I did this flexibility routine for about a week, and I already feel my joints getting loser. Everything feels easier and whenever I workout, I feel like I can do more. Flexibility matters. Thanks Tom. 😇
Tom, just wanted to say that you are 1. great at what you do 2. real contrast to the usual obnoxious body-flashing RUclips coaches 3. an audio-visual representation of any guy's friend who they're proud to have.
Love your "follow along" videos. Each movement is fully explained and adaptable to a wide range of abilities. ...also more motivating to follow a video than to simply work from a written list!
I’ve always been extremely inflexible. Recently I went to the doctor for chronic lower back pain and he said he’s never seen some as inflexible as me. Since then I’ve decided to start stretching morning and night, every day. Not only has my back pain subsided but I feel like my overall health is improving. Tom, I found your videos and started with V1 and have worked through them...they’re so great! I’m so thankful you shared these with the world! I feel like V2 and V3 are too complicated for me so I stick to V1. My hamstrings are extremely tight so some things are still really tough to do. Any recommendations for that would be much appreciated! 👊🏼💪🏼🤙🏼
Been doing the 15 minute beginner routine every other day for a few months and now this comes out! Perfect upgrade for me to progress to some more difficult stuff.
I’ve been doing these follow alongs for around 6 months. It started painfully, but now it’s a joy. Love your channel and my hamstrings love you too. Pancakes a far ways off but I’ll get there one day.
I just discovered your channel about a week ago, so I’ve not been watching your videos for very long. (Love it, btw 🙌🏼) If it’s not too much trouble, if you continue to make these follow along videos, would you mind briefly explaining the stretches - what they do, why they are helpful, and what not? I love these videos, but I’m always wondering “why is ‘this’ a good stretch, what is it doing?” Does that make sense? I’m recovering from a recent foot injury, and as I’m learning how to better take care of my body to prevent future injury, it’s nice to know the “why’s” so I can get to know my body better. I hope I communicated that clearly. You’re cool. I like you. Thanks for the videos! ✌🏼
I found this channel looking for body weight exercies during quarantine. Now i've made a habit of watching the "follow along" videos nearly every day! I'm in my 30's and things are pretty stiff now but this has really started to give me some movement back. Fantastic stuff Tom!!
This might be the best one yet for me. The amount of time spent in each position is perfect, and it gives me a bit of extra time to get into the position in the first place (you make it look easy, but for the average Joe it is not).
Absolutely love these videos, extremely well polished. The only suggestion I have is to explain the areas of impact of each stretch before going into it. Following from home, when you specify where we should feel the tension release, it really helps me know that I'm doing it correctly. I try to alternate V1, 2 and 3 each week so I'm not always doing the same. Gotta say that second to last couple of stretches here where you the shoulder to the ground and legs wide open is a killer. Love, love, love this channel.
I've been addicted to these follow-alongs and was able to take some of the moves to do my own stretching routines using a timer on the days that I want to target my tight spots and can't watch these videos. This follow along was by far the hardest I've done haha, I hope you keep making these. Thanks so much!
Seriously thank you! I've been doing various stretch videos for 8 years and this is the best one I've done. I feel like every muscle got really stretched and my whole body feels loose. I want to do this one every day, it was wonderful. The best one I've found and there are a LOT of them!
thanks for (almost)a full year with good ass stretches and support! been using the previous ones for my imobile hipflexor, but this one destroys my inner tighes... love it
Been doing your 15 min beginners routine since lockdown began, my sciatica has got much better and I'm feeling great. Time to try something a bit harder now I'm thinking? Great videos- Thanks!
A few years ago I was unable to walk without an inlay in my shoes because my hip was in pain without it. My boyfriend recommended this video to me and since then I can walk without an inlay. I do it once a week and it changed my life, so thank you very much
Hi Tom body weight Warrior fan here. Just love all your all your demos and videos ...You've really inspired me to get back into flexibility again .....just one thing u might want to include a demo after your pancake and splits routine ....I was heavily into Gymnastics and martial arts and always got groin injury after routines ....and this was simply by not swivelling my hips clockwise and anti clockwise after coming out of the box and front splits but especially the box splits .....just thought u would maybe find that relevant.....but power to you bro. ......I'm 45 and my flexibility is almost as it was when I was 18-19 .....so just want to thank you very much ..God bless for all the great work and inspiring work your doing.Paul from Scotland 🇬🇧
omg, my hips feel loose now! thank you for this! we care so much stress in our hips, and lately I couldn't find the right stretches to release it. I'm glad I found this. I feel sooooooo much better right now
I been doing the v1 stretches for a month and I have had LITERALLY only three days of bad pain yet not as bd for me to take a muscle relaxant. I been a month without analgesics! I’m feeling ready today to start the strengthening routine in trybe app. I been looking for an effective routine to help me with my body Mechanics issues for 15 years. I finally found it. Simple effortless but SO effective. Thank you, man!!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZED BY THE ADDITION OF RESISTANCE BURSTS, holy shit I cannot believe how much more flexible I got in five seconds. My quads are SOOO tight from a workout and the first grab of my foot to stretch them was intense, then I did the pressing of foot pulses, and in no time my foot was touching my butt. Bravo, you are an awesome instructor. I love your mobility and flexibility routines and post them to facebook every time.
I have been following along for the last month. I am already seeing and feeling flexibility that i foolishly thought i had lost to my younger self. The progress is addicting, bring on the next challenge! I am so glad for these videos Tom. All the best to all the bodyweight warriors.
Really, really good. What an excellent instructor. Followed this one & no.1 before ( couldn't do all the stretches, cos of bad left leg) and felt the stretches everywhere he said. Lots of them, first time stretches for me, but can feel how they work & how I'll be able to progress. Fantastic tutorials! My everyday go tos for the next few months! Keep up the great 👍 work!
your flexibility routines are great! I am really focused on becoming more flexible and your videos have been super helpful! Hoping to be able to do a split by summer. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Absolutely love these follow alongs, As an absolute beginner in terms of stretching and mobility I have noticed massive differences in my joints and muscles over a consistent few months, Thank you for you guidance and expertise, I’m sure I speak for many when I say we are grateful. 👌
I feel like I have been trough something special after your stretching routines. It’s amazing how it turly works even after the first time. I dont belive that we all got acess to it for free. Those routines feels like healing.
I just recently found you. Thank you so much! I will be using your beginner videos until my body is ready for more flexibility. You have a great way of explaining the moves. I wanted a flexibility routine without any philosophy 😊
These exercises helped me not only to improve my physical flexibility, but my emotional flexibility, I feel great. Thanks Tom for sharing you knowledge. Ly. ♥️
I used to dance as a hobby when I was a kid and I've never been flexible enough to be good. Now being 20 I'm finally starting to understand why I never got there, I was doing the stretching wrong and no one told me! Thanks to your routines I'm now getting the most flexible I've ever been. Thank you so much! ❤
I love the hip stretches in this video! My hips tend to get tight which ends up hurting my lower back. My hips feel great after completing this video. Thank you!
So far so good. Please keep updating new videos. After having a break from my stretching practices, your videos made me back! I recommend everyone especially in these corona lockdown days, super good!!!
this is my fave beginner routine. I was wondering if you had ever considered doing intermediate or advanced follow alongs? I am able to modify things to suit my level and you do a great job of recommending how to make positions more challenging
Thank you Tom. Follow your instruction made me feel extremely comfortable when getting muscles pain after gym. Do the stretchs also really helpful for my mental health.
I am ankylosing spondylitis patient and have been doing the first one for a couple week. That helped me a lot for spine stretching. I'm sure this will be helpful too. I will be grateful if you do especially a spine stretching workout. Thank you :)
E V Incredible results bro. My stress levels are sooooo low now, and my grades are higher than they’ve ever been. My chronic knee pain is gone, and my sexual performance got better too. I started off my doing the beginner routine every day. Once I could do every stretch with no resistance, I moved onto the 1st 20 minute routine. I just did this one, and it seems to be really focused on opening the hips, which is perfect, because that’s exactly what I needed!! You’re the best Tom!!
claimamanjacu Nope, just in the morning. I do it before I do anything else. I wake up, brush my teeth so my breath is fresh during the breathing portion of the stretch, then I unroll my mat and start the video. It gives me more energy than a cup of coffee, and is a great start to my day.
I love these videos, because as a very muscular/active dancer, I need flexibility, but most follow-along videos are only by non-muscular cheerleader type girls. You are the much-needed alternative, especially for boys and men (like my dancer brother) who need follow-alongs built for different body types.
Amazing! In your videos you always bring new ways to stretch from the popular ones and they reallly work , I have watched you every morning to follow along when I jump out of bed 😊
14:22 - when I tried to reach out for my leg I got a cramp in the hamstring and the dorsal :o never had a cramp in dorsal before, I did the routine and feel better now, thanks!
Awesome one. I like your follow alongs, but can I suggest to slow down the tempo a bit? Especially the transitions, as by the time I adjust my position I never quite manage to hold for the x amount of seconds you recommend and the video is on to the next position.
Hello Tom, thanks for your videos. I'm being doing V1 and V2 for a couple of years and with all this quarantine finding that you do a V3 is a great gif from your side. Thanks man!
I'm 46 and knew I needed to start working on flexibility - thanks for a great video series and keep them coming - good to have a variety of stretching routines to mix up the day - thanks again! Cheers!
Thanks for this revamp Tom! Your mobility routines have been a great supplement to my powerlifting. Feeling strong and supple (enough) at the same time! Merry Christmas!

Could not disagree more. It’s almost impossible to follow what is being stretched or how someone would do them without hurting themselves trying.
@Strictly 4 I did. They’re just as bad. Was hoping these were better.
i love how I can see that my body is getting more and more flexible following your routines. Thank you so much!

If you can make it happen, deep tissue massages are great. Heat pads can help. I even use cupping therapy to break up the tight tissue on my body.
Add this to your daily schedule.
