So glad to see a video again from you Ted!!! Just a word of encouragement. Me and my dad have been looking to your videos for information and intertainment for at least 5 years now I would say. We are thankful for the learning and technicality you've helped us to achieve in the airgun world. Looking forward to more content! But we all know you have a life to live as well! You've done the community a great service, THANK YOU. I'm sure you don't hear those two words enough. :)
Very cool and useful information Ted. At 4:47 I was too busy watching your skull getting buzzed by the deer flies more than paying attention to the wind, LOL
I bought the Disco package you recommended in one of your vids. Prior to that I'd never even heard of a PCP air gun. After some backyard plinking with the disco for a while, I just "pulled the trigger" and am the proud owner of an Impact 30 cal, a .25 cal barrel package (couldn't decide between the .25 and .30), Hawke Sidewinder 6-24x56 SR Pro, FX No Limit rings, a bipod, and 5 tins of ammo. The way I see it TED, you are at least partly responsible for the 3k+ I just dropped at Utah Airguns about an hour ago. Sure hope this new setup performs as good as my disco.
Trick for deerflies. Hold your hand slightly above your head and the flies will land on it where you can smack em. The flies are drawn to the highest point on your body (no reason that I can think of). You can also attach fly paper to an old cap and let em land on it. Deerflies are the ban of my summer existance
HoldOver Vlog we know that the jsb pellets are lights out accuracy, can we see other 25cal pellets in these FX airguns..h&n,polymags, eugen those pellets most of us use 4 hunting ..great info n video
Ted I saw a video where the guy painted the inside skirt of his pellets so scope camera could pick it up better and it worked very well. do you think this is something you could try for us to see in your scope cam videos. thanks for all your excellent videos i enjoy watching them.
Ted, I see you are still using JSB kings (25 grain). Thought you loved the MKII's 34 grain pellets? Thanks again for sharing, great video, just ordered a STX barrel from my Gen 1 impact.
Ted what range is that man? Is it a Private Range? ...OR... Is it a range that's actually open to The Public?? ...I ask, because ive never seen a range that looks/is anything like that one and Ive seen you go there in your videos MANY times but not once have I seen another person there... It looks really cool actually. I like how you can sit& inside that little building and shoot out that window.
I was in Salt Lake last week for work and had to go see those guys at UA. The Warcat is next. Thanks! Your video helped me make the X decision. So is that dual tank Impact yours or were you just playing with it at the UA shoot in June?
I always enjoy your reviews. I personally still like the bobcat, I was wondering if they are going to make a smooth twist X barrel for that in the near future do you know? Plus have you had a chance to try some of these 22 caliber or even 25 caliber slugs in these X barrels? I've been seeing that Huban MK II using these 22 caliber slugs putting out almost 80 foot pounds or more. Are those just for the Huban or could they be used in these smooth twist or X barrels
Well thanks t you I'm going broke lol. I have always wanted a high end bull-pup but kept convincing myself to not pull the trigger. Well after watching your videos and how excited you were with the Wildcat MK II compact I pulled the trigger and bought one and a Smooth Twist X. Can't wait to get it tomorrow. Love the videos ! Thanks for all the information. Also 1 quick ? are the FX and JSB 25g the same pellet?
I don't get the price they get for these, the upgraded barrel is $100 which is where the accuracy comes in, otherwise it's a cylinder and a valve to let a burst of air out. The chassis is, what it is. Any constructive feedback welcome.
There's a lot more to the accuracy than the barrel. Pellet speed is arguably more important because if it's too fast they destabilize and lose accuracy and if it's too slow they arc a lot. Fx ability to deliver very consistent and very high shot count on single fill is what makes them better than everyone. That doesn't include their trigger, regulators, adjustable power, adjustable hammer it's honestly hard to keep up with up with their innovation. Especially with the new Dreamline rifle soon to hit the market.
We have deer flies in the UK too, but called Horse flies or here in Scotland known as Cleggs, horrible wee beasties. Would love a Impact with the new barrel though :-)
Ted, been watching for years. Been drooling over pcp's ever since some of your very first videos. I've finally decided to sacrifice a powder burner I have to fund getting into the PCP world. I'm debating between the wildcat mk2 and the daystate huntsman with Huma. I understand they fill some what different niches but I want to small game hunt out to potentially 130 yards (depending on skill). And punch paper for groups, practice and entertainment. I understand you love FX, but if you had to choose between the two rifles I listed what would you choose? Both in .25 BTW. thank you for all the great content over the years.
Warcat! Warcat!Warcat! with a Thundercats T- Shirt! Got a sell me a little bit more Teddy B., U.A.'s asking premium. Keep up the good reviews and wear your helmet.(Safety First!)🏂
Ted holder is good at selling air rifle but once air rifle start to cost more then real guns there a problem when there not kill as much as a real gun. don't get me wrong love air rifles but man the cost is crazy 1400-1500 bucks or AR 15 for 500 bucks no brainier and kill more and bigger game..
You shoot your ar in your backyard whenever you want? There is much more moving parts and engineering in air guns. Not to mention firearms are more mass produced and more available. The finest firearms costs thousands of dollars, the finest air rifles also cost a thousand or 2 dollars.
What are your thoughts on the Daystate pulsar 25. Can you share some of you’re knowledge on this topic. Thank you love all of your videos, watch them all the time.
FX need to make a smooth twist X barrel for the older FX wildcat....I bought an FX wildcat 25 cal & two weeks later they came out with the FX wildcat mk2...needless to say i was freaking pissed...But i love my wildcat i just wish the made an smooth twist X barrel for it because it took me awhile to save up to get that gun without my old lady knowing...
Hey Ted, great video! Have an "easy" question....trying to setup Strelock Pro and need to know the twist rate for an Impact .25 using original Smooth Twist barrel...I am running into numbers from 1:16 all the way up to 1:50...do you know? Thanks!
Thx Ted - Nice demo - Now I have seen you use a double tank system on the impact - How the heck did you get it and whom made it for you and where do i get it as in NOW :) Second question for you (hope its ok) - I live in Denmark, Smooth twist X barrel to get is like the chance of the survival of a snowball in hell. I ordered 1 in i think it was april - Still none - I mean I could drive to Frederik in like 2 hours and get it off the factory if that was an option - But thats not legal but who the F...should it be this hard. Any suggestions?
X twist is just an other way of applying polygonal rifling. Any manufacturer providing polygonal rifling would offer the same benefit in non-sorting of pellets. Barrel twist rates regarding different grain pellets (or if they be slugs, bullets) now becomes the elephant in the room.
make sure the next video shows us plenty of the out of the tin performance. and a some different weights of pellets performance just a suggestion, glad to see your doing well
looks at tidy little gun and hitting those groups at 100 yrds with a .25 is pretty incredible mind you i bet the higher power helps rather than the 12ftlbs we have :)
Great video Ted. I love the new Wildcat, sorry Warcat. I think the new x twist barrels are better than the smooth twist barrels. Don't get me wrong, I love my Royale and all the other smooth twist rifles, but the new development from FX is better than the old.
RUclips will demonetize/flag his video and possibly ban his channel because they keep changing their policies based on their personal superficial biases.
Why did you not cover the RMAC ya know your thoughts. And yes I hate deer flies too they swarm around your head and when they bite it hurts like a b****.
I'm a believer of the Wildcat platform for hunting. It is just so well suited.
Thank you TED good info, i got into this sport because of you keep the videos coming.
So glad to see a video again from you Ted!!! Just a word of encouragement. Me and my dad have been looking to your videos for information and intertainment for at least 5 years now I would say. SO GLAD YOUR BACK TED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see you Ted. Thanks for the sneak peak. :-)
Glad to see you enjoying the WarCat. Couldn't wait for your new scope, so I went with an Aztec Emerald on mine.
I love you man. I shoot a .22 hatsan underlever and your videos are all i watch when im not.
Keep em coming Ted, lol, always enjoy watching your clips. Your opinions are greatly respected!
Trick for deerflies. Hold your hand slightly above your head and the flies will land on it where you can smack em. The flies are drawn to the highest point on your body (no reason that I can think of). You can also attach fly paper to an old cap and let em land on it. Deerflies are the ban of my summer existance
That’s a pretty sweet looking gun brother glad to see you back!
👍😎
Smooth twist X it is! Glad to see you back on the air, hope you are enjoying life a little more.
Great video Ted. Thanks for all the testing and sharing of the results.
I have been holding off on buying the WARCAT. Hoping you would test the ST vs STX. Thanks for taking the time. As always your info is very useful.
Expect to see much more of this gun. :)
Great to see your videos again Ted !
Especially since I'm thinking seriously about buying one! Then I'll see it a lot!
HoldOver Vlog we know that the jsb pellets are lights out accuracy, can we see other 25cal pellets in these FX airguns..h&n,polymags, eugen those pellets most of us use 4 hunting ..great info n video
Need a Ted B. Discount code please!!!
@@bigearl8687 do you need a license to own one of these airguns? in Canada anything over 500fps requires firearm license
Ted is an amazing shot. I personally believe he could shoot ANY airgun and make it accurate..... BUT that gun looks great, wish I could get one
New gun and new video! Nice shooting!
The man the legend is back great video ted
Ted I saw a video where the guy painted the inside skirt of his pellets so scope camera could pick it up better and it worked very well. do you think this is something you could try for us to see in your scope cam videos. thanks for all your excellent videos i enjoy watching them.

That gun looks really awesome
Yeah,Ted is back
That looks like the start of a very professional mustache... nice gun too
Nice new gun... can you use that barrel and liner on the previous version of Wildcat? And what distance you recon for scope sight in? Thanks
Freaking RUclips....they don’t send me a notification for Ted’s video even though I have the bell icon activated, 🤦♂️
RUclips is a bunch of snowflake liberals they hate guns
Ted what range is that man? Is it a Private Range? ...OR... I share your hatred for them damn flies, damn blood suckin vampires! Great info and video, keep up the awesome entertaining work!
Hi Ted, are we going to see any more of your spearfishing adventure ?
I was in Salt Lake last week for work and had to go see those guys at UA. The Warcat is next. Thanks! Your video helped me make the X decision. So is that dual tank Impact yours or were you just playing with it at the UA shoot in June?

Miss your shooting and info about shooting videos. Hurry back.👍
good stuff, came here for the deer flies, staying for the airguns....j/k. keep it up
we love you and your videos
I don't miss those Deer Flys. They hurt like hell! They're like small birds too which really increases the fear factor haha
Good info Ted! Here it's the scorpions more than the flies. GRRRRR!!!
KnifeMaker
Great seeing a new post!
Sweet gun!

Ted, you should place the O-rings at the same position on both liners. Preferably at the anti-nodes of vibration.
1: 01, somebody should get a trophy for hitting the snow fence so many times.
I don't get the price they get for these, the upgraded barrel is $100 which is where the accuracy comes in, otherwise it's a cylinder and a valve to let a burst of air out. The chassis is, what it is. Any constructive feedback welcome.
Sounds like you should jump into building them and get rich!

just ordered a Wildcat MKII compact from Mike at Utah airguns, excited to try it out
Deer flies sound similar to our March Flies in Tasmania.

So good HoldOver
Warcat! Warcat!Warcat! with a Thundercats T- Shirt! Got a sell me a little bit more Teddy B., U.A.'s asking premium. Keep up the good reviews and wear your helmet.(Safety First!)🏂
Would you take the warcat and use it in a benchrest competition?

Ted, What do you thing the optimal velocity will be for the STX as compared to the ST barrel in .25?
Thanks for the great job on the video!

Elephants remember. Just so ya know.
Subtle threats are always appreciated

hi Ted; i have a fx streamline line .25 cal can i make it a smooth twist x air gun thanks for all your vid's
Ted, you seem to prefer the .30 x 700mm Impact barrel for 100 yards ?
Ted, your looking tougher now-a-days. You been working out or what?
Hey Ted, are you gonna do the review on the umarex gauntlet?
Can you push slugs through the new gun and barrel..
Did Ted ever tell us the whole story about the spearfishing videos? (If he has I'm sorry for beating a dead horse)
RUclips will demonetize/flag his video and possibly ban his channel because they keep changing their policies based on their personal superficial biases.
Beating a dead sea horse.
👏👏👏
An Oh Henry shirt..... That's suspicious. Where did you get that.
I just bought the wildcat mk3, comes with superior liner, is the superior actually superior to STX?
I like it.
Hey Ted. Did you install with or with out O rings?
May favorite air gunner this year I will get a beeman qb chief pcp do a review on it plz
Where is the Crown??
Hi Ted how do i find out the twist rate in my .22 Wildcat MK1?
Hey ted I just bought an Benjamin Marauder.22 and I was wondering how do you tube it ?
Any information on indexing the smooth twist barrel after cleaning ?
What ya been listening to lately Ted.
Is that the Lodi gun club?
Hey Ted, can the barrel in my 400Royal be converted to that STX barrel ?
If I have a wildcat now, what do I need to upgrade to smooth twist x?
Just the new liner?
I wonder if I can fit a smooth twist x into my Airforce Talon.
Hi .....Who is the best wildcat or impact?
Thanks
: ) Love it Thanks
good shirt
Why did you not cover the RMAC ya know your thoughts. And yes I hate deer flies too they swarm around your head and when they bite it hurts like a b****.
What are you listening to?
Have you shot the Umarex Gauntlet yet?
He just hasn't been posting much.
Why would he shoot that piece a crap. He's got top notch fx's!!!
Alex Zamora 🤣
👊🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻 show .
I don't run when shooting targets cause the higher heartbeat makes it a harder to aim :) but I'm not Ted, he can do it :D
Omg
Heart beat is important. Fire between the beats.
Have you checked out the "Bug-A-Salt" gun yet? Perfect for shooting those deer flies..... and soooo much fun!
Trip Cunningham I have a blast with mine, I have the Lawn and garden model and I took the safety off of it, a great mod if you haven't done it yet
scubajeeper1 Oh yes, plus I have the "Bug Beam" laser sight on my Lawn & Garden.
Should show the target paper while shooting, otherwise anyone can do that
Hi Ted. Huro again
Ted - have you checked out AirArmsHuntingSA? Maybe you could go varmint hunting South African style with him. You all seem to have a lot in common.
Your kidding right? They are good friends.
wow.. early views!
if want air gunners to enjoy the rifles make them affordable..
There are other options such as cars u can get a BMW or a Camry. There is a big market for both
you can take a cheap airgun and stretch or replace the spring to double the power, just needs decent accuracy and a scope
You got that right. You better have a good job to buy that gun
Deer flies suck!
What kind of dbad thumbs down one of your videos?...
This is essentially a sexed-up WildCat, right?
Ted, please quit your day job, divorce the wife, (just kidding) move out of the burbs, grow your hair, and devote yourself to full time airgun vids !
