Amazing how quickly you guys can zero in on a bang bang combo. That shows the expertise and professionalism coming out of TXG! You guys continue to BE the needle of golf content on YT!
One of the best if not THE BEST golf channel on RUclips!! We need to get you hard working fellas more subscribers. I can’t say enough how much your videos help, educate, and entertain me. Thank you for all your hard work, and keep the content coming!!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Never disappointed watching a TXG video, should come with an automatic like button. Matts golf swing has evolved incredibly through the channel and great to watch as always. Would really like to see you guys head to head on the golf course once you’ve stopped tinkering with the bag set ups😂😂 enjoy the new hybrid.
Even if taylormade don’t sell the gapr anymore, i would love to see some testing on them lo, mid and hi. I want to understand why it has not been popular. I have gapr lo 3 and 4, 1/2 inch shorter proforce v2 8f5 and i hit them a mile. Great off the tee and the turf and it also have a lot of forgiveness on misshits. Depending on the course, i remove the 3 from the bag and swap shafts and put back the 4 iron from my set, it gives me a lot of options since it’s adjustable. I had the first generation of taylormade udi and felt that was losing a lot of distance on misshits compared to the gapr. All the reviews we saw on it were made by low handicappers that preffered the shape of the udi p790. I would love to see some testing and have your thoughts about it. I think it could be a good fit for Matt. By the way i can’t hit a hybrid and the gapr is my go to club. By the way, i’m an amateur club builder (i build my own clubs in my garage) and i love your videos. Keep up the good work. Thanks! Michel from Montreal 👍
A slight difference in the filming there. 👍👍 But just one question Ian, at the end of the day does your head feel it might explode with that amount of knowledge and information that's in there. 🤯🤯🤯 Keep up the great content.
This channel has taught me more about the game of golf than any other channel. It is easily the most influential channel in terms of equipment on all of RUclips! Great jobs guy! Keep up the solid work.
Absolutely love the open conversation with you blokes, it helps ask the clarifying questions between me and my guy. Love the in depth gear and tech talk!
Very enjoyable process/video. It was interesting to see Matt go through the extremes. As he is so talented, he tries his best to make the situation work. Thankfully Ian's expertise shines through in producing the best product combinations so that Matt may swing naturally and achieve the desired results. Thanks Gentlemen.
I recently watched a video from 2018 of Matt working with Larry on his swing. Can't believe how much he has improved. I can see why the equipment needs to keep being adjusted.
One more great video, would love to have a center like TXG in Denmark, to go and have a fitting like the ones you give. Keep up the great work guys 👍🏻⛳️
Great vid! Would love more of your insight on effect of lie angle from taking a 19* and lofting up or taking a 21* and lofting down. Like yesterday, the "roaming camera" gives us a sense of being there with you in the shop. That's awesome!
Thanks Guys for the Video! It sound like if you want to take your Golf game to the next level is get each Club tune to your Swing. And go find a Swing Master to help.
I wrote to you as a concerned subscriber months ago about you hybrid. Thank you for making the change. We believe in you to much to watch you hit bad hybrids
Love this video. I have an old Ben Hogan hybrid, from the days before Callaway bought the company. It still delivers! But it shoots more like a bullet. It is time to put it in the car-carry bag and find a new one with a wee more stopping power. Interesting to see the tweek with head and shorter shaft.
Good stuff. Looks like a solid setup. Seems like the Mizuno CLK is real solid. The close ups of either ball or foot position is good stuff. I agree with someone talking about the cut in close ups as they help to highlight talking points.
In the video (~9:30 mark), you briefly identify that Matt hits a 19 adjusted higher and a 22 set lower. You don't, however, elaborate on what the actual difference is. Can you explain the differences in feel or performance? Perhaps this is another video--what it's like to hit a 15 tuned to 17 versus hitting a 19 tuned to 17.
Added mizuno hi fli 4-5 recently. Working well on hilly courses shorter shaft. Looking CLK 3 hybrid for distance. Found one with tensi reg red. Hope fills gap when carrying cobra 3 wood.
#txgyourgonnaloveit Matty they’ll ring you at TXG reception, someday though we need to be told how you managed to get your wedding gift registry at TXG. TXG has to be the Valhalla of Golf has to be. 👍
Today marks the day that the GolfTown guys at my local YEG store officially told me to go to YYZ to get fitted by TXG if all I can say is “Well Ian and Matt said.......”. Amazing work you’re doing! Not only is it entertaining, but your videos are generating smarter consumers that genuinely want to progress in the game. Keep up the good work!
Love my GOST X shaft. Playing it in the SIM Max hybrid. Got my dispersion really tight compared to the Hzrduz and Tensei Pro White. Also gained about 5 yards of carry but took the left side out for me.
Mizuno CLK - love it! I have the JPX900 - 3 with 19° which is quite similar and I love it - Mizuno really stepped up their game in the hybrid category! :)
Great video. Below driver, my next club is a 3H at 19 degrees.... I’m about the same as you; sometimes it’s great, sometimes not so much. Debating whether I should look into a 3w and keep my 3H, or a 5W at 19 and see if that’s any better for me
Fitting and getting proper set up so important. Never realized that until I started taking my game more seriously. Videos like these ones make me not accept poor performance if I have one club that I cant get along with, I am immediately at the fitter getting my swing and club assessed and just more open to changes.
How do you guys feel about driving irons in steels shafts? I got fit into a u500 2 iron with an x100 cut down 0.75". Its still on order so I haven't gotten it on the course yet but I feel like I've never seen anyone play a driving iron in a steel shaft and now I'm worried. Thanks boys, great vid!
DAMMMM!!!! That's my Driver distance 265🏌️♂️⛳ Big Cat MATT!! It's not the name of the club it's the feel of the club that fit your swing speed!! Like the New side shot!! up close Camera angles🎬🎥 New HD! VIDEO CAMERA📷📹📸
Hey guys... Could you please go into more detail on the difference from going up 1 degree on 19 hybrid vs going down 2 degrees from 22 hybrid and why that was Matt's best choice? I think many would be interested because we could use that information when looking at adjustable drivers as well. Thanks !!!
very intrigued about shorter length hybrids, actually am testing the sub70 hybrid and its only .25 in shorter than my current gamer (mizuno clk 2017). definitely feels as if i have more control with the shorter hybrid but cant tell anything else other than that w/o access to a monitor. great video boys
Best club in my bag! Except matt hits his about 70 yards more then mine! Would LOVE to see and video front/back/side view highspeed SloMotion video of Matt bot swing with Driver and Iron and hear his story about how he gained speed and accuracy!
I'm getting fit for a driver next Tuesday with a Trackman at the range. I was wondering if you could do the Driver fitting with a range ball video before then? Cheers on all the great work. I love all your videos.
Every video I become more and more amazed at how far Matt can hit a ball..but then I see a hybrid go 270 and then another strike back down at 210 and it just reassures me how much clubs can affect the distance 😂😂 Matt still hits BOMBS though!
Im certainly in a love hate relationship with my hybrid since changing my irons dont seem ti get on with it as well. Play cb 80s in g410 hybrid and s300 amt +1/2 inch in irons. Could it be sw?
Donkeykong0303 agreed bro. I had thrown it out they should do a on course vid with the recent shootout winners just for fun. As much as I appreciate the studio stuff, I really Dig the on course stuff.
How important is it too add back the weight in the head on the last CLK? (19 degree, half inch off) Seems Matt was swinging it quite well even at the lighter swingweight
great vid.....and timely! I'm messing around with my 3i & 4i right now trying to settle on what i want in those spots! Currently: Titleist 21° TS3 Hybrid A4(20°), with 40.5" Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 95 X Shaft Titleist 718 T-MB 4i (23°), with KBS TGI 110 Tour Graphite Iron shaft Been experimenting with: Titleist 19° 818H2 D4(Neutral), (14g Fade) with 40.5” Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 95 X Shaft
I love how detailed you guy's are in all your video's, so much info!!! I'm thinking of taking my Taylormade M4 with the same shaft Matt is playing in his(such a great and stable shaft!!!) down to 40" to make a little flatter and add some lead tape to the toe for swing weight and shot shape (poor man's fix for now, LOL). Question on what your thoughts would be on when I hit my irons (all clubs) in doors on a simulator, I always hook them but very little hooks maybe baby draws at the most and can work both ways on the course. I play Nike VR Pro Blades with Project X 6.5. Makes it hard to do a fit indoors I feel.
With you doing the fitting with the Sonar grip and Matty playing the MCC+4 grip, doesn’t that throw off the swing weight from fitting to finished product being such a difference in weight. Love the content guys from Clearwater, FL!
Matt's set starting to add more Mizuno clubs in his bag..... Hopefully Mizuno irons next. 'Nothing feels like a Mizuno'. ;) Slowly coming around to the blue side.
Can you compare a game improvement iron to this Hybrid. Suggest Titleist T400 5 iron at 20 degrees. Promotes the high launch and given how well Matt hits his T100s this blend could be very interesting
Hey guys, I’m going for a fitting and was curious if it’s ok to go into the fitting only wanting one iron set, is it a better idea to go in with 3 or 4 options?
I'm a simple man. I see a new upload, i click like before even watching it.
I am really digging these new camera angles interspersed in.
MinisAndGolf yeah, definitely adds to the video...just need to steady it a bit!😐
Me too, but give that guy/gal a Valium to settle down those shaky hands, lol
Really like them - but it would be even better with some color grading/ White balance fixing!
Matty's swing looks even tastier from those angles... 8:57
The b roll is good. The wiggly handhelds of the conversation are jarring from the product/brand they put out. Stick with tripods.
Amazing how quickly you guys can zero in on a bang bang combo. That shows the expertise and professionalism coming out of TXG! You guys continue to BE the needle of golf content on YT!

Loving my mavrik pro 24 degree hybrid. Most lofted and best hybrid I have ever own owned. For whatever reason I don't get those toe hooks with it.
Great evolution in the video angles and editing. I just love watching Ian do his magic, like any Master Craftsman he is just fascinating to watch.
This channel has made me look into what it takes to become a club-fitter in the future. Keep up the good stuff guys!
Every video you guys do is just pure quality. Even stuff I’m not interested in I enjoy. Great job fellas!

Enjoyed seeing that. :) Thanks guys! So very many aspects to look at for these hybrids.
As others have mentioned definitely liking the new camera angles and b roll footage. Great way to keep evolving!
The Mizuno CLK 2020’s are outstanding! I added one to my bag after watching one of your videos a month ago.
Me too! Got 1 today with a Speeder HB 75s
great video I liked the different camera angles and I like that you recommend coming back if something isn't working
It's amazing when you have a great fit with a club how your swing just feels better having confidence is the key .
Another Masterclass from TXG!
96.5k!!!!!!!!!! Getting closer

Thankfully Ian's expertise shines through in producing the best product combinations so that Matt may swing naturally and achieve the desired results. Thanks Gentlemen.
I watch a ton of golf on RUclips and you guys are the best. Period.
Loved the fitting. You guys have turned me into a numbers geek.
I recently watched a video from 2018 of Matt working with Larry on his swing. Can't believe how much he has improved. I can see why the equipment needs to keep being adjusted.
Really cool to see how different spin/launch can be between different heads. Great content as usual!
Love the hybrid fitting and so funny as I was looking at all 3 of those hybrids for myself
One more great video, would love to have a center like TXG in Denmark, to go and have a fitting like the ones you give. Keep up the great work guys 👍🏻⛳️

Its great to see an insight into minor adjustments making a massive difference 🏌️♂️⛳
Thanks Guys for the Video! It sound like if you want to take your Golf game to the next level is get each Club tune to your Swing. And go find a Swing Master to help.
You know how couples start looking a like after awhile. I think Ian and Matt’s bag start looking a like.
I wrote to you as a concerned subscriber months ago about you hybrid. Thank you for making the change. We believe in you to much to watch you hit bad hybrids
Good video. Like the new camera angles used. Well done TXG.

“Safety club goes 240 in the air”. That would be nice, wouldn’t it.

👀 new camera angles looking good! Great video as always 👍
The Mizuno CLK is the first hybrid I've been fit into and like hitting, I used to really dislike them before trying that one.
Added mizuno hi fli 4-5 recently. Working well on hilly courses shorter shaft. Looking CLK 3 hybrid for distance. Found one with tensi reg red. Hope fills gap when carrying cobra 3 wood.

Love the content. And once again so jealous of Matt's swing.. to be young and flexible again...
Mizuno CLK - love it! I have the JPX900 - 3 with 19° which is quite similar and I love it - Mizuno really stepped up their game in the hybrid category! :)

DAMMMM!!!!
That's my Driver distance 265🏌️♂️⛳
Big Cat MATT!! It's not the name of the club it's the feel of the club that fit your swing speed!!
Like the New side shot!! up close Camera angles🎬🎥
New HD! VIDEO CAMERA📷📹📸
Any chance of you guys ever doing a course vlog this season? Would love to see you use this equipment out on the course
Hey guys... Could you please go into more detail on the difference from going up 1 degree on 19 hybrid vs going down 2 degrees from 22 hybrid and why that was Matt's best choice? I think many would be interested because we could use that information when looking at adjustable drivers as well. Thanks !!!
Thanks for the additional angles of dirty dogs swing
Love these "impromptu" sessions - have you tried the Tour Edge hybrids? I play the EX10 and it is a beaut!
Why change from a 22* head to the 19* both set at 20*? Heavier head weight?
Time for another ball fitting video! 👍
love the CLKs. aside from driver, the long end of my bag are the 16, 19, and 25 degrees (adjusted to 15, 20, 25).
Nice content! Can you show the gapping stats for WITB for you both? Where are the really big gaps? Drive to 3W? What about from P to Wedges? 👍
very intrigued about shorter length hybrids, actually am testing the sub70 hybrid and its only .25 in shorter than my current gamer (mizuno clk 2017). definitely feels as if i have more control with the shorter hybrid but cant tell anything else other than that w/o access to a monitor. great video boys

Would LOVE to see and video front/back/side view highspeed SloMotion video of Matt bot swing with Driver and Iron and hear his story about how he gained speed and accuracy!
If you hit down, a higher loft delofted is always a better feel than lower upped in loft for me. I hit down -6°~-2° for irons/hybrids/fairways.
Great video. Love the handheld camera shots thrown in!
Is Matt going to have a 5 wood in the bag as well as the hybrid? They should be going similar carry distances/ heights now?
The good ole state of Oklahoma needs an Ian. The knowledge and tech that he has is insane.
I need to try a hybrid because I cant hit my 3w consistently. My 3i hi fli is like 225 so maybe a hybrid will hive me 240-250 for does par 5
Matt (and Phil Mickelson) has my favourite swing of any golfer. Effortlessly slick and powerful 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Im certainly in a love hate relationship with my hybrid since changing my irons dont seem ti get on with it as well. Play cb 80s in g410 hybrid and s300 amt +1/2 inch in irons. Could it be sw?
Matt seemed really depressed about that M6. Lol. I like the new camera angle. High quality production right there!
Currently having lessons with Ian's pal Paul McKechnie... top coach!
After seeing this and all of the WITB, I cant wait for the on course videos
Donkeykong0303 agreed bro. I had thrown it out they should do a on course vid with the recent shootout winners just for fun. As much as I appreciate the studio stuff, I really
Dig the on course stuff.
How important is it too add back the weight in the head on the last CLK? (19 degree, half inch off) Seems Matt was swinging it quite well even at the lighter swingweight
great vid.....and timely!
I'm messing around with my 3i & 4i right now trying to settle on what i want in those spots!
Currently:
Titleist 21° TS3 Hybrid A4(20°), with 40.5" Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 95 X Shaft
Titleist 718 T-MB 4i (23°), with KBS TGI 110 Tour Graphite Iron shaft
Been experimenting with:
Titleist 19° 818H2 D4(Neutral), (14g Fade) with 40.5” Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 95 X Shaft
I love how detailed you guy's are in all your video's, so much info!!! Ha.. I had the exact comment in my head about the new camera work. Neat!!
Matty doesn't like long irons? seems like he has the speed to hit them? P790 style?
Since the stock shaft in the g410 hybrid is counterbalanced, does that mean you have to play a counterbalanced shaft in it
With you doing the fitting with the Sonar grip and Matty playing the MCC+4 grip, doesn’t that throw off the swing weight from fitting to finished product being such a difference in weight. Love the content guys from Clearwater, FL!
Videos are getting better every week!
I play a strong grip and have a lower ball flight. Just bought P790 irons with KBS c taper S120. Which shaft do you recommend to higher ball flight?
Hey welcome to mizuno my bag is full of them love the mizuno gootz
Love the vid!! Would you say this has more speed than an 818 hybrid?
Hmm quite possibly.
Matt's set starting to add more Mizuno clubs in his bag..... Hopefully Mizuno irons next. 'Nothing feels like a Mizuno'. ;) Slowly coming around to the blue side.
According to Mizuno's Website, the 2020 CLK Hybrid is not available in Canada. Assuming TXG can source it correct?
Two good guys ,,,, ty for sharing!!!!
Would you guys do fittings outside and on grass? Didn't someone say matt is really good indoors?
Got to love tinkering with Mattys bag
Can you compare a game improvement iron to this Hybrid. Suggest Titleist T400 5 iron at 20 degrees. Promotes the high launch and given how well Matt hits his T100s this blend could be very interesting
Matt, since you've been working on the 3 wood challenge, you're swinging beautifully.
Yes people like to watch it! Thx!!
Hey guys, I’m going for a fitting and was curious if it’s ok to go into the fitting only wanting one iron set, is it a better idea to go in with 3 or 4 options?
This new camera work is really nice!
Mizuno clk is offering the tensei pro white, is this the real after market shaft? thanks
I want to see y’all do an outside course vlog once the bags are figured out
I've got a old ping g25 20° hybrid that will never come out of my bag unless it explodes tied with my 8 iron for my favorite club in the bag.
can yall adjust clubs that I already have? Or do you always have to buy new clubs?
How much should swing weight change from irons to hybrids to woods?
When are you going to finish the fairway wood battle?!...
Tomorrow
Yeah new live camera makes if feel more intimate, like were there in person rather than just watching tv
