I thought of this before, making a series on different ways to do tricks. I know 3 different ways to Varial Kickflip, that's what brought it to mind. Good idea for a video series, definitely

Good vid. It's worth noting, even the sketchiest rocket kickflip was mindblowing and looked amazing to everyone back in the day. Standards have changed quite a bit.
Great favorite tricks of mine: - Double Kickflip = 500 pts. - Triple Kickflip = 1.000 pts. - Fingerflip = 800 pts. But I miss my very favorite one: Kickflip-Underflip = 1.500 pts. (Special Trick)
@@lory469 It is difficult indeed, but you can exaggerate it. Never forget, skateboarding is difficult in general. But difficulty is relative the same way as space and time. If a trick is easy or not, mainly depends on if you mastered it yet.

1:00 - This was my favorite trick to do when I skated... I'd practice this on flat ground and try not to touch the ground the whole time, I've done it to Primo, Casper and even learned how to land on the board upside-down then hop and flip it back over. It's so much fun, even if you don't skate, it's an easy trick.... I'd do pressure flips and Underflips but this was the first pressure style trick I learned and it quickly became a favorite. 😁

Dude! I've watched most your videos. I spread them to tons of young kids who have the stoke to skateboard too! You make it look easy, yet also show how hard it really is. Other flatground kickflips: handstand, landing one footed or cross legged, kickflip body varial (sex change?), no comply kickflip, I'm sure more.
Might try some of these variations before landing a regular kickflip. Gotta wait for my ankle to heal first though, sprained it while trying to kickflip ; )
I learned how to kickflip before fully unserstanding the ollie. Just stationery in some gravel so i didnt slip out. That was about 13 years ago but still one of the biggest highlights of my skateboarding career
Some other kickflips to try: kickflip 180 (or 360) body varial fs and bs, ollie late kickflip (all stances - nollie, fakie, switch, regular), kickflip indy (or other grabs), kickflip into rail/primo/casper/truckstand, kickflip landed cross legged (2 ways - left or right leg crossing in front, all stances), kickflip caught with front foot way out in front like a benihana, kickflip no comply/foot plant/2 steps during flip/with a 180 body varial, handflip (pop board into your hand, tap it and it bounces off and flips, similar to fingerflip, can also use your knee/elbow), as others have said, underflip, kickflip underflip or half-flip.
it would be cool if you make a video of the different ways to do a regular kickflip, i mean, the different foot positions people use for kickflips and their respective results, the different angles of flicks, etc like an insight on the most popular skateboarding trick ever

Kickback flip is my go-to in a game of skate, it’s pretty unusual and people often get a letter on that hehe

The ollie late back foot flip looks so impressive. They all do but that one stands out in my mind.
