As someone who has anxiety and a mood disorder, I feel for Bergman. That horrible bout of anxiety and depression is a feeling I've known all too well. It worsened after I lost my mom to suicide in 2019. It breaks my heart wondering what her last thoughts were. How she felt when she passed. It made me sick when Butch tried to joke with Tara saying that it's her fault. No one should ever talk like that especially since she was close with Mary. I can't imagine how hurt she felt but tried to play it off in front of him. It makes me even angrier that he claimed his religion can "cure" mental illness. I was lucky enough to go on vacation one year in the mid 2000s to the Nick Hotel, it was honestly a lot of fun. I was probably 11-12 at the time and definitely remember spending a lot of time at the larger of the two water parks.
I remember when Cartoon Network first aired on tv! I was 4!! My grandma just got cable tv, and was like " wanna watch a brand new channel just for cartoons?" I ecstatically said "YES GRANDMA"- from that moment on, my life changed forever. Eventually watching the channel would lead me to watching Anime; sitting up late at night, I would wait through all the other shows just for Toonami and eventually they made adult swim. CARTOON network was the first place I ever seen Sailormoon, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in The Shell, Stripperella, Aeon Flux and many other great Anime. If I couldn't find anything on any other channel, Cartoon Network is my go to. Even if it's some crappy cartoon, I'll settle for it. I'm an 80s baby turned 90s kid into an adult millenial. I wouldn't change my experience for the world.
