    You may want to use agave if you want the drink to remain anti-inflammatory as sugar causes inflammation.

    I love this juice we eat tamarind in Mexico it’s called agua de tamarindo (tamarind water) you can make any fruit drinks/refreshments Jamaica means hibiscus and the country in Spanish I love that it mean a flower what a beautiful name I love you channel ❤️

    I would never add sugar to it, because of the inflammation, instead use erythritol, no insulin spike, no cavities, great taste

    After you soak the tamarind you can put it in the blender and give it a few quick 'pulses' then strain. You get a nice thick puree which you can batch, freeze and store. Just thaw and add water when you're ready to make your drink. Some people add a little baking soda. You can research that.

    I just bought some today at Walmart and it is concentrated in a bottle looks like thick juice and it makes a gallon I used 1/4 of it to make a quart and it was really easy and really good

      What brand ? I can get the pods but expensive. I hear the paste is bitter while the pods sold in the produce section are generally much sweeter. (I guess it depends on how ripe? Dunno I'm new to this.)
      Anyway tamarind is fucking delicious. Don't know if I'll cook chicken or anything with it since it reminds me of candy , but as far as a snack or drink goes I like it. Love the stuff. Might add it to watermelon juice.

    I like the way she started it but the fleash of the seed I put that in the blender and add it to the drink with ginger or cloves no sugar to my natural drink

    Hey guys please feel free to use whatever sweeter you prefer. I personally do not have a problem with using sugar. Please respect my choice.
    I'm here to show you how I make Tamarind juice remember this juice can be made in different ways.
    This channel is not for one type of plant base eaters hence you will see the use of sugar, flour butter and rice. Feel free to view the juice play list which as a variety of juices. Stay bless

      ​@@saurabhpanhalevlogs5534 You're welcome ,you can either freeze the fruit after you've removed from the shell. or you could juice it then freeze the juice with or without preservatives. but since you want it for commercial purpose id suggest you stock up on the fruit package in small amount then use accordingly . thank you for liking my channel.

      It usually can last along time. My mom would keep it in the freezer also .and take it out defrost it when we are ready to drink it again.

      Are you in Jamaica if yes check shoppers fair, mega mart super plus or Chinese supermarket I have some as we speak. Or amazon. Bear in mind the extract compliments pastries not sure about using in drinks.

      Some tamarind is sweet, some are sour tamarind. look at the type your buying.

    The sugar defeated the benefits of it. Sugar stays in the body longer ans it causes imflamatory.

    It's an anti-inflammatory drink but then you add sugar to it which brings the inflammation back.

      Jaggery you have to be careful with this indian sweetn er, diabetics need to stay away from this sweet jaggery.This is why so many indian people have diabetes now.

      I don't have arthritis, thank God. I use white pure sugar cane, i don't use artificial sweetners, diet drinks zero drinks, equal, splenda. All those things cause cancer. Aspartame is the worst in sugar you could in your
      mouth. Most of the time i use dates, organic monk fruit, agave nectar sap. Aspartame goes by different names.
