and references to their prior work that helped them turn the franchise into the powerhouse it is. But they've said time an time again the universes aren't connected, and how only characters who didn't really appear physically got to cross "timelines" into 5 to be on the radio.
The CJ we loved playing as in GTA SA doesn't exist now. They even admitted they separated the time lines cause they got tired of people saying shit like "Is Tommy vercetti gonna be the main character of 6!?" Or people thinking Franklin and CJ are related (outside of the game since they are in real life.) But they're going with the multiple time lines and all we can do is accept it my G...

I'm pretty sure the only casualty is Sweet. Being the only one bind to the street, it's likely the Ballas successfully assassinated him and used Grove street to save their gang. As for Ceaser and Kendal, they either moved in with CJ (if his business venture is canon) or they stayed in the Vario Los Aztecas and stayed out of the GtaV conflict.

They should have made an online thing. Where you can align with one of the gangs and rise up in ranks to where you can have npc’s on the streets an they won’t shoot at you but if some one comes through aligned with a rival gang they’ll start bustin. And maybe just like SA you can get the npc to follow you.

@@LScentral San Andreas is part of the 3D universe, 4 and 5 of the HD universe, 4 served as sort of an reboot to the series, even Rockstar are saying this, it's just that they share similar elements, like Grove Street existing in both universes, but with differences. How do you explain the very big changes in the map? Where are San Fierro and Las Venturas? Or Liberty City in 4 looking completely different from the GTA 3 and LCS one?
Sorry but they really are not connected. If CJ and the others exist in the HD universe they are different and the events played out differently than in SA. Its some "different Marvel universes" kind of situation, similar, but not the same.

The differences between the universes are minimal at most, in GTA Online there’s a mission with Franklin where you’re burning a weed farm. Franklin makes a comment referencing the GTA San Andreas mission where you do the same thing. Anything that happened in the 3D universe happened in the HD universe.
I would like to point out though, that OG Loc does exist in the HD Universe. There are various direct references to him in the Online's story, and there's even a record label called "Loc Records" in-game.
3d universe and hd universe. They're pretty much the same game, but different lore. Though GTA5 could be a future from SA, but highly unlikely. None of the SA characters are ever mentioned in 5.
