100K+ customers don't buy cars, they buy relationships. The problem with Genesis is their dealer and service experience dead-ends anyone willing to try their products. Why doesn't Gucci sell bags at Walmart? No one takes Genesis seriously with the infrastructure they have in the US. Lexus only established themselves with great service and dealer experience that matched established luxury brands.
Ethan, In a hypothetical scenario in which I was given $100k to spend on cars in the next year or so, I would take a Crown Signia XLE and a Land Cruiser FJ manual and believe it or not, a lower mileage classic preferably in the form of a full-size station wagon. 😍 🤩🤩 I almost put a GR Corolla on the daydream list and then remembered I don't actually fit in the current generation of Corolla. 🤨
Greetings from Glenn in Cleveland! Happy, healthy and safe New Year to you and yours! A friend of mine leased two Genesis's, one after the other. They rode and drove incredibly well. When the lease was up on the last one, she was going to lease another one. It was no longer affordable to do so. She got the top-of-the-line Sonata instead. The only thing that I did not like about the Genesis is the logo, It reminds me of the Chrysler logo!
The car is overdone and is trying too hard. The GV80 and G80 are Genesis' best cars for the money. This is nice, but it doesn't quite look right on the road.
@@MercOne yeah but that’s just their design language. I don’t think it’s overdone, just unique. Especially when so many cars nowadays lack distinct designs haha
I would have to disagree. This cars looks great on the road. I drove one for 1 day... and got compliments after compliments. One guy even said nice Bentley you have there...lol...the ride was amazing and felt like pure luxury...
Lol. That’s what they said about the 2020 G90 but it ain’t half the price after over 4 years. They hold their value better than s class, A8, and 7 series. Overall full size luxury vehicles don’t hold their value well. But I doubt it’s gonna be worth 50k after 3 years.
If you had $100k to spend, what would you do with it?

Nismo Z or a Cayman GT4 RS
@@eto2352 Bingo.
I'll hand it to Genesis for coming up with an interesting and unique design language that actually looks pretty good!
Love seeing a sedan, although it is way out of my price range, wish they had a wagon. You need one, you look great in it
Base Genesis G90 = $100K
Mercedes S-Class Fully
Specked Out = $200K
Mercedes Maybach Fully
Specked Out = $300K
You Tell Me Which Has Better Value!
I like your articulate car reviews.
Great work. This car looks mean when I see them in Seoul. Love them.

Step on the brake to close all doors.
excellent review brother
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Gorgeous, reliability is a 10
Perfect car for a traffic jam and driving way too much...especially if you live in a mansion.
Genesis missed one detail, atmosphere is spelled wrong on the Care screen.
Haha good catch!!!
Ethan, Have you had the Hyundai Pony or your channel yet?
Not yet, would love to
@@HelloRoad Stay tuned!

Nah. It’s not trying too hard. It’s elegant and nicely understated. Not polarizing and uneasy on the eyes.
@@upbeattvraw-hiphop8242It’s clearly not understated with all the lines and creases and funny light bars.

Probably need to wait more than five years; Genesis depreciates only slightly more than Lexus.
