You should test the Genesis by using it as your daily driver for one week, then the Cybertruck, and do a comparison between both of them - a $100k vs. $100k daily driver.
The cartoon truck will fail at everything. FUGLY, terrible finish, no massaging seats, self driving maybe eventually but you have paid for it! And will cost a good deal less for 'fuel'

In 2018, while attending a car show I noticed a beautiful car in the area reserved for Rolls Royce/Bentley new models. I thought that it was a new Rolls model, but it turned out to be the new Genesis G90. I considered this model to be the nicest, understated example of a full-sized luxury car with the best body lines. The new car price at the time was in the low 70's which made this car a fantastic buy. In 2020, I found a beautiful, low mileage first year example and paid only $40K. My G90 has turned out to be the best, most reliable car that I have ever owned. True, understated elegance for a very reasonable price. By the way, my research indicates that this model in South Korean or Western Europe sells for a much higher price. It seems that Genesis wanted to penetrate the American market at any cost.
Do you remember what you saw the G90 going for in Asian/European markets? I'm curious how much of a discount we are getting for them to try for an invite to the 1%-ers club. Honestly, as good of an argument as the G90 is for Genesis being more universally considered a luxury brand, the mass market Kia/Hyundai SUVs/Crossovers that they have been coming out with more recently look so fantastic compared to the competition that they are moving public perception of the brand up market on their own. It's a good sign for any brand when your newest models for consecutive years are so good looking and popular that people are _happy_ to pay $10-15k over sticker in order to ensure they get one. Now they would be smart to work on their reliability, because while they do offer the best warranty available on new cars, I've heard it's hard to actually _use_ the warranty when things happen, and looks will only get you so far if reliability is lacking.
@@moogle68 Several years ago when I checked on the Asia/European prices they were around $100,000. My car is now 7.5 years old with low mileage and I have had no mechanical problems at all, just routine maintenance.

A couple of years ago I bought a 2017 Genesis G90. What a fantastic car. Absolutely love it. Will wait until this depreciates a little and then go looking.
Poor, April. First day on the job and the car is already trying to replace her. 🤣Definitely a good idea to have full self driving in case your chauffeur falls asleep due to the epic massage features though. Genesis has thought of everything!
Tyler, I love how your videos are full of innuendos saying things like "In the front you have wood" right after April lounges in a supermodel pose. 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been in the Lexus ecosystem for the last 10 years. I recently purchased a 2017 Genesis G80 5.0 Ultimate. So far it’s been a great experience and it’s pretty quick.
The thing I noticed about the G90 when I test drove one was that the adaptive speed control sensor was in the grille behind a plexiglass shield. Cars like Honda have the sensor naked and ready to be taken out by any passing rock ($2700 ouch!). Your comments remind me of the orgasmatron from SLEEPER.
Here is the fact. RUclipsrs promote Genesis by praising them (sponsored by Genesis) but no RUclipsr will buy one for themselves. Depreciation on flagship Genesis are so bad. You can get 2023 used G90 for $60k. 40% depreciation in one year. 2022 G90 is $45k 2021 G90 is $38k and so on.
While mine doesn't have as many bells and whistles as the G90, I absolutely love my 2020 Genesis G70 3.3T. It is fast AF with the twin turbskies. It was the 2019 Motor Trend COTY.

I have been wondering when you’d get around to Genesis. My wife and I have a 2013 Genesis and while it’s not as nice as this G90 but I’ll admit our Genesis sedan is a great car. I think the Hyundai Genesis, and the subsequent 1st gen Genesis vehicles are one of the best value used luxury sedans. I'd love to see one on Hoovie's channel as a comparison to this. They get all the depreciation of a normal luxury vehicle, with the added depreciation that people do not care about this badge at the moment. I would anticipate you also get reasonable Hyundia reliability, which other brands cannot say.
