Hey Jonny, great vid been watching for a while. Me and my bro we’re trying casperflips and wondered if it was possible to do a casperflip down a stairset and hold the Casper as long as possible before rotating it back to catch it and land. Thought it would be a great challenge for you 1000th Vid, love your vids keep up the good work.
@Jonny Giger do you have tips on kickflip under flips you just uploaded a video on them and you landed a couple just wondering if you have any tips on the trick because my back foot keeps getting in the way and don’t know how to underflip it with the front foot any practice steps you know. Thanks!
My butt still hurts from watching the video. A trainer once told me that you can break your tailbone outward or inward when falling on your behind. If it broke outwards you have to push it in. Of course we asked what happens if you break it inwards. He replied by making the international gesture of putting on rubber gloves: 🤚 🤏
@originalprolikethat UK english is newer english. North American colonial dialects are from a mix of old peasant dialects and being forced to develop pigeon languages with Native-Americans. Native-Americans learning English and French has had a huge impact on how Americans, Canadians and Quebecois pronounce these words, but not as huge an impact as old peasant languages including scottish and irish dialects which is frankly cooler than what happened in Europe: the peasants in London and Paris all started speaking like royalty and the dialects and accents that Americans and Quebecois have today are now extinct in Britain and France even though that is where they are from.

I feel like I'm executing a lot of these tricks far better than I did in my younger years, as the only people from whom I learned were my peers, not pros and/or RUclipsrs. I just seen this post and agree 100% where was you tube when I was growing up skating. I am 40 now, and just decided to buy a new board and reignite my passion for skating. It haven't skated in about 18 years, and with the help of Jonny Giger, Braille, and YT, I have picked up what I could do then, and now more. I have now even got my kids into it too. I like the good and friendly atmosphere that is produced about skating nowadays, it a healthier sport than it used to be.
I have the same problem, i have found like 2 skate spots by skating through my town. I recommend being with a friend, doesn't even need to be someone who skates. 😊

I just bought this board!! Got it’s coming in the mail it’s gonna be my first genuine custom, I saw the design n thought it was dope then I saw it was yours had to get it 🤙🏽
I think you should ride in the pavement but hold on to something, so you can have more confidence, and not fall in the pavement. Or you could where pads if you want.
Imma requesta trick you should try: Frontside 90 on a box, fs powerslide the box in the middle do a heelflip and fs powerslide the rest of the box, 90 out. jonny if u see this ily your vids.
Thanks Jonny, this is a very helpful video to improve my skills. It would be a little bit better, if you do some tricks also in goofy stance, because it helps a lot for beginners like me to learn immediately from your channel and not to switch to Braille Skateboarding in order to look at the difference. Cheers! 😎
back in the day we used to call the 'step-off kickflip' an 'old school kickflip', still a legitimate trick though but rarely seen nowadays. I'm surprised you didn't include the up/down kerb 'trick', literally the first thing i learned to do on a skateboard once i could actually balance on one and super useful for just casually getting around the streets and stuff
also, the 'tic-tac' is another super-useful trick as it's another way to generate momentum without actually pushing. easy but genuinely useful for just getting around
Plz can I get a video for people just getting into advanced skating after Tre flip frinside flip ECT. What should come next ???? I feel like I can't be the only one with four years of skating just feeling lost
I'm so scared to try any of those so called EASIEST TRICK 😂😂😂😂😂..... Being a beginer its so hard to even stand on the board and ride right... I fell 100+ times, got bruised several times, still in that riding without falling phase😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 dear Lord help me gain some courage to at least do a little 😂
easy tricks ! my be not the nose many though... an olli is much easier for me.. and when I do teach them, if someone can ride a board it takes me several hours depending on the person... because I do often see people who just get a new deck steps the first time on an tries a kickflip without knowing how to riding, tick tak ing no complying fs 180 bs 180 bs pop shove it fs pop shove it and heelflip.. I mean for some people kickflip is easier than a heelflip though.. or like hey, I know how to kick flip lets go for a tre flip... without doing any varial flips at all.. so even I do still such at skateboarding, when I see someone above, I do teach them the tricks in between before even doing an kickflip attempt. because I can`t help myself but helping them... even my session might be over from the moment I start it.. I think though a casper stall 360 flip is easier than the rail flip though... anti casper espcially
Thanks for the great videos - this and all the others. You actually made me buy my first skateboard in like 20 years. Got it today and I‘m stoked. These tricks will be a good start 😊 keep up the great work! Greetings from Berlin
What's that music at 5:36 ? You use it quite often and it stays in my mind aaaal day long... Great video anyway. So great video ! I'm taking it step by step, managed to tiktak and kickturn (except I realised when I tried to ollie that I could only manage to do it goofy while I have been learning to ride, tiktak and kickturn regular, so... I'm currently relearning from the start, goofy stance!).
If you're a complete beginner the tik tak will take you a hell of a lot more than 24 hours but I think it's the absolute best for board control and building confidence.
Well i just bought a skateboard and hum i dont know what To do with it NO worry son Jonny got you 4real i just started skateboarding and i managed To land these tricks in about 3 hours Fine Video as usual Jonny even do i almost died landin primo😁 now i Guess only thing left is To get those cleaner 😉 Kudos for the rail flip landin primo
The names of all the tricks you've changed so much since I used to skateboard in the mid 90s. We used to call the board slide, a rail slide. We called the tic tac, teeter-totter. Of course all the terms still exists like manual , nose manual, olie impossible, front foot impossible, , fifty-fifty grind and stuff like that.
A manual is the only trick that I can do. I ride regular stance and I think I'm getting close to landing a shove-it. I can get the board to spin 180°, and my front foot lands on the board, but I'm struggling getting my back foot on.
i would like to learn skateboarding well, but the municipality does not want to place skateparks anywhere. I just want to go outside and express my hobby😔

Landing in primo is one of the most dangerous ways to land. And you listed primo as an easy trick. What’s worse, messing up an Ollie or messing up that primo flip?

NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!
This moment by Lilly from HIMYM is one of my favorites, damn, it’s so nostalgic
Today, I just did my first trick!! (The flip on) super thankful for this video thank you!!
Wtf Manuels are not easy i learned a heelflip and still cannot do a Manuel for 2 seconds 😂
i love how you sound like steve carell in some sentences 😂
I can’t ride off a pavement cuz I’m scared of pain - and I wonder if I should do some other tricks first or continue to ride off the pavement.
I think you should ride in the pavement but hold on to something, so you can have more confidence, and not fall in the pavement. Or you could where pads if you want.
Worri thanks for the advice! There is nothing to hold onto, so I have rolled my ankles twice. I have gotten something for ankle support already.
my guy jonny says that mannuals are easy
Imma requesta trick you should try: Frontside 90 on a box, fs powerslide the box in the middle do a heelflip and fs powerslide the rest of the box, 90 out.
jonny if u see this ily your vids.
Thanks Jonny, this is a very helpful video to improve my skills. It would be a little bit better, if you do some tricks also in goofy stance, because it helps a lot for beginners like me to learn immediately from your channel and not to switch to Braille Skateboarding in order to look at the difference. Cheers! 😎
Yooo so much good work on you last video, never stop this Jonny 😊
Me oh this is so easy
Pro skater you make it look so easy
2 second later he gets and then tries again and dies
So true
back in the day we used to call the 'step-off kickflip' an 'old school kickflip', still a legitimate trick though but rarely seen nowadays.
I want to do these I'm just scared to idk
Luisito comunica twin
He literally opened a skating world for me... tnx so much
Luisito comunica ahora es skater xd Good video 😎👌
BODIED
Plz can I get a video for people just getting into advanced skating after Tre flip frinside flip ECT. What should come next ???? I feel like I can't be the only one with four years of skating just feeling lost
Awesome. Thanks. A good inspiration for what I can teach my Son :) Body-Varial is also a nice thing for beginners.
Yo I just accidentally landed the BS ''360'' with the manual pivot for the first time haha
Luisito Comunica ahora es Skater?!! :0
I'm so scared to try any of those so called EASIEST TRICK 😂😂😂😂😂..... Being a beginer its so hard to even stand on the board and ride right... I fell 100+ times, got bruised several times, still in that riding without falling phase😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 dear Lord help me gain some courage to at least do a little 😂
i sprained my toe once while driving over a bump. and he wants to show me tricks where I'm too stupid for, but which should be easy haha
no. 1: nollie Tre flip.
easy tricks ! my be not the nose many though... an olli is much easier for me.. and when I do teach them, if someone can ride a board it takes me several hours depending on the person... because I do often see people who just get a new deck steps the first time on an tries a kickflip without knowing how to riding, tick tak ing no complying fs 180 bs 180 bs pop shove it fs pop shove it and heelflip..
VERY NICE!!! 👍🏻👍🏻 best in all of kazakhstan
Thanks for the great videos - this and all the others. You actually made me buy my first skateboard in like 20 years. Got it today and I‘m stoked. These tricks will be a good start 😊 keep up the great work! Greetings from Berlin
I got my flip off today
It’s amazing that even these easier tricks can still put up some good battles to land lol
I do my boneless tricks (fs bigspin, fs 360, Christ air, hardflip and kickflip) from mute position, much easier that way to me.
im 30 and im going to buy a skateboard next week :) i will try the tricks thx for the video 👍
If you're a complete beginner the tik tak will take you a hell of a lot more than 24 hours but I think it's the absolute best for board control and building confidence.
That Casper position helped me land bolts! Thank you @Jonny Giger
I'd love to see a match of Skate without the easy tricks... Maybe create a ban list ^^ That said... all tricks are kinda impossible for me XD
I cant do dat 5:24
A manual is the only trick that I can do.
I ride regular stance and I think I'm getting close to landing a shove-it. I can get the board to spin 180°, and my front foot lands on the board, but I'm struggling getting my back foot on.
i did a flip on but landed on the edge accidentally and fell the 2nd time i tried it, is there a name for this ? lol
Not saying you copied him, but this camera view really reminds me of Skateboard Bruh. I really like it 👍
This is literally what I need😂 some fun basic tricks. Especially after I learned Casper Stall.
Yeah yeah
Tic-tags pivots and all that crap…
Learn those and you’re almost on the pro’s
All that stuff simply helpful elements, but not tricks
i would like to learn skateboarding well, but the municipality does not want to place skateparks anywhere. I just want to go outside and express my hobby😔
Hey jonny giger my name is louie I live your chanel and watching u makes me want to learn how to skate is there any way u can donate me a bord cash is kinda of out the question for me I been struggling really bad and I also been diagnosed with MDDD major depression disorder it's the worst kind of depression out there literally anything can trigger it but when I watch ur videos it makes me feel so much better especially when my mdd hits me bad plz brother get back to me if u can I love your chanel plz brother help a brother out
Skating for about 10 years but still can't make good ollie. Feels rubbish
when the video started my captions were on for some reason and when they said "what is up guys Johnny GHAGRA here" i just died laughing 😂
Does anyone have a tip for my tic tac's? I don't have a problem going right but I have no control going left, like at all...
been transition skating for a year, just wanted to get better on the board, can do a few coping tricks and no axle stall and drop in yet :( feel like I'm hitting a plateau but with the miserable Scottish weather coming for however long, think it might be time to start some freestyle skateboarding, feeling like if i even dedicate a hour a night i should be able to make some fun little lines within a couple weeks, gave you a sub !!
Landing in primo is one of the most dangerous ways to land. And you listed primo as an easy trick. What’s worse, messing up an Ollie or messing up that primo flip?
Welp. Guess I fucking suck at skateboarding.
I think manuals are really hard and advanced. Maybe it’s just me though.
se partono pubblicità in continuazione io tolgo il video, non se ne può più.
How many of those tricks did Rodney Mullen invent?
This is a great map out of how learning to skateboard looks like. Im only 4 months in but this was naturally the route I’ve taken so far in my journey!
