Great content Styko! Lately I've actually found focusing on keeping my eyes active by making sure I look and focus in on my targets before I flick (instead of being lazy and unfocused with my eyes), and good crosshair placement / visualizing where enemies are on the map have really helped me become way more consistent in game.

Great video Styko as always, I want to ask if you could make a video on aiming bad habits, if you know what I mean, or if you tell me how can I fix them, like let say I have problem with crouching (when I see enemy I crouch) and also when when I am playing against eco rush, I have really shaky aim. Do you think those things are fixable when you recaping them before every game or?
A lot of people don't factor in the actual desk to be the culprit of many aim problems. Try using an unstable desk over a stable desk and try to aim normally.
Yooo I was talking with mini and waited for this video for weeks. Good job styko like with your others video, hope it will show a lot of people how to improve in a better way🤝
I love utility damage bro a guy had 15 kills with like 1200 dmg or whatever and I had almost 2k damage most utility damage I had was 500 and flashes 20 enemies and burn dmg 400 he was like an average of 40+ dmg
And it’s good to point out that you and people like you are utility gods, and that’s something everyone can improve on, countless line up’s, appreciate you 🤩
I think you missed two essential concepts. Firstly, choosing which angles to hold/peek with respect to enemy movement. Whenever the enemy moves perpendicular to the angle you're holding, they are traversing your screen incredibly fast. When they are (more or less) walking straight towards you, their movement with respect to your POV is far slower. Practically speaking, players should try to choose angles as 'diagonal' as possible with respect to enemy movement whenever possible. Secondly, crosshair placement when holding angles: lower skilled players are exceptionally bad at this. You should not be holding your crosshair at the first pixel of where they'll be first visible because you don't have 0 ms reaction time. If you do this, they swing and you have to react and then you have to flick after them. You should hold your crosshair at a place where the enemy would be ~200-300 ms after they peek you. Often this means 1-2 body widths away from the corner where they will peek from.
I feel I ruined my aim by playing with shoulders bent forward and the arm that goes to the mouse separated a lot from the body , It feels extremely stupid but I couldnt fix my aim back in the time changing positions etc, and affected my mental health so badly because I couldn't have fun while playing. for years I tried to play profesionally. This thing is probably part of overthinking but I see a big difference now that I see what really works , your body have to be straight or your back atleast, the arm should be close to your body and forming 90º angles , dont plant your arm on the desk excessively.
Great video, I think you just missed 1 thing. For all DM haters (like myself) - go play retakes! They are a super good way of warming up your aim in real gamelike scenarios
great video, how u can fix issue when u tried to react fast when u encounter an opponent and u basically get scared or twitch for trying to hit target fast- mainly for awp , for example s1mple awp mirage at paris when he gets double kill with awp in window with almost 90degree angle flick, but when u check his cam he shakes or twitch when he spotted an enemy, how to eliminate that shake hand and pottentionaly miss a target. - mainly for awp plays thx.
I'm pretty functional at static target and flicking in general, but my tracking is beyond terrible. I've never found it to be particularly useful in CS, any thoughts on why so much of your aim routine focuses on this? How does the smoothness training improve your game performance? I'd like to get at least basic proficiency here as I think it'd help but not sure about more than that.
Been watching alot. I keep checking back to see when you are going to release aim coach videos. I'm to poor for a coach but I can sub and keep coming back hoping
Have you talked to other pros about sensitivity? How do you and/or others choose a sensitivity? Do you change it often? I have around 2700 elo but my aim has always been mediocre because I cannot stop changing my sensitivity. No matter what sensitivity I pick, it always feels horrible after a few days of using it. I have tried all the tricks (like tracking a dot while moving around) and every sens feels fine, but something always happens in-game that makes me feel like it is either too high / too low and change it.
I would say this is more of a mental issue stemming of from imbalances outside of the game. Your mental diet and your food diet, sleep, your view of your self etc etc.
Let me throw in my two cents: sometimes, your aim is good, but, you might be peeking with W+A or W+D, this has 3 drawbacks: 1 - It makes you an easier target to hit 2 - It makes it harder for you to aim at the enemy 3 - Even if you manage to aim at the enemy, if you don't stop your movement with S+D or S+A, your shots won't land. To fix this, remember to always peek with only A or D. (You won't believe the amount of people who miss their shots like this. Even with 5k hours, sometimes, I catch myself missing because of this)

Aim is shaky when you have no confidence, you miss shots when you are tired and unfocused. Nobody has to train aim in this game. You need to train your mentality, game knowledge and crosshairplacement. (I dont count crosshair placement as your aim since that is just game knowledge, press in right moment and get kill)
I don't feel like aim trainers are for everyone. I just need to be in the game and feel the movement while shooting. I understand aim trainers are for aim, not movement, but when i play it and then i go back to game, it feels awful. Thus i stick to ffa and in game workshop maps. Just feels better
aim trainers focus on ur raw aim like a foundation for you to build your ingame aim ontop of, i recommend trying out the voltaic gg benchmark either normal or valorant and then see how you perform or if you want to improve it
@@STYKO alright thanks, the problem tho is that I have m_yaw set to 0.0165 instead of 0.022 which changes the vertical sensitivity, should I just change it to config instead of in-game then?
