This video is a mess lmao I had a very different idea for what I was going to do, but as it turns out, I don't know how to do the thing I was going to do that I thought was going to be simple and easy, so instead you're getting this lol
I'm very happy with the audio itself, so just pretend the video is like, way better than it really is.
For the lyrics, I kind of wanted to do something that sounded slightly southern gothic??? Thus "a-swaying" was born, and although it's a bit of an odd translation choice, personally I think it worked out well.

with the original lyrics, it’s very obvious that the dancing corpses are encouraging suicide. very sinister stuff. but with this version, that message is less obvious; it feels to me more like the acceptance of death as it is. A meeting with the dead and befriending them, dancing with them in their melancholic song. “living is only delaying your decaying” is honestly a true statement in my mind, so the dead in this version feel more trustworthy rather than sinister. this is the only way i wish to read this song now, so thank you :)
