    the Royal Enfield Bullet is a nostalgic bike. my uncle would ride with me in the front while i was probably around 6-7 yrs old and he would let me hold the handles while on a straight road. Those twin lights above the headlight are just something that that i can only relate to the bullet. My uncle is no more and i remember him when i see this bike. i would def buy this one day!

    @fuelarjun Год назад +32

    Would like to point out - it's not just about the nostalgia factor; there really is nothing that rides the way a Bullet does, not even the Classic. It's something about the seat and handlebar combination that makes the posture just about right and gives you balance akin to a bicycle, but with a motor. You gotta own, ride and live with one to know what I'm talking about, it might not even register on a first ride - cheers from Chennai 😊

      This! I've realised the new age reviewers rarely understand or appreciate what that feel of a 350 is.. I've owned a bullet that'd sometimes break down and all the other hassles, but the memories with that one far exceeds the subsequent refined motocycles I've owned. Now I'm going back to the roots!

    Royal Enfield seem to be making top class bikes for those who want no nonsense bikes. Economical, simple, and fun. Never ridden one. But am appreciating the style. 350cc and 107 mpg is amazing and a 300 mile range - that is superb.

    I think for my money this is the one to get, it just looks so old school stylish. If you are going to have a lower power bike, might as well have that authentic old school look. I have not ridden any RE’s as they are not imported here, but at Christmas we are going on holiday and I may be able to rent either a Hunter or an Interceptor 650.

    • @fiucik1
      @fiucik1 Год назад +1

      Exactly, I don't really get the point of having 350 with 20hp... It's basically the bigger and heavier but just as slow as 125cc, and where I'm from you only need a B license to ride 125, so...

    • @Tequilasaur
      @Tequilasaur 7 месяцев назад

      @@fiucik1 I used to have Yamaha SR400, and now got Bullet 350. And could say, Yamaha was too small and light for me, it feels like there's not enough motorcycle. Meanwhile, Bullet is pleasantly heavy, and looks serious enough with it's duplex frame. Yeah, it's for people who don't care about speed, just love to ride slowly

    You are talking absolute Tommy Rot about the performance of this Bike,
    I can tell you,
    As a Motorcyclist with 50 years experience,
    I currently own a Royal Enfield Interceptor and Hunter,
    The Hunter (with the same J series engine), is capable of easily cruising at 65 MPH
    With a top speed of over 70 mph,
    And well capable of over taking vehicles 50/60mph
    More than enough for UK roads,
    Except for motorways,
    Not everyone is interested in horse power or looking out for speed traps?
    Some people have learned the true enjoyment of riding a Motorcycle ✌️👍
    Cheers Paul Foster

    • @elemental9039
      @elemental9039 Год назад +4

      The primary reason is continuation of the “Bullet” badge, which has kept RE profitable for more than 6 decades after it closed shop in the UK, and enjoys tremendous sentimental value in its domestic market of India. They’ll always ensure the nameplate stays relevant, even though this bike could very well be sold as a variant of the Classic 350. Personally I feel the Bullet is more authentic to its heritage than the Classic. Cheers!

      It rides very different to the classic. The seat position is more to the rear compared to the classic, the bullet is better if you are a bit taller. The classic is a bit cramped for me. Also, I like the rear fender shape more of the bullet.

    Ridden the Classic. It would be a great commuter, every day runner. It's reasonably ok performance-wise in town or even tight country lanes. Might get a bit worrying on dual-carriageways and motorways though owing to lack of outright power.
    Comfy bike to ride however and everything works; decent brakes, strightforward controls, reassuring handling and decently grippy tyres. If I was living and working in an urban setting, I would definitely consider one of the J series 350's as a 'ride to work' bike, easy home maintenance and good fuel economy. And on a price-point comparable with a Japanese 125.
    Might need an Interceptor for the weekends though! Love and peace.
