Great review! Can’t wait for mine to arrive. Love the end ‘are you making a video’ - I insist that becomes your stock start or end footage going forward!!
hahaha It’s tempting. Though girl child might get jealous if I use boy child’s clip every time. I’m looking forward to your take on this set. Have you read any High Republic yet? Still time while you wait for delivery. I’ve only read the first book so far. It was REALLY good for the first half. Second half I barely remember because it introduced so many characters all at once and I had no visual reference for any of them. Planning to binge them once the visual companion reference book comes out.
@@Fanporium they need to do a combo effort! It’s just too good not to use! I’ve not read any yet - I have a little stash that I have had ready to read and just keep not getting to it. Going to have to give it a go before mine arrives though! I’ve not heard great things about the series which has kept putting me off getting g started
I'm aware that the 3rd party versions of this hilt also have removable side blades and the quillions fold up to cover the blade socket. I don't have this hilt, I only watched a few reviews of it. The pictures on book covers depict the side blades as electric arcs similar to what you see in the orbs that you put your hand on. Either Legacy or 3rd party hilts have relatively thick side blades to represent them, but you probably don't want a live electrical arc. That can be dangerous.
@@ark7204 Don't get me wrong, the programmable sabers are their own variety of fun. Sir James has a great review of a TXQ version of Stellan's saber that has all the usual n-pixel goodies. It's just not something a licensed saber is ever likely to have, since they have different target markets. (And costs over twice as much.)

Awesome review! Stellan Gios is indeed my favorite character.😊 My Limited Edition lightsaber is arriving tomorrow. I really can't wait for this!
I'm so excited for you! If I was this impressed with it having no connection to Stellan at all, I suspect you're going to love it!
I just wish you could change the color of the blade with a program or by using the galaxys edge kyber crystals

Stupid laws of physics and consumer safety laws... lol
The price could have been reasonable if they add a color change feature like how they did on Cal's.
Does his saber change color in the books? It wouldn’t make a lot of sense for a licensed version to change color if it doesn’t in the source material.
@@Fanporium *Sigh .. I guess you're right.
