We lost this character mainly because Rockstar didn't want to properly pay the voice actor Young Maylay or replace him. That's the true story of Carl Johnson.
Young May-lay got paid what he agreed on and wanted more after once the game took off its not Rockstars fault it’s his.

Wow, i never got to finish GTA:SA because my PS2 stopped working and my parents wouldnt let me touch it or get it fixed. im glad i got to get a story of what happened then, i remember i reached to the part where we race in the woods. i sucked so hard at it when i was 8 but damn i still had a lot of story to go through. glad i now know the ending, thanks for showing it to me, my childhood with GTA:SA the best ive ever played is finally closed.

CJ decided to run his legitimate business empire and maybe focus on controlling San Andreas and expand it beyond the state. It makes sense that maybe Sweet stayed despite how he wanted CJ to stay in the grove. But sweet soon realizes that maybe he’s been holding CJs life back and how he pushed guilt into his head that he exiled himself from ls to liberty to get away from the gang life. And only came back because of moms. CJ says that he’s more businessman than grove street. And he already proved that he’s beyond hood. And should realize that he needs to leave the nest empty not dependent. Sweet maybe does make Ganton Grove street look gentrifying. While Davis Grove street families does seem to take over Davis. But it’s not long before the Ballas took over Davis grove street and made it their stronghold turf. And sweet accepts the fact he isn’t going to change the mindset of the families for pushing his anti drug ideals. Instead sweet is ousted from the families and decides that he must keep Ganton clean and away of gang presence and allow families sets to any other district or cities to establish their gang presence, anywhere but Ganton and orange grove street. It felts legitimate but deep down sweet feels empty and betrayed. His leadership of the families all for not

Actually, the universe of Gta 5 and Gta SA does not take place in the same continuity. So, we don't know what happened to CJ and the GSF homies after the events of San Andreas. They said that they will go to a World Tour. They will travel around the world. Go on a vacation. And CJ went outside to hit the hoods. Man, the ending of SA feels like a movie. Rockstar does amazing jobs at making a movie like ending in their games.
That's why I love the OLD Rockstar games. I love Gta San Andreas. The game can never be topped. It is just my opinion.

Nah, on top of everything he had Toreno on his side and the agency he worked for knows CJ is very capable and isn't going to snitch on them or expose government secrets as long as they don't give him a reason. He did some wild stuff and got rid of their enemies and for that with Toreno having his back, the government probably made sure he's protected and know his face might be on some desk of people who would want to interrogate him and end him. So the government wouldn't just keep his back, because of what he did for them, but also to protect themselves from him and those who wanna get him to get them.

What really urked me about sweet was he was always talking down on cj but what did he ever do for the gang be side be a pawn
I see a point from both sides:
- With CJ, he's eyes were opened with many possibilities the moment he left Los Santos. Plenty as well, as he's now the owner of a chop shop, a shareholder of a Triad casino, owner of a $60 million dollar jetpack, and Madd Dogg's manager.
- With Sweet, he's always known the Grove to be his home. Not to mention that while CJ's been doing work, Sweet was stuck in jail for who knows how long. And the fact that CJ mentions he left the Grove has him bringing back some bad memories from when CJ left for Liberty City after Brian's death.

The KGB or the FIB killed Carl.CJ was deep in the deep end when he got involved with Toreno. If you go search for the beta dialogue for the mission vertical bird, CJ has some very interesting lines.

I thought that Ryder should not have been a traitor. I know that he wasn’t meant to be a traitor and the writers changed things after the VA for Ryder quit due to a dispute with Rockstar games. Heck, give him a noble death where he throws himself in front of CJ and saves his life.

@@LScentral if it’s false why didn’t rider ever get mentioned when he was so called “being a traitor” with big smoke. CJ only saw an said big smokes name never riders. Plus after riders death he was only mention once over some bull because they even had Cesar say “ he tried to sleep with you sister” so CJ wouldn’t feel bad that was the only time he was ever mentioned. And also when you kill rider you can hear his voice it ain’t regular they didn’t have money to pay mc ehit to finish at least those last words.

1. Another RUclipsr had also asked the same question and came to the conclusion that both sides were partially correct. Ryder would've eventually betrayed the Grove, but not as early as the game depicts. Maybe somewhere in the middle to late game stages.
2. Audio files in the game (the cut ones) had a lot of unused T-Bone voicelines, even a few which he berates someone for being a snake or stabbing him in the back. Considering that Ryder sounds wounded before he swam for the boat, it's possible that the original concept had swapped T-Bone and Ryder's places, where you killed Ryder first then chased and killed T-Bone.

The gang war between Grove Street Families and Varrios Los Aztecas allowed both Los Santos Vagos and the Ballas retune to power with help from Officer Frank Tenpenny ‘s son who a high -ranking police officer and his his childhood friends who are high -ranking police officers as well.
Big Bear and other high-ranking member of the Grove Street Families are killed in the gang war against Varrios Los Aztecas
OG Loc and B Dup are living San Fierro (not together) and have started a crime syndicate producing Drugs
Sean "Sweet" Johnson or Carl "CJ" Johnson son made clandestine deals with Officer Frank Tenpenny ‘s son, the Ballas, Los Santos Vagos and Varrios Los Aztecas to end Grove Street Families so he can rule Los Santos.
We find out that Zero is friends with Officer Frank Tenpenny ‘s son and is holding a grudge against Carl "CJ" Johnson after being punches in the face
