really good video Styko, playing with my wife and 3 friends, is really good, but sometimes they don't understand the change of pace in the game and try to hunt kills, this hurts me! they give too much clutchs
Cool video idea! Definitely, aim is really overrated. Like even if you look just at solely mechanics, things like crosshair placement and counter strafing are at least as important, if not more.
crosshair placement is somewhat aiming. and counterstrafing is useless if u cant aim, since u wont hit any more bullets if u aim like a knife thrower at the carnival.
This is a very good video and concept. I'm 32, I'm inaccurate as hell compared to what I used to be, but I'm playing CS2 at around 17,500 MMR right now (not saying that's amazing but Im happy with it) and honestly my younger more twitchy friends are much lower rank than I am because they don't bother with the things that I do, like game sense, utility usage (actually going into offline and testing smokes and flashes), movement (kz practice etc) - I get so many free kills every game with just proper util usage and fast movement even though my aim sucks and my headshot percentage is a measly 34%. Many of them are still stuck at around 8k or below. Another thing that people dont want to do is to set their team mates up for success - thats again where proper util usage comes in, mid can't be a problem if you smoke it every round. If a guy is killing my team from Dark (Anubis) every round, I just smoke it from spawn and make sure they cant die to that player again.
I havent seen the video yet, but I have always imagined cs2 gameplay and my initial strategic theory when I started to IGL was: How to get most of every single fight or how to get something from every lost fight. Basically, if I fail aim-wise, there is someone trading. If we go for duel and we lose it, will we get additional information that will be still worth dying? Also taking only fights that are favourable is alwaays a good thing... of course this type of mentality gets you far team-wise, but alters each players confidence and thinking. Then you start overthinking everything and without confidence, you lose the first duels and openings. The equilibrium should be somewhere in-between. Taking fights with full confidence, but not beeing overconfident. Also beeing aware of the outcome of lost duel is important, but you cant overthink it.
I've done this in Valorant to see how high I could rank. I played on both high sens, or my usual sens but with my left hand. On high sens I reached Ascendant and left handed I hit Diamond. Problem with the high sens change was that I couldn't bring myself to unlearn things like crosshair placement, at least it was more difficult to maintain good crosshair placement with my left hand than it was on right with high sens.
The only way to really emulate "bad aim" in counterstrike is ~50ms of inputlag (on both movement and shooting). It's roughly the average reaction time difference between a normal player and pro/semipro. This is because engagements are so short in cs that just making mouse control less reliable doesn't slow down kills enough to be representative of a real world aim disadvantage. I can play on 8cm/360 and destroy people with reactions. But add 30fps/+vsync (~60ms inputlag) and I'm on par with the avg player, even when using my normal sensitivity
Great video! I have managed to hit 11k premier with 450h on very poor aim. I have though watched a lot of pro cs before so that game sense still carries me to somewhat success. But I feel like especially with teams that like to just run and thrust their aim I really struggle (and also against rushing teams), it feels like I forget how to aim all of sudden. I guess that only comes with time and experience, though would be great if you had some tips how to improve on that!
I mean, A has the perfect shape to be called B, and its also a bit of mandela effect, because my group of friends and i remember playing an earlier version of the map where both sites were named the other way around, but it seems like that version never existed (or we couldnt find it)
how can I help my friends with just a hundred items? why don't you use utility A in the second round. even if you know how to amit, but what if there is an unpredictable team in front of you. I play like crap myself, but I would like to see from you the reason why pro players play so safe cs. why is it so different? if this makes sense
I watched the 3 minutes of black screen in silence. It really made me have to think about how bad I am at CS. Just joking, thanks for the video Styko. Goes to show, positioning, team play, and maximizing your own strengths can really impact the game.
normal sensitivity but introduce input lag or lower your reaction time with substances. humanbenchmark yourself before and after. reaction time is a huge part of aiming, too, I believe
It’s a funny idea but sometimes I’d just be patient and tell to myself “don’t do anything stupid” and will simply work out like that, by playing “correct” 😅
I think that Aim is actually "time to kill". People confuse aim with mouse control alot. Aim to me includes crosshair placement, map knowledge, game sense, counter strafing, spray control and mouse control all of which lower the time to kill i.e good aim. As a kovaaks player I noticed that tac fps doesn't reward mouse control anywhere near as much as most other fps games. All the other aspects I said are way more significant. Super cool idea, great video man!
>"aim is overrated" >loses every duel >complains how hard it is to aim after each round >starts baiting his teammates to get positive k/d (1.0 btw) >loses >"see guys? aim is overrated"

Check out the How I Think series if you liked this one. It goes even more in depth.
You seen n0thing?
@@feschber literally what I was thinking, n0things videos were so good and informative, good to see someone picking up on those
Your content is so good Styko! Keep going forward!

"Playing with my wife"
Lmfaoooo
Even you confuse A and B on Anubis :D, it's so weird why it's so natural for them to be swapped.
true!
Love the video man! I have never been an aim player, and you gave me a lot of hope to still playing and mastering the game. There is still hope.

@@toobyy4554 aim is also kinda useless without counterstrafing tbh
Aim definitely isn’t overrated lol. But it can only take you so far.
Don't overthink. CS is a fast game where it's more important to develop yourself some muscle memory.
great video styko!! Idk why but the video goes blank around the 12th minute. Keep up the good content😀
Ah, yes, a little mistake has been done 😅
The video only has 12 minutes, it is being fixed, but it takes a while for RUclips to update.

Great video idea STYKO. I love how your content is genuinely made yourself. keep it up!
Unreal CS content just subbed

do you really pick revolver over dual?
saw that in buy menu
btw cool video, ty❤
yeah, on T side I don’t see a world where I would buy dualies 😅 R8 is just a troll loadout, I never buy it anyway
Sick vid… nice detailed explanations

In my opinion, crosshair placement is an aspect of game knowledge rather than aim.

Great concpet, any way i could do something similar for my channel?
bro that was a nice vid
is there a source to the CS map art you have hung up on the wall in the back? would love cop

Thanks for the video, Styko! I enjoy you sharing with us all this knowledge!
PS: Could you please share your crosshair?
8:21 Thank you for showing me that not only I callout the wrong bombsites on Anubis❤😂

What sense did you use for the video? 3.0 X 400dpi?
3.0 & 800DPi
Now tell me bro, beacuse im super curious, why dont u play with skins?
"Dead B, I mean A"
So relatable
🥲 struggle
very nice concept sir
Styko you playing on black bars ?
What mouse is that in the thumbnail, it looks like an unreleased Razer mouse
The mouse doesn't exist, it's just a generic mouse model with a Razer logo slapped on the front to make it look familiar.
how do you deal with cheaters man :((
Yeah pre aim and being aware is more important, i also forget to aim in times
Thank you for help. Now I am aware of how to climb to higher ranks.
Good to see that I am not the only one who dies with nades in their hand :D
Thankyou STYKO
NICE!
Thats such a cursed thumbnail image lmao, is that an xm1r with a razer logo?

Reaction time is Overrated, Let's play CS2 inebriated xD
Ok
I'd have another thought of doing that, without you somewhat changing your muscle memory: play with the left hand

I need styko crosshair from this video rn
To fake bad aim you can use a vertical mouse, jericho has been using these recently and he's struggling
good video
No headphones challenge😂
I think i have played with YarNik before
nice
1000th like
yes aim is overrated
i prefer to play with steering wheel
"Aim is Overrated" KEKW
why do you look like jesse pinkman
Why do you comment everything you think
Uninstalling cs2 Is the first step
No aim No gain, sim sorry but its true.
Wtff
in premier you need aimbot to compete with others. Multiplayer games have become HvH it is a joke
