I thought that you should use the channel up button instead of the power button. That’s what worked for me.

Maybe if you are only using components and don't want to use the smart TV feature or connect to Wi-Fi it would be sufficient but😏 only makes volume, power and input work... Can't use select/ok button (huge deal) or any other.
