A long handled 2 inch slash cut is great for above kitchen units.
Does the long handle give that bit more reach.
I use Purdy, Arroworthy classic oval and wooster brushes. I use the 15 mm sash brushes as well
I will try the arrowworthy I think at some point.
Quite fond of the pro dec ice fusion brushes, though their 3" I did find to be a bit soft and floppy.
Thankyou for your input, I might have a look at them.
Soft and floppy is never good.
Tried pretty much every brand of brushes but i now use Monarch mainly , excellent range of brushes , Staalmeester make superb sash brushes and if you do still use oil at times like me then Corona are King in pure bristle.
I have never heard of the steel Meester. I will look them up.
Hi pal
Still use bristle perfections in acrylic\ oil undercoat to work em in for oil gloss which is still used on new work ,
Hamilton perfection 3 inch synthetic for filling in basic cutting in and Picasso 3 inch slant cut for ceiling lines and intricate work
Loads of alternatives but these work for me
That all that matters bud, do what works for you.
Hamilton Perfection max stroke for me. Awesome for emulsion and waterbased woodwork paint 😊
I will have a look around them.
Another great video, fella👍🏻. The more information shared the better for all of us decorators😊
It definitely is my friend. Thanks for watching.
@Inexteriors I've treat myself to a pack of those hamilton you have in this video. Although I still prefer the max stroke in emulsion. I have to admit. This set you use, is better in the woodwork paint 👍🏻
It's what works for you buddy.
Hi stephen ive been using brushes from home bargains speir and jackson even good for throwaway brushes
Great stuff, I bet they was OK.
@@Inexteriors yes they were OK for a cheap brush
Oldfields are good 👍
Thankyou very much, I will look them up.
Oldfield pro series oval straight cut, best brush you can get in IMO 👍
Cheers bud, I will look them up.
I can’t get on with Purdy brushes at all. I never get a good enough finish with them for some reason. Hamilton Prestige suit me much better but the top dog in my view is the Arroworthy Classic range. A couple of quid more per brush but they pay for themselves with me.
I will take a look at the arrow worthy classic range.
@@Inexteriors I find them lovely on trim (especially the sash brushes) but too good for bashing on walls and ceilings. I’d love to know how you find them. Keep up with the vids- I watch them all and I enjoy seeing how you do stuff even though I’ve been painting all day myself 😀👍🏻
Novice DIYer here but I've just undercoated 6 doors with an arroworthy classic 2.5 inch. Good results. Got the box of 3 off Amazon for about £26
Thankyou for watching.
They are a popular brush it seems.
All my brushes are purdy or hamilton
Great stuff, they are good brushes.
@Inexteriors dulux dec centres often have deals on over stocked brushes, look out past your local one and sometimes you get a bargain
Im on with the paint warrior ones , good video matie
Thankyou, Are they the Arrowworthy ones
