Yes! Just use 2 cups of almond flour instead of 1/2 cup of coconut flour. Since coconut flour is so absorbent you use a lot less than you would regular flour.
Hey there Zoe! I haven't tried swapping the coconut flour for oat flour in this specific recipe but you can definitely try. Oat flour will yield a different consistency in your muffins however I think they should still be just as delicious. I would maybe start with using 1/2 cup of oat flour and be sure you get a similar batter to that in the video. Just add about a Tbs more at a time if the batter is too runny. Let me know if you try the swap out and how they turn out! :)
Thank you for this recipe! I have made them twice already. The first time, I did make them with coconut oil, but the second time, I made them with unsweetened applesauce instead! They were still delicious and had less calories! :)
I will definitely try this, thank you
Hi thanks for this video, actually i didn't know that there's ability for such a dessert on whole30.
Can I use cassava flour instead on whole30?
I haven’t tried with cassava but I bet you can try to swap it out ☺️
Looking forward to trying this. Also, love the little rub of your bun in the oven before putting the muffins in the oven 😆
Hahaha thank you so much Grace! It’s so fun to look back and see my belly grow 🥰
Do you think I could use almond flour ?
Yes! Just use 2 cups of almond flour instead of 1/2 cup of coconut flour. Since coconut flour is so absorbent you use a lot less than you would regular flour.
Thank you for this! I’m on whole30 for health reasons, and have been for months, so this is really great!!

Also...oats are not compatible on Whole30.

That sounds delicious Elisabeth! I’m totally going to give the Apple sauce a try next time. I’m so glad you enjoyed them!
