Mam i always hated cooking chickpeas in my home and i found not cooking capsicum so weird and i did the same recipe as you mentioned and the crunch of the capsicum took the recipe to next level thank you so much
It's very yummy. I usually do the similar thing and while serving I add lots of lemon juice and sprinkle rock salt. Lemon juice gives a nice aroma and enhance the taste will the rock salt enhance the taste and helps in digestion better

I have started to like your videos as you explain them in a suttle way. If you could help me with how to boil Brown/white chickpea to a smooth/mushy texture, i will be glad. i have tried to boil both kinds of chickpeas for long, still they remain bit hard.. kindly help...
+Ubair Hamdani here is the trick, soak the chickpeas overnight or atleast 8 hours and then put in pressure cooker with enough water to cover the chickpea ideally water should be 1 inch above the chickpeas. pressure cook for 1 whistle and then put the flame on low for 15 mins, open once the pressure has reduced by itself.... and soft chickpea is ready. you can cool it down and store in fridge. BTW if there is water you can boil and reduce or use the chickpea water for your gravy. hope this helps and thanks for being here :)

Just 1 cup of chickpeas contains 270 calories. Here, it mentions 2 cups which would be 540 calories approximately plus other ingredients. It would end up being around 700+ calories just for one meal. This isn't going to help lose weight. You can eat just one of those lettuce wraps to lose weight.
