Would be a lot more educational to both the viewers and the players if they told us not just the year it was invented, but showed what car introduced it, and perhaps some context to along with it.
Growing up (being born in 1986) i remember my Dad having the coolest Car when he drove me and Friends to School It was a Mazda 323F and because of the Pop-up Headlights all the other Kids would be amazed by it Pop-up Headlights definitely should come back! Re: traction control, Packard introduced the limited slip differential to the consumer market in 1956, followed by Chevrolet in 1957 with the Posi-trac. Although not computer controlled, they did essentially the same thing using mechanical means.
They gotta do another challenge but only with cars they purchased from CarsAndBids. It's time to see Doug actually buy a car on his own site and use it, as he has yet to buy one from there and every car he's gotten after launching CarsAndBids has been outside CarsAndBids.
I'm shocked to see Doug be such a good sport about Kennan being in the lead for the majority of the video. Even congratulating him on right answers. What happened to him lol
Depending on how far you’re willing to stretch the word “road car”, there were other production vehicles that had a V10 before the Viper. There were several V10 Diesel trucks made in the 70s and 80s.
Vanderhall Venice is a motorcycle here :D Just read up about the GM traction control. basically measures front wheel speed vs rear wheel speed, if there is a difference it cut the spark plugs power. Easy and effective, apart from the part that your exhaust will spit raw fuel...
It was actually offered on the '88 Olds Cutless Supreme first, then the Grand Prix got it a couple years later on the GTP. (You could also get it as a standalone option on the SE or GT)
Part 2 please! Include First car year thats twincharged Last steam powered production car year First car year with Aircon First car year with disc brakes all round First car year with rotary engine First car year with satnav integration First car year kei car production
How did he get the job at cars & bids?! If it was just down to car knowledge I would be God there. Yeah, I know obscure facts don't make a good employee, but this is a car enthusiast website. I would expect everyone there to be at Dougs' level.
Doug’s the type of guy to unhinge his jaw like a snake and consume Kennan
🤮🤮🤮

Never thought I'd see vore on this channel but here we are
part 2 of same topic please, this was fun. include answer car pics too
Yeah!!!! Include pictures of the answer so I don't have to Google them after!
I’ve never seen Doug so happy to lose 👏

Agree.
This would be much better with some context on the answers....
The game shows are really getting more polished! great work, team!
Great idea for a game/quiz/challenge. Thanks for the video.
There were indeed diesel V10s prior to 1991... 1960s.
0:00 THIS jumpscare warning
^ THIS is a jump scare warning!
Doug whispering “they’d be making a v80” kills me for no reason lol

Re: traction control, Packard introduced the limited slip differential to the consumer market in 1956, followed by Chevrolet in 1957 with the Posi-trac. Although not computer controlled, they did essentially the same thing using mechanical means.
Doug is exactly right! GM's traction control was only used for 2 years and then dumped. Although it returned in 1979 in a Cadillac.
I mean it doesn’t take a genius to presume such a thing lmao
Filippo is so right about the fuel injection coming late to most markets. In most of europe we had carburated cars untill the very late 90s.
I'm so pumped for the $18,000 car challenge! 🏎 🏁
Can't wait for the 2nd episode.

This was a great one.
Informative, you can play along, and the chemistry was working well.
Many of our E450 ambulances at work have the V10, its got torque for days
For those curious about the traction control question, Buick MaxTrac in the 1971 LeSabre is what is being discussed & yes it was computerized.
I'm shocked to see Doug be such a good sport about Kennan being in the lead for the majority of the video. Even congratulating him on right answers. What happened to him lol
Doug - read about the 36 cylinder 121 liter aircraft engine. They didn't stop making crazy motors, they just switched over to airplanes...
I wanna see a Filippo friendly game! 😊
Name all the trim levels and option packages on the 2013 Kia Sedona
The first racing V10 engine was created by Alfa Romeo in 1986
I guess it’s a production car quiz though
Actually the first car with fuel injection was a Goliath GP700 in 1952 (also German brand) .... 3 years before the 300 SL Mercedes

This is great.
I liked this one , i was 2-3 years off each one except the last for which i was thinking '88 (7 series...that was actually '86)
Congrats to Kennan for the impressive victory. I actually learned some things!
That was great 🙂👍🏻
Doug, if you are interested RBM mercedes has one
7:31 fillipo cracked me up hahahaha
Doug us always not happy losing a game 😂😂😂

How did they not show a picture of the 1936 car?
Kennan out here proving to all his haters he's legit
the mid to early 60's corvettes had them
What year did the E39 M5 debut? That's the only year to choose, right Kenen?
As a swede I’ve always heard that Volvo invented the three point seatbelt but never checked if it’s actually true 😅
Honda prelude mentioned🗣️🗣️
GM was also putting optional airbags in their units in the early 70's, and had HUD by the mid-80's.
Wasn't it the Grand Prix GXP that got the first HUD?
It was actually offered on the '88 Olds Cutless Supreme first, then the Grand Prix got it a couple years later on the GTP. (You could also get it as a standalone option on the SE or GT)
cadillac v16 which was a 452 cu inch 45 degree engine
Doug is the type of guy who releases 2 videos on the same morning.

Busch-Sulzer ICRR 9201, it was a train, not a car…
The first car was Alfa Romeo in 1986
Isuzu made V10 engines in 1965
Got the seatbelt one bang on because my mum had a few Volvos that said since 1959 on the buckle
I think it says "1959" on the seatbelts of modern Volvo.
@ it doesn’t say it on my mums current 2020 XC90 or my 2013 V40 so I have no idea when it was or why not all of them have it
@@lbnewell23 my dads 2023 xc90 says it, weird

NO MENTION OF WHAT CARS HAD THESE FIRST.
Somebody seriously needs to stop spiking the water in the C&B office with adderall.
The LFA shade with that V10 list.
Does the 3rd guy know anything
My cousin Vinni ... Posi-traction..
Doug (donut media) Demuro
Doug should've got the seatbelts one, he's reviewed Volvo's with it written on the seatbelt 😂
That pop-up question was the least smug Doug has been in these vids 😂

First car year thats twincharged
Last steam powered production car year
First car year with Aircon
First car year with disc brakes all round
First car year with rotary engine
First car year with satnav integration
First car year kei car production
Any eta on when to expect the Android app? will it come to Android?
Kennan is a historian
Why is there a CYBER TRUCK in the background of Doug's shots
Missed opportunity to include first car with xenon projector headlights, ABS and airbags. C’mon guys!
Yjob had pop ups in the late 20s. It wasn't a production car but that wasn't specified
Some of the “Doug the type of guy” comments have become too bland, little effort. Like watching GM make vehicles.
No, I won.
Poor Shaun getting thrown right under that bus
The Volkswagen Toureg came with a V-10 diesel option.
the V10 was used the Leopard 1 in the 60's and even erlier in trains so tecnically v10 was invented in 1935-1936
Wasn't the early 60's Lotus Elan the first car with pop up headlights???
