Thank you so much for this wonderful video, Jenni!
This routine is awesome! As a truck driver, this hits all my weak and tight areas. My wrists and shoulders thank you.
Just discovered content, I am blown away and excited to use the info you & Tom share. Such incredible work - thank you!
Love to hear that! We love to share!!
Get the ebooks. They're tremendous
Sherrie...I feel the same
Yeah I enjoy this channel too but I couldn't find anything about their education or relevant training on their website. The website makes it look like they have no training at all and they're just popular. Which is a bit fishy, if I'm being honest.
@@dilaudum1075 Doing these exercises is always your choice. Enthusiasm and drive to do good for yourself is one thing, to do the same for others is admirable. For Tom, Jenni, and their team to share their experiences is a way to a pain-free life. And THAT is what's important.
Awesome - this content has been game changing for me as late 40s woman. After of summer of this channel I can imagine going back to running again. Mobility is the foundation I needed to build back up.
Love to hear this!!! Keep it up!
Went down a rabbit hole of binge watching Tom Morrison shorts last night, but it was too late to exercise (insomnia and dealing with it incorrectly by doomscrolling - yes that is me). Got up today excited to try something out, and this was a great starting point. Made me realise how unhealthy my back is and how weak my wrists and neck are - I have to be careful moving my neck or extending my wrists because it's so easy for me to pull a muscle or trigger nerve pain in my hands. My wrists hurt all the damn time. And doing that upper back movement, my back was crunching and cracking and making me wonder if I'm actually 23 like I think I am.
The differentiation between flexibility and strength is really helpful because I'm able to pick out which joints hurt because they're weak and which joints hurt because they're stiff (and which are a mixture of both). My hips and wrists are super flexible but weak, my neck is weak and inflexible.
Finished off feeling very mobile and keen to keep moving. Really appreciate this content
Fantastic!! It all compounds the more you practice too!! 😄
I have been following this routine on and off for quite some time now, and I must tell you. It is really really effective. Yesterday, I was going to watch a movie with some friends and for a stupid reason fell down. It didn’t really hurt much. I don’t even remember where I fell and where it got hurt. That’s how effective it is!
Fantastic!!!
This 63 year old has just tried and loved this 😊
(Edit: there's a question at the end:) Wow - I feel almost embarrassed- but I found this yesterday, thought "why not, can't be too hard, it's good meditation" and failed to do even a single second of the side plank- accepted momentary defeat (I was quite tired, it had been a rough day) and resolved to try again today... now I followed along today. The exercises were lovely. Just what I was looking for. But man I was really shocked- I mean I knew I was behind on my fitness lately, but a 20yo person should not struggle with this that much, no? - nevermind age is no indicator, I have had a lot of devastating knee issues as a kid, I know how to physically feel like an "old person" and it's not exclusive to old people... I guess this is the final call to action to do something about my health- on that note thanks for the great routine, I shall come back to this daily until I graduate to more advanced stuff-
one question: any suggestions on adaping the not-rotating core exercise (lifting limbs diagonally) to something that takes off the pressure on my knee/shin? My bones and nerves are kind of messed up there and I can't do the exercise properly for the side I most desperately need it on because I can't put my bodyweight on the shin...😅
Stumbled upon this today, wonderful for my morning ❤!!!
Thanks Team inspiring and motivating and Free!! Ive had tight painful hips for years and finally someone who actually has routines for where I am at!
Built for life. Exactly. Thx for sharing! 🤙🏽😎🤗
Thank you for posting. You helped fix my hip pain, which kept me from walking or sitting comfortably for over 3 weeks.
Thank you, Queen Jenni 👸
Outstanding!
Thanks Jenni! (and Tom!) :)
Thankyou!!
Great job..thanks
Love this. Thanks Jenni.
I have the next 2 weeks off as a staycation and have looking to build some habits. This is perfect for my morning routine.
Compliments SMM perfectly.
Fantastic!!
These are great
Amazing!
I'm so excited I found this channel. I have should and knee problems. I have already found relief in just a few days of stretching. Thank you some much!!!❤
Fantastic news!!!
What an incredible stretch. Haven't felt some of those areas in ages
Awesome!
having been lucky enough to be fit enough to play sports and exercise in general, this channel is has helped me with mobility ten fold, got into routine of targeting the areas i feel need it most helps... big thumbs from Scotland to all the crew👍
Love to hear that!!
This was lovely thank you so much ❤
You’re welcome 😊
What a fabulous hip mobility workout!
Thankyou!
This was great! I've been an athlete for many years from weightlifting to yoga to aerial (trapeze, silks, lyra, etc) and while I've always been good about stretching and maintaining my flexibility I've just recently discovered the importance of mobility. It's like a missing puzzle piece is clicking into place!
Ah awesome! Love to hear that!!
Awesome
Did it once and I feel incredible. Bookmarking it
Awesome 😄
Great video!!!
Thank you!!
This is brilliant Jenny thank you. But why can I do a deep squat so easily but that side plank, near damn impossible, couldn’t even lift myself up🤦🏻♀️
Glad to found you guys!
Love to hear it!! Anything you’re struggling with specifically just leave a comment! 😄
@@TomMorrison Oh yes. I have a small neck hump. It's better now since I've lost a few kilos, but it still bothers me. I've done various exercises with unsatisfactory results. But maybe (probably) I'm not consistent with these exercises. Perhaps you could make a video about this.
We have a video about Forward Head Posture on our channel that'd be really useful for you to watch!
I didn't like it the first time or the second time, what I liked was the no-nonsense no-sugar commentary with it. Now I'm doing it about 5 times a week and I enjoy it. Even the parts I don't (my wrists are questioning my sanity)😁
Fantastic!! Well done! 😄
9;46 gorgeous stretch. great advice here

When is the optimal time of day to do this routine? I was thinking of doing this in the evening after work, or possibly before bedtime. Thank you.
Awesome info! Thank you. Would you mind sharing info on stretching the feet. It is a painful area and seems to be the reason the elderly fall so often 🙏🏼
This is a great one!

What are the regressions for ankle flexion and deep squats?
Beautiful content!!! Do you have a video on tennis elbow and golf elbow?
Yep!

Wow
Ok, so nothing against Tom, but I can't imagine his voice being nearly as soothing as Jenni when trying to calmly stretch. He seems much more bombastic and over the top, which is great for motivating, not so much for relaxing, lol
Couldn't agree more! 🙌
I was also really struck by what you said about preparing our bodies for life. Like, training our neuromuscular system to deal with any possibility really, REALLY seems to be ultimately relaxing, because now I am no longer subconsciously worrying that, and please pardon the phrase, if I fall I can't get back up.
I am a new subscriber and so thankful I've found this. It's a bit overwhelming and wondering where to begin? Any advice would be appreciated. I have some back and shoulder issues and would love to have more range of motion in my body.
Our 7 Days of Awesome series is always a great intro to what we do 😄
tommorrison.uk/7-days-of-awesome
This is very nice... But i dont get it. What should i prioritise regarding excersising. There are so many things one can do. Dynamic stretching, lifting, cardi, mobility, this thing thay you are showiny, pilatis etc etc. i feel so overwhelmed
yeah this is just a great one to get you going on the morning or on a rest day. In terms of exercise you've got to find something you enjoy! That could be sport, running, going to the gym, group classes etc. But no matter what you choose you should still include mobility work into your routine 💪🏻
Is there an easier version if you can’t do most of these ?
When is the best time to do this? For example, before or after a Hiit workout or weight training?
I would do it before a workout.
Can the crunch one be eliminated ?
At what part of the day would you reccomend these stretches
Morning time is great! If you can get a habit of moving first thing in the day it’s such a win!
Thank you for making and sharing! I hear / feel crunching in my neck during the neck stretches. It doesn't hurt or bother me. I'm more curious as to what may be happening in my body. Any thoughts?
Generally, if it's not painful it should get better with practice! 😁 but if not, go to see a doctor or physio! It's often just bits & bobs moving over & into each other if there's tightness in your joints
@@TomMorrison thank you for responding. I've been telling my family about how helpful your videos are
My knees hurt even when on a yoga mat. What should i do lol
I love this. I wish there was time stamps tho
00:08 Breathe
02:41 Move your neck
04:38 Move your upper back

if i cant sit on my feet, and the ball and band of my foot feel like they are going to cramp, does that mean i need better knee and ankle flexibility?
Could do, could mean you're feet are just a bit tight from shoes, etc! You can just gently practice being in that position (without pushing too far) and see if it improves 😁
Core strengthening... what core? Everything locks up when doing this sit up core strengthening exercise. My neck, hips, lats, and pecs are all tight again!
The rest of your body could be trying to "help" by tightening up! If you practice more static movements like this one it'll help build up some strength for you 💪

@TomMorrison in my head that's what I look like after a follow along 😂. But seriously, thank you for the suggestion I'll add it to my 3 day alternating routine it looks effective.. I exercise twice daily with 6 different follow alongs over 3 days. Every 7th day I rest/ heal/ lick my wounds
From wood to a semi elastic primordial wood journey has began ,i wonder what do i do with my muscular stiff legs xddd
brilliant! You can try this one for your legs! ruclips.net/video/lQgy4820wiU/видео.html
Getting lots of pops & cracks doing the shoulder rotates. 😢
Keep at it! It will reduce 💪🏼
Just to note, the first link to the e-book is broken.
Oh thanks! Will get that sorted!
When the student is ready the teacher appears .
At about 10:22 there was some type of blurred-out alien creature that walked through the shot.
That’s Timmy!
@@TomMorrison I knew it; you two are harboring alien life forms in your apartment. Well I hope "Timmy" doesn't have any alien viruses that will escape and cause an extinction-level event...
😂😂 literally just watched an episode of Rick & Morty like that
Ok for over 65's🕺?
Yep!!
I cant even sit in that position smh!
Holy crap I didn’t know you could talk. 😅
I'm NOT a "guy" ! Let's get those pronouns right!
Go away
@@konjikoza 😂😂😂Everybody else wants their " pronouns" right!😂😂😂
No, no we don't
Guys = a neutral term. Sad sod
Awesome
Thanks so much!
@@TomMorrisonnoooo, thank you , for real 🙏
Nice one. Can this be added to the SSM follow through videos.
