Hi Ted fellow ADHD guy. Folks don’t know that we have a proven ability to hyper focus on one single thing when interested. I won EBR 17 sport class and immediately went to your table to thank you. I learned from your knowledge in your videos, “hyper focusing” on every instructional detail you offered. Would never have won without it! You were very gracious and told me it really meant a lot to you. I think your hyper, dig into it, focus is maybe why we all learned so much from you! So spin, and flip around, talking as fast all you want. I get crap for it all the time! I tell people when I am looking through that scope I am miles away from everything around me and after my shot it seems like a little journey back to my bench and people around me. I believe it helps us to be good focused shooters and competitors. Besides we all love your energy! It’s one area that I think gives us a slight advantage. So glad to see you posting! Keith Comey.
Ted I have been watching your channel since the beginning of time! You seem as if your holding back some emotions there...I hope you and your family are all ok?....either that or it was really really cold there lol! Make sure you keep yourself on point buddy love the new scope and rifle look forward to seeing how you get on with both. Again stay safe and keep up the great work.
Good to see an upload on this channel again Ted, thanks for the sneak peak at the new Impact, looks sweet! Edit regarding the upcoming vid on your scope and reticle: dont stress over editing it down, the longer the better!
Thank you Ted great video and very helpful and like you I like a simple scope without all the extras getting on target right away is important. Stay safe and healthy
I ordered this exact scope after seeing your Video, I purchased from Chad @ Lethal Airguns in West Virginia. I started out with a Maurader like you did and I was hooked, I just purchased my 3rd impact in .25 with power plenum. As always you are a wealth of information, Heep up the good work.
Ted love your video's Years ago I bought a Hatsan 9mm so I could quietly hunt coyote. The rifle was not quiet enough for my liking. It shot at 702fps with 81gr JSB's it was clipping the inside of the moderator so I removed the end cap. It fired at 755 fps. the accuracy was amazing at 75 yrds and 110 yrds. I could tell with more velocity that the 9mm could really be a great round for bigger game. Too expensive for serious squirrel hunting or target matches. Now there is a multi shot air rifle with the power. Not for every one but for some we have been waiting. Thank you for the early report.
I want to start Coyote hunting in Michigan. Way too many of those things around here. I have been waiting for this gun for that job, (my first PCP). I have a bet with a friend of mine that we can take several with a loud electronic call in one batch, hoping they will not be able to hear the gun. I am almost more worried about the noise from the side lever than the shot. It might be too loud out of the box, but it looks like there are some aftermarket suppressors, (that the pellet won't hit), that may do the trick. I have a hatsan .30 cal break barrel. There are some quality issues with that gun too, and I found hatsan service to be terrible, (can't get parts from them if you don't feed your computer your credit card, and I will not).
Ted it's great to see you back, it's awesome to see how passionate you are about your new scope. Keep up the good work and hope you and your family are well!
nice seeing the kids interested in what dad does even impromptu :) hell of a gun that bud cant wait to see it shoot. hope you are all well and safe over there..
Too much Coffee & Sugar ?? Or just a lack of Outdoors and Shooting ?? Either way Ted, you’re totally ‘tuned’ in this Vlog. Great to see you again.😂🏴
I am glad you are doing well. Life is hard right now and is about to get a whole lot harder for a lot of us. For many, this will be the worst time of their lives. It is good to see that at least for some, life continues somewhat normally, work and play balanced and present as before. Cheers mate.
Excelente!!! Excelente!!!! Excelente!!!!! Excelente Video. Apoyo Total a su Canal!!! ✌️🙂👏👏👏👏👏
So? (Ted?) When are we going to get the range time review of the War Cat? All we ever saw was the unboxing video when you were nursing that fresh injury. We wanna know how it shoots, how it kills pests! Congrats on the launch of the Element. It's good seeing the excitement from both you and Matt. Looking forward to learning more about this too. Don't get emotionally overloaded while helping deal with the current mess, keep yourself as rested and grounded as you can.
Ted please help me decide I thought my decision was made I wanted the 30 cal. Cause of everything you said about it. Now they come out with this .35 can. I hope you tested it by now please share with me the out come so I can place my order for MY IMPACT. PLEASE LET ME KNOW TED.
I have read that because of the power and complexity of the FX Impacts, they require more maintenance and have more issues with leaks than other airguns. I know that you are sponsored by FX so I will assume you have only positive things to say about them. 😉
No problems with my Impact yet. My Wildcat .25 was bought 1-2016 it has over 10,000 rounds through it no issues at all. My Airforce Condor .25 8 years old not one problem. Ernest Row and Meathead have posted lots of video's on how to tear down the impact and change things. I have adjusted mine a little very simple. Don't be afraid. I have unscrewed the air bottle drained the plentium adjusted the regulator the hammer spring and the valve easy peasy.
I have a 2 year old WildCat 22 and its never failed me. To the point my 25cal Impact arrived a few days ago. It shoots clover leaf holes at yds out of the box...
Great to see a new video from you Ted. Congratulations on the new Element scope line too. Impact 35 caliber? What would be the practical use for a large cal like this? Question: You are considered much higher than an intermediate shooter...come on Ted! Do you use a scope level? Do you think it is necessary to use one for shorter range shooting, such as 30 yrds? Looking forward to the review of both the new Impact, and the new Element scope. Thank you. Geo from MI
@@HoldOverVlog haha ted, don't worry about it. It SNOWED today here in southern Ontario. We were supposed to see the Snowbirds (similar to Blue Angels) fly over today as a moral booster but the SNOW turned them around... 🙄 Do more videos!!
Gotta love kids. This video has to be sped up 1.25x or something. You have a lot of energy but this video was a bit extra 😝 Reminds me of back when I was “helping” myself a bit to get through the day lol. Sheeshhhh 🤪
Sorry Ted I went with the mil. It’s a great scope I put it on my Bergara.22 b14 R. And my 6.5 creedmoor. The scope is worth every penny. Can’t wait to try out the Helix and Titan. Great job. Element optics. B
You did great Ted on the Nexus scope however I am still undecided about the .35cal impact my .30cal is hard to beat but I would like a bit more knockdown power but I hate to lose the precision so I am some what straddled on the fence and I tried reading between the lines or lack of lines from you pertaining to the .35 and I think I have my answer thanks
Is the FX Impact your favorite/go to airgun? Do you use or like the Wildcat Mk2 type of bull pup? The impact is so much longer than the wildcat though. Thoughts on the two both pro and con in a comparison video would be most excellent. I’m sitting on the fence and could go either way but insider/owner shooter thoughts on it would help make a better informed decision. Thanks.
Hi Ted. Lot of a gun , looks like 2meters long !:) The scope is not my price range :(( anyways nice vid !!!! Oh, one more thing. Can you help me out with a problem I have?? I bought a HUMA reg for my .22 Bobcat MK II but I can not find a video wich show´s me wich way to putt in the reg !! The HUMA´s page just show the Boss , but this gun is complete different to my .22 Bobcat!!!! So , should be the pressure number site point to the trigger or to pressure gauge !!??? Thanks so much for answering !!!!!!!!! Greetings from Norway
Ted I just ordered my FX Impact .35 cal. I want to get the Element Titan but I just noticed FX does not make their no limit rings in a .34mm What did you use?
Just waiting for my Titan . I went for the clean mil reticle as I don't like clutter in my scope as I usually use dialing. Can't wait for it to come , it's going to look so good on my Impact.
HUH!?! That things nutty. 77gr at 900fps is kinda ridiculous for most hunting situations I reckon. Hope people don't buy it just because they want the most "power".
I'm really glad the Nexus isn't made it China. Unfortunately, I hear the coming models will be made there. I really wish you and your business partners would reconsider.
I saw your video and you were about to go out and shoot the .35 so what did you thought. I swear I won't tell anyone what you say good or bad. Promise you give you my word of honor.
Ted quick question, how long we’ll it be that the Feds shut down these big bore air guns ? Do you feel the manufacturer’s are going to suffer in the long run ? Just a thought would hate to see no mail orders, no moderates etc!
Richard Ness I spent a lot of time thinking about this, And I go back-and-forth quite a bit. My current take on this issue is as follows…. I think as long as it requires so much intellectual (and financial) effort to get into this hobby, that will dissuade the usual bunch of morons from using Airguns to do bad things.
Hey Ted! Thanx for being you, you're always an inspiration, even if you take long to let us into your thoughts and home!
Great video Buddy ...Fastest unboxing EVER ! Way to go 🍻
Welcome back Ted Lets see some more Video's!!! Congrats to you and the team on the riflescopes!
Unboxing is never as exciting as a shoot but I'll take any content from you! Thanks Ted!
I have yet to see one clip you do that doesn't leave me smiling or laughing! Keep it up Ted, including the child related interruptions, funny as hell.

Woop woop, Ted is back!
liking the unedited video ... keeping it real but not rough without the editing ... great job Ted!!
we need you to clout some pigeons with that 0.35
Dude your killing us , we expected feathers to fly 🤣
Not likely to see that on this channel. All smackin' goes on my main channel. This one is just for "fireside chats". :)

Can't wait to see you do some pesting with that thing! Also, need that barrel change kit ASAP.
Man this channel rocks
Ted, double, triple, quadruple! Nice uploads.
Excellent! Another good bro...
Nice job, Ted. Looking forward to seeing your new scope in action. Love your vids and thank you!
This .35 cal should answer Ted's question of can a starling be too dead! Nice to hear the excitement back in your voice!
150ft-lbs?!? Isn't that greater than standard .22 LR?
Dang!

Wow look at how long that thing is and it’s a bulpup!!! Can you imagine how long this would be if it was a traditional style rifle???
That’s what she said!!! 😂
Probably as long as an Airforce Texan
Well atleast with .35 he never needs to pickup a dead starling again. The kitties might miss their sparrows though
Hi Ted. Lets go. Just post man.

Always worth the wait. Awesome as always and I’m a Daystate and AA man, oh and soon to be Element man.
Cant wait for the scope video

Bad. Surgery was cancelled due to SARS-COV2. Thanks for asking, though. 👊😁
Sorry to hear that bud
Always running great gear. I'm going for the Leishy2 this year for my big spendy airgun. I like your varmint sniping videos.
Cool video as always. So would you say 80 foot pounds is an absolute max for a 22 to retain accuracy? Even with slugs?
Yo he's back!
That is how you know you are a true Midwestern ya keep talking after you say good bye!!
Ted, love your words of wisdom! Thinking about selling my 30 cal boss and upgrading to the mk2 impact 35 cal. Any thoughts?
