Here's a vague breakdown to give you a bit of context behind this songs lyrics and the album it's from - Apex(2017). This is a concept album telling a story track by track about an Immortal being. This is the opening song on the album. It is sung from the Immortals perspective(not all the tracks are), about being awoken in his mountain hollow from a 1000 year sleep. As a covenant of birth, the immortal must do the bidding of whoever awakens him. As the tracks progress, you find out that The Matriarch(which is played by the male vocalist in this song Awakening) was the one to awaken him. She wants him to find her four sons, so she can kill them and perform a blood ritual to gain immortality for herself(pretty dark haha), and his journey to find them. Each son has their own song about them on the album. The closing song Apex, is about the immortal going back to sleep in his mountain and it is a phenomenally written song. I'd suggest watching Cleanse The Bloodlines next Their new album that came out in August, is a continuation of this story, and the immortal has awoken on a spaceship confused as hell wondering where tf his mountain is lol from the single Abyss. I won't go into the rest of the album lol

Try Unleash the Archers, Northwest Passage, Tonight We Rose. Saw you’ve done a couple of Nightwish, Huge Nightwish fan, but you mentioned genre of metal. Try Saboton( the drummer is Floor Jansen husband). Nightwish is Symphonic Metal, Saboton I would classify as Heavy History Metal. Their music is base on mostly military sacrifices, heroic battles of the common man thru history. I’m 66 year old metal head/damn good music fan. Their live shows are epic but their videos are extremely well done. Check on Bismarck, Price of a Mile, Attack of The Dead Men, Metal Machines for a start. It’s no wonder he’s considered by many great guitarist one of the top three or four that ever lived. His music is so much different than a lot of people. He died too young. If you could play that I sure would appreciate it. His videos get a lot of reactions for a reason. Unbelievable.
UtA have a number of really great songs, mostly speed metal (Abyss, Soulbound) but also folk metal (North west passage) and Rock Ballad (Legacy) As great as Britney's voice is, I think her greatest skill is the ability to annunciate while belting, which honestly very few singers appear to be able to replicate.
Hi Office Blokes, if you get a chance check out Brittney Slayes ( the lead singer ) do a Queen Of The Stone Age track on karaoke after they finished a gig in Edinburgh to see how powerful she is, and on just normal night club mic and sound system, I feel sorry for the person who went on after her lol even if you don’t react to it, you should watch
The sound of the video is funky. I think you exported/imported it in mono. The vocals and drums are much louder than in the original video and guitars except for lead guitar are MUCH less present (because they're panned L/R, obviously) . If this is how you listened to it then you should do it again in stereo.
