@Swami Holland that's the sound engineer's job to adjust the mic's volume because its out in the open. Also the audio is clearly filtered because you can barely hear the instrumental or the background singers so the person who filtered it from the original recording could've adjusted different parts so it sounds consistent on each note. Saying this is prerecorded and lipsynced is like saying mariah used studio tracks and sounded like this in the studio. You know damn well she's too much of a perfectionist to be satisfied with audio like this. She'd never use this to lipsync.

When you watch this on your tv at home you would hear everything in balance because you are hearing all feeds and it has been mixed etc. But this is a live fed from just her mic and you can hear the live band the backing track and the background singers faintly behind her coming through her mic. I wasn't saying that Mariah might never have lip synched ever in her whole career but this is not one of those times and too often she is accused of it when it's not true.
