this movie is so underrated! I'm surprised with the rise of the cottage and witchy aesthetics that it hasn't become more well known. The set designs and costumes are unmatched, I always wanted to join Gump's gang of elves in the snowy wood.
the best of music in the World...
That song is is absolutely amazing and beautiful. It suits well with the 1985 movie Legend, along with the unicorns, Gump, the fairies, the little people, Brown Tom, Princess Lily, and Jack. And the strength of the song powered them to fight the forces of evil created by Blix, the goblins and their master, Darkness. I love it, it was not only epic, but magnificent. Fairy tales do come true, I believe.
I love this movie and song
This song and this movie goes sooooo well together.
Tim Curry is always a great villain.
Finally! This is the only place to find the true original version of this song. Other media outlets have Mummers Dance but it’s completely different sounding. This is the original that I remember hearing in the late 90s. Strange that on Spotify on Loreena Mckennet's album its also that other version but i specifically remember owning her CD and it was this version here that was on it. Anyway, Thank you so much as I searched everywhere and this video is the only place on the internet you'll find the original best version of this song. You should post it on the video title that you play the original version.
It's not the original. It's the DNA single remix created for radio airplay. Spotify currently has it available to stream on the "A Mummers' Dance Through Ireland" album.
Pshh whatever Miss Knowitall. Haha jk. Well to everyone who was a teen in the 90s this is the original version because this was the version played on the radio and on MTV. Also, I bought the CD single of this song back then and this was the version that was on it.
The horses beiing beautyfull
Me too its pure in all aspects...
When in the springtime of the year
When the trees are crowned with leaves
When the ash and oak, and the birch and yew
Are dressed in ribbons fair
When owls call the breathless moon
In the blue veil of the night
The shadows of the trees appear
Amidst the lantern light
We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
Now returning back again
We bring a garland gay
Who will go down to those shady groves
And summon the shadows there
And tie a ribbon on those sheltering arms
In the springtime of the year
The songs of birds seem to fill the wood
That when the fiddler plays
All their voices can be heard
Long past their woodland days
We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
Now returning back again
We bring a garland gay
And so they linked their hands and danced
Round in circles and in rows
And so the journey of the night descends
When all the shades are gone
A garland gay we bring you here
And at your door we stand
It is a sprout well budded out
The work of Our Lord's hand"
We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
Now returning back again
We bring a garland gay
We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
Now returning back again
We bring a garland gay
What is the name of the movie?
Legend
Legend directed by Ridley Scott, very good underrated movie
loreena McKinitt . . .. can it get any better?
