Thanks for the cast Ferrikster! This game was a lot of fun to play, even though we slipped up a couple times. No idea why i missed the lv3, thats sloppy from me. The capture before taking forestry at 5:48 was a misclick from Krack, we obviously didnt intend to do it like that. Side note, i do *not* like being called mindy. If you wanna be friends, you're better off just using mindfaze or mfz. Don't be like Ferrikster, he sets a bad example.
Honestly I still prefer having either someone interviewing a player of one of the teams or banter between two hosts since the question and answer/discussion type format is more interesting to watch. But you did a decent job solo casting. As a solo caster, I think you should put more of your own opinion on what a team should have done in their position since you are one of the best players on the league.
While obviously those videos are higher quality, they demand a lot more time to make than videos like these. It's just a quick shoutcast, not a deep analysis. Formatting videos like this allows a lot more to be published, especially if we want to ramp up coverage of league games in the future. Also, in my setup i have shit audio so its near impossible for me to do an interview like that. and no one else in the game is really interested in the youtube i think.
Thanks for the feedback. Having someone interview and include banter is more time consuming. This was easier to produce. The biggest limitation for this channel is finding the time to edit/record. We will do a mix of content going forward
Lightning guys had geographical advantage at the start. This allowed them to overhwelm Luxidoor and do knight chain. But they still did a very good job especially with giant trolling.
I was expecting Bardur to die early vs hood+yaddak just like luxidor died vs veng+quetz 1vs2; so very surprised Bardur survived this long and came with the winning Knight chain; maybe it was strategic mistake by yaddak not to gang on bardur with hood; also it looked like quetz had the best map pos, biggest area to expand to and he used it well to end up strongest tribe so even without knight chain quetz team would likely win even if bardur was more/totally dead - because yaddak couldnt outexpand quetz toward south-west direction
WE NEED A POST GAME ANALYSIS Bardur managing to stay alive despite the hoodrick pressure. Quetzali being the mvp of the match (in my opinion) What the losing team could have done better.
I really don't understand how teams work... Does the game finish when the other tribes resign? How do you build the team? What if the other players do not resign/do you have to kill your own teammates to win?
PolyChampions is a competitive league with ten teams. Players from each team form up and play. Once all the players on one side are defeated, it is considered victory. This game probably took weeks or months to play, a single turn sometimes takes half a day cause you usually wait for all three players to comment on the plans, but there could be live 3v3s too, it's just difficult to plan in live games

Why are people still playing objectively worse tribes, like hoodrick or quetzali for example? And why is no one playing cymanti when they are so strong right now?
either this specific tourney doesn't allow special tribes and you can only pick one tribe other than picking 2 same tribes, or they just willingly played them.

I haven't seen that knight chain coming, holy hell!
Thanks for casting, that was very entertaining =)
Right? Great knight chain. Glad you enjoyed the cast of the game
Very fun and fast paced 3v3. Nice to see a lot of unique tribe choices as well.
Yup. Great game
really enjoying these 2v2 and 3v3 coverages!

Yeah. That knight chain was impressive
Luxidoor wasn't the lucky one, especially with the spawn(
Yup. Bad spawns are a thing in Polytopia

League games take place on 24hr settings and are played across multiple months. Not really doable to feature that live.
There are a couple twitch streamers for Polytopia. I recommend Arvis. He is a pro PolyChamps player. twitch.tv/arvis03

Yeah. I also think its strange the Ferrikster calls the cities "bases." Everyone else call them villages and cities.
