Everyone's voice changes over time, it's a natural fact that she is not going to sound the same as she did back in her twenties. Her performances are emotional and heart warming, something critics in the 1990's always accused her of lacking, people need to keep their negativity to themselves.
She sounded great on the today show, From what I am hearing everybody is talking about how good this song is. This is her next WBT for show. I love her ,ballds can't wait to get my copy in the mail on monday.

Mariah dosen't lip-sync her songs... what I noticed it lots of her new music has voice overs 'cause she sings many different parts of the song and puts it together as one... so when she sings live, she may be singing along with a background karaokee version 'cause she can't sing all of her parts at once!!!
