Yeah, for real. I mean - there’s playful competitive ribbing, then there is this display of the beginnings of runaway narcissism where he really can’t stand to be losing, even a simple game.
I mean it is obvious that Doug let it get under his skin.
He really comes across as a douche in these competitive videos
I hate to sound like an ass but I don’t see how people think he’s an asshole or narcissistic. His humor has always been snarky with playful banter with jabs here and there. Read his 2 books from years ago, it’s full of the same humor he has today and none of it comes off as “that’s too far” or “man, what a dick”. Who knows, maybe I’m an asshole narcissist for not seeing it, but people say money made him this way and a) I’m far from rich, and b) he was the same way when he was writing Autotrader columns and making videos about his Hummer and R32, long before he was making good money. In his book he even talks about how he financed his 360 through his parent’s name with every dollar he had, and could only afford to take it out only to make a video on it. Watch his videos with hoovie he made with Autotrader, long before cars and bids and before he was famous.
Heel turn in the last YEAR?! Were have you been?! Doug has always been this kind of intolerable asshole, and the only reason he won was because he had already seen all these cars! The man's an idiot who got lucky with his series. Half of his stupid "quirks and features" are BS thing that he was too dumb to realize many cars have, or simply that he misunderstands their function or purpose.

Every time I see a Cars&Bids video (or even a Doug Demuro video where he plugs the site), I'm sitting here secretly hoping to see my Lotus Evora I sold on the site a couple years ago. It made a brief appearance in one video but that was it. I don't even know why I care, but it's consistently every video for me!

@@mogul1 They changed from "More Doug Demuro" to "Cars and Bids", and Alanis and Kennan have been lame as hell. So, no one wants to watch it and they got rid of her.
@@mogul1 she was doing the Doug style reviews of cars on Cars and Bids, hired by them. And then I think they ended up stopping those kind of reviews early. And I think she was bummed by the sudden nature of being let go. She said on some comment that she wasnt doing videos anymore for Cars and Bids and implied it was kinda blunt in how she was let go. I understand why, as it seems like her and Kennan's videos were lucky to get to 30k views and it seems these videos they are doing, the competition ones, do alot better. Which in turn, help the channel and the company's claims to boost sales. I just really liked Alanis and thought she was awesome, especially with Doug when they did videos together.

No such thing as a Z3M. It was the M Coupe.
I should clarify. The M Coupe and M Roadster were based on the Z3, but unlike other M cars there was no number associated with it. Even the Z3 badging was left off. As such, there was no Z3M. This is in contrast to the Z4M which actually did have Z4 badging in both the coupe and roadster. So, no Z3M. The story on the M Coupe is that it was actually an M division special and the Z3 Coupe was sold to make up for the development cost. So, unlike the M Roadster which was based on the Z3, the Z3 Coupe was based on the M Coupe.
