I agree. Men use women to distract themselves from the inner work it takes to become better human beings and partners, and then they wonder why their relationships never work out. Yes my ex husband of 18 yrs was a serial cheater and I’m happy being single and celibate for a few yrs now. I’m so done with dating and I’m healing and enjoying reading the Bible, running 5 miles a day and getting back to the things I loved before I married him. No drama! No more worrying where he is and his disrespect. God got me out of it and now the ex of course has jumped into a new relationship and I’m so happy it no longer my problem. I let it go and give it to God. Ladies please stop giving these men access to your bodies because they use us to numb their pain and do not care who they destroy. Most married men as you may have heard are all in the DMs and on dating sites. It’s sad reality and the single men are expecting women to settle for their shenanigans and put up with all kinds of mess. Let’s love ourselves and close our legs. Let these men heal.

As a gay man, it’s no better because men want to use me and it sickens me. I think that having a life partner is selfish because you are too insecure as a single that you think that having a life partner would repair damage that you need to repair. People have life partners for selfish reasons ranging from companionship, through sexual satisfaction and to financial security which are all wants. I recently made a video explaining the selfishness behind wanting a life partner because it’s funny how people consider single/unmarried people selfish when it is actually the other way around.
