The all-digital MMI touch response system provides intuitive operation. The extensive connectivity and assistance solutions demonstrate networked intelligence. The interior systematically adopts digitalization and is groundbreaking in its segment. The suspension combines smooth ride comfort and high stability with enhanced sportiness. All engines have a mild-hybrid system as standard equipment for convenience and efficiency.
All engines in the new A6 come with Audi’s new mild-hybrid technology. Here a belt alternator starter (BAS) works together with a lithium-ion battery. The Audi A6 can coast between 55 and 160 km/h (34.2 and 99.4 mph).

I work in the car industry and there's just something about the A6 that just gets me all crazy. I've driven the 2018 A6 a few times what a beauty. Can't wait to drive this one :)

This model doesn't need to compete with Mercedes or bmw. Just look at it and if you are smart enough you already know the answer just by looking at it. The way the video is made is just absolutely perfect because you do not need words to describe this car. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful car ever made by humans, this is the perfect sedan. Congratulations to Audi Team. You guys are literally advancing through technology, like you already admit.

Absolutely LOVE how it started with the Fox(100)! As a kid I was always fascinated by this model and remember the introduction of the first 5000 as well as the 4000, which I loved. Bet most of today’s Audi fanboys and girls wouldn’t know ANY of the earlier models if they parked on top of them! Audi has indeed come a very long way and are absolutely beautiful machines.
I love my 2017 Passat - so much of what is in my car is being added to the A6 with some updates and refinements.
The styling and look of audis are unbeatable

great video, it really highlighted the features of the car and how it is ready for the E-Class and 5 Series, that voice command showcase, and detailing the exterior curves and sexy edges really stand out from the rest of the competition. And one can also tell that from the +5mins of silent narration explaining the differentiating features. Great job, i'm getting one tomorrow

A qualitative improvement of the service center is necessary.
Audi ; garbage cars. Avoid any Audi with a turbo and automatic transmission. If you can get halogen headlights you'll be happy.

John Mounir Like you said, they're "fan boys". Can't appreciate a good, new car and have to rush to defend brands they can't even buy from. MB owner here but this car looks gorgeous, just like the new A7 and A8 I saw at the autoshow.

Negru Mat guess their trying to be more efficient. Real Dual exhaust would take away the business and comfort and classy aspect of it. Would be more loud than comforting.

Travis Baugh well if you have a fake exhaust that is on this audi, you should not even have anything that looks like a exhaust, you either show the real exhaust or not
Car designers discovered the (fake) exhaust as a design element a few yars ago.

Veritas Justice I’d say you are in the majority, it’s a real backwards step. Totally underwhelming design and did nothing for me. Checked it out last week in flesh. Decent exterior of a bit fishy in the mouth, interior felt cheap and touch screens, horrid.
+Veritas, no, give me old-style analogue dials any day.
Did you see how slow interface was with dragging the icons? its laggy, icons are already out-dated and really touch screens are a mistake in cars!

Unlike new A8, this new A6 looks very good.
Black exterior with okapi brown interior is a killer. The car is so elegant and perfect looking...couldn't find a flaw in the design

I really love Audi but why the fuck have they removed almost every hardware button/ control dial? I think its very impractical and dangerous if you always have to take a look on a display to switch something (temperature, loudness etc.) For me this is more a regression than a progress :-(
BlaBlaBlaaa The voice command system has taken on a lot of the capabilities that you're talking about so that you don't have to look at the screen.
Yeah for sure it makes more sense to negotiate desired temperature with computer for 20 seconds versus turning the round knob counterclockwise
I guess it's going to have this more advanced Haptic feedback on the Touchscreen... Still not as intuitive as a analog dial/button though I give you that

I don't know why some people try to compare Audi's to the 2018 Fugly Accord. I see absolutely NO RESEMBLANCE whatsoever.. Audi looks clean and fresh. The exterior is simply timeless.

I LOVE my A6...I'm liking this new one, although I'm not sure if I like that rear chrome strip. I used to have 5 series, switched to A6 for the better looking exterior, more comfortable/minimal interior, and the feel/experience-the sound of my supercharger n feel of the Quattro...I fell in love with Audi...and I get looks n comments in my Audi I never got in my 5.

Do you still have to pull the engine to change the O2 sensor?
I once had a car with the touch screen to use for about a week and the touchscreen (just like the A6) really frustrated me. It was so dangerous having to do anything on the panel while driving. I guess with a voice command feature like the one on the A6, it might minimise the danger and risk factor but altogether i prefer it the old school way
Very nice! They saved their design, while MB lost it whith his korean-style design. I have A4 2013 year and I thought that I won't buy A6, cause they are almost similar. But this A6 is awesome.

Supreme Etnel Yes. I had no problems for 4.5 years of ownership. Fuel economy and dynamics are good for a car for 170 horsepower. I live in Russia with our low quality petrol and -20 -30 celsius winter.
Denis A yeah maybe because of the less horepower. In the US 170hp is a cheap economy car. We also think Germans have horrible reliability so we lease.

i mean that for car that will cost more than 70k $ fake exhast is a stupid idea... For me it's ugly, and i have no idea what car designers were thinking while drawing it.
at least exhaust note is real unlike in bmw and Mercedes with the synthesized noise piped in. If bmw and Merc audio fuse blows you'll hear leaf blower sounds. Except for AMG merc. That merc is the real deal.
