Crime has increased significantly. Every night thieves roam the neighborhoods breaking into cars or stealing them. Then there are the homeless wandering around and the homeless encampments that the city was allowing. A couple of weeks ago there was one homeless guy wandering around the heavy traffic at 3rd and 50 in his pajama bottoms. Just adore the pub crawls in downtown with the drunks. Yes indeed just wonderful what all this development has brought to a town that no one wanted to live in 40 years ago. Yup, spent a lifetime here and I hate what it has become.

in the 90's we called it Sleez Skummit, one of the best city rebranding's I have ever seen.
Lees Summit is definitely underrated. Iv lived here 8 years and lately seems like the development has increased 10 fold
It’s starting to get the attention it deserves for sure!
@@movingtokcfantastic video by the way. Very in depth with all the information you’d need to consider moving here. Well done

14:36 Lake Lotawana out east is similar to lake winnebago, it has its own municipality put part of lee summit too and uses LS schools.
I love all the lake communities within the metro!
Lees summit farmers market is amazing. I would know cuz I set up there 😂😅
To me there's no drawbacks of moving there although I would be smart and rent for a while figure out if you want to stay somewhere for you by
Can you do one for Independence, MO?
Working on one now 👍🏼

Its funny that Lee's Summit Missouri has 66 Square miles of land cause the city of St.Louis Missouri has 61 Square miles on land.
