yeah, like this night when i couldn't sleep so i decided to open polytopia and look at my games. wanted to ask about one of them, but i accidentaly ended my turn while wanting to go to menu 🤦♂️
Third one hit hard. To be honest, I actually don't play much games with people because losing feels so painful. Most non-live games take days to finish and losing one you've spent a lot of your time and energy on is a bad feeling. On top of that, there might be a bit of salt when an opponent uses a more powerful tribe against you or them getting a much better spawn. I hope I can get rid of this mentality and be able to play the game for fun even after losing. Thanks for the great vid!
Back in the day I'd buy a four pack of plain bread rolls before school, and as I was eating them one at a time, I'd play Polytopia with my friends on the bus. As a result, Polytopia always reminds me of the taste of cheap 4 pack bread rolls.
the part about "lack of motivation" was really funny; game is already too much addicting and if anyone feels like not playing it any more then good for them hahah
The Gully video was funny and painful. These are really go tips. I often don't play multiplayer out of fear of doing bad even though bots are too easy and get boring
I ❤ that you point out that teaching is a great way to learn. It is, in fact, THE way to mastery! This is a time-honored tradition in nearly all cultures - think of the apprentice-artisan-master system, for example.
I totally agree! Teaching is one of the best ways to learn Every time I make one of these videos, I learn more about Polytopia. It forces me to figure it out properly so I can explain it to someone else
6:23 i absolutely agree. for example, my favourite special tribe (and favourite for continents and archi) is polaris, for lakes i like kickoo the most, for tiny drylands it's hoodrick, on bigger drylands zebasi and yadakk, ai-mo for normal+ lakes/continents and oumaji is my favourite free tribe. yeah, not exactly the meta, but very fun tribes, especially yadakk, polaris and also ai-mo are very fun and unique imo (aand i dislike luxidoor and bardur for no reason)
I need an undo button so bad. I keep going to move a troop, then I change my mind and try to spawn a new troop on a city, but I don’t deselect the troop I was going to move, so it goes on the and blocks it. I do this multiple times per game. Also, I keep attacking in the wrong order. I’ll use knights before catapults, forget to move catapults, use a near catapult to attack a near enemy instead of a far one, so my near catapult can’t reach the remaining enemy etc. Entirely my bad, but just something to be mindful of if you’re also new ig.
1st tip I agree What about live games? 2nd tip doesnt work there. But if its not live game i take hours. 3rd I agree with this but im more afraid of tiny maps. ITS ALWAYS A CYMANTI. I play against myself with pass & play as my practice. 4th. I always go random tribe except if I'm try harding, 900 continents glory, and Archipelago/water world 5th My motivation is to be better, to have fun and destroy my opponents. 6th any one wanna mentor me? I'm in the polychamp and polytopia discord if any one is interested.
Good point about live games. You can't take your time with those. For Live Games, I recommend thinking about your turn, on your opponent's turn. Don't wait until it's your turn to figure out your moves. Plan ahead as much as possible.
Also don't be always sleep deprived like me if you want to get better at polytopia because you need a fully functioning brain to play the game
yeah, like this night when i couldn't sleep so i decided to open polytopia and look at my games. wanted to ask about one of them, but i accidentaly ended my turn while wanting to go to menu 🤦♂️
Good point. Lack of sleep affects judgement. Getting enough rest helps your brain function better
Hard to get sleep with polysaur nightmares

Yeah, these are common. You are not the only one who hates losing. In Polytopia and in life, sometimes you have to take a risk for things to pay off

Interesting memory. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, for some folks, the can't put Polytopia down
instructions unclear: i have now conquered the square in just 2 moves
Two moves is pretty fast
Thank you Espark, I just joined PolyChampions, I hope it will help me to improve ❤
That's great! We are glad to have you
Let's go a guide that isn't just "here's how to improve at eco"
Hello justeeni
One day, I will make an Oumaji strategy guide. Then I will need all your tips on how to win without economy
I love omaji, want to collaborate? @@polychampions

Yeah, GullYY's video is great, sad and real.
Don't be afraid. It's just a game :)
Great advice! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 🙏 Glad you liked it!

Unfortunately I'm already to good and if I got better it would be unfair for everyone else :((((
Thank you for your sacrifices
Hello pugs
a pugs classic
😂 same here
We'll make a guide "How to play shit" so you can learn that and then come back to "Play better" to improve again @ilikepugs3552 @mysticcre8tor773 😂
Well, when i download the game, i also dont know how to play. And now im kinda good at this game now.
That's great to hear. You know what they say about practice...
6:03 THATS MEEEE
Nice
@@polychampions I over reacted a bit hehe. Thanks for the tips tho
I actually feel kinda inspired to join the server now. Never saw the point before but now it sounds fun.
Wonderful. We hope to see you there :)
Should I play while high
Great way to spend all your stars on spiritualism ;)
Anyone find themselves locked in a stalemate match where the game goes on for a whole hour even if it's a 1v1
Stalemates are interesting and exhausting. Its about endurance and waiting for the other player to make a mistake
Yooo, it's Espark from Onicracy Cymanti :o
Good vid, keep it up!
Hey, thanks!
Shout out to all my Onicracy tribe :)
Amazing Video! Thanks for the advice🙏
Thanks. Glad you got something from it
Thanks Espark, without these videos I wouldn't have found polychamps
That's great to hear :) The whole point of this YT is outreach to get more folks playing Polytopia in our community

Polaris is so fun to play. Trying different tribes can spice things up and get you out of your comfort zone

Also I keep winning g games really slowly without buying farms and I feel like like I’m doing something wrong
Also there’s a 50/50 chance of me thinking the aquatism is after archery
I've seen other players ask for an "undo" button. Midjiwan has said he doesn't want that. He wants people to use critical thinking
Most games you don't need farms. You need just enough economy to pay for your army
hah
How to use the matchmaking feature on discord?
Good questions. Watch the tutorial video ruclips.net/video/_KsDd0LT54M/видео.htmlsi=MGthYqWX4TOaaljn
The problem with online play is that matching is difficult due to the time difference lol
Yes. Most multiplayer games you end up playing with someone one the other side of the planet
I love all outside information
Thanks
