- The rabbits on one of Mat Manning’s shoots have spiralled in numbers after a successful breeding season, and their burrowing is posing a danger to livestock. Mat sets up an evening ambush, shooting from the prone position for added stability and increased range, and even manages to catch the action on scope-cam as he brings the bunnies to book.

We have a severe rabbit problem in horse paddocks. I hate the idea of killing things but have had to man up as they are getting out of hand and creating a significant danger to horses. These videos are helpful.
Very well produced show. Just the right amount of shooting, product review etc. Great work by all.
I say this everytime, but these Airgun videos are so well done. And I love how respectful and thoughtful these videos are. There are so many "shooting videos" that are so grotesque and class-less.
Thank you very much. We put a lot of work into them and really appreciate the positive comments.
All the best. Mat
Agreed. This kind of professionalism is why I'm subscribing
Absolutely, great information and very humane practices.
I love that you’re teaching proper form as well as adaptations by using the left hand. 3 points of contact, and I’ll some times keep a small sock with dried peas or beans, shot, as a squeeze bag to help with elevation off the butt stock. Love your guys channel. Excellent videos.
You can also use one of each of your legs, depending on prone position, to either slightly raise or lower your sights. I learned that thru my competition coach
Very informative videos. I have learned a lot from you and I m really very very grateful for your wonderful way of expressing on how to make a good kill. Bless you dear and I’m waiting for your next video 🙏👌
Brilliant show Matt. Your attention to detail is amazing and really helpful for hunters like me. Keep up the great work. Loved it
Thanks very much. Glad it's helpful.
All the best. Mat
Great job on those rabbits Matt, always a pleasure to watch your pest control videos 👍
Thanks Peter.

Just rewatching all the old rabbit and rat videos and have just wondered, where did Mat get that hat? I'd love one like that!

Good Mat, your video they are very instructive and they attract a lot me, your technical comments on the weapons and accessories are really unique. Thanks to you are convincing me to you to purchase an air compressed carbine, there is only the choice of what brand.
Thanks for another great edition of the Airgun Show. Its always good to get a few tips and have good ethical hunting practice re-enforced. I tried pre ranging in my last trip and it definitely makes clean kills easier.
Thank you for a great video Mat.
Geoff.
Thanks Geoff. Glad you liked it.
Cheers. Mat
Great shooting Mat 👍🏽
As always 😜✌🏼😜
Being from the U.S. and the area I live in rabbits are hard to come by the overpopulation of predators has really hurt the chance of good rabbit hunting.
Not in Massachusetts we are over run with those pests .
That opener about using your other hand brilliant matt!
Great video thanks for sharing.
Another awesome show matt great shooting
First shot 7:30. Good video.
Another great video ! I have the same shooting tendency's . Lol you are very good ! Just curious tho . How many fps is that rifle ? Oh and as always I appreciate your shot placement ! I never shoot unless I have a clean head shot . As I have seen you do . Good shooting and happy hunting !
Excellent shooting Mat.
Thank you--- I enjoy your work.
Love your videos
Mat what’s the screen you shoot through rather that’s the scope? Thanks
Great video
Nice bit of bunny shooting Matt , showing your age mate shooting prone lol
I've rated prone shooting as by far the best way to pick off rabbits since I was a kid. Trouble is, I can't put up with it for so long now I'm getting older...
Cheers. Mat
I’m the same mate
If you don’t mind me asking...I’ve seen this on almost every channel, and maybe I’m answering my own question, but I’ve noticed that there are multiple opportunities to take two in the same frame, and I’m not talking out of turn. I’ve been a rimfire hunter for over 30 yrs and, with a bolt action .22 LR or my WMR, I’ve taken two, unsilenced, in the same “setting” back to back. Head shots. Why don’t more of you guys go for the second shot ? Is it an air rifle thing? I have noticed that you guys will take a while to rack a round after a shot. I’ve always been in the habit of racking a round immediately after I shoot. Just a habit I guess, but I’ve always felt the immediate movement right after the shot won’t be seen as easily immediately after the shot, when they don’t know what happened, then to wait for them to get their bearings. Apologies if this is taken wrong. Still...awesome, precision shooting.
So strange that you still do not use the side-shot mount cam in your shooting sections , so geniune would it be.
great shooting mate I just seen a video down at the bottom of my screen that said England has band pigeon and Crow Shooting what do you think about that looks like you're not going to be able to shoot no more pigeons or crows even though crows and pigeons make a lot of mess
Yes, the current general licences that applied to lethal control of feathered pests have been revoked. They can still be shot under individual licence, and a couple of new (but very complicated) general licences have been released. The system is currently under review. Hopefully common sense will win out and things will be back to normal soon.
All the best. Mat
Thanks Mat great video, and great review Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it.
All the best. Mat
Good video.
Great video as always. Can you please tell me how you have attached your Sony handy cam to your scope and all the parts needed. Thanks.
Great film and very informative. Just wondered what the bipod is you're using when prone.
I have been wondering what you use to make that squeak for a while now. Perhaps you can introduce it in a show some time?
Decent rabbit session Matt, I assume that was an FAC rifle, in .22" calibre?
Yes, 30ft/lb .22. Planning sub-12ft/lb rabbiting for the next outing.
All the best. Mat
Informative videos with superb marksmanship. In my opinion the FAC is the only gun for dispatching pests. I have a PCP in 177 that’s regulated to 135bar @ >20 ft.lbs, I’ve taken fox, coyotes @ < 45 yards with a well placed shot here in the U.S. with any gun just make sure of the backstop.
Excellent video... I guess you know about the swedish FX Airguns? Have you tried one?
should get in that paddock after dark matt for a bumper session
Hi what scope do you suggest for my Gamo cfx 177 cal
Heck upgrade to a night vision or thermal scope .. I’ve seen stuffs like that and the rabbits never know what’s about to happen
excuse me what's your camera
I'll try again to get a response what fitting and camcorder are you using please on the scope cheers
Hi Danny. It's a homemade setup. I show how I made it here: ruclips.net/video/R5-PXN_hInY/видео.html
All the best. Mat
What is the Airgun’s caliber?
What scopes were you using?
I like the headshots
What brand is this cap you're wearing?
What scope were you using on the red wolf
Hey any chance you could do a review on the hatsan AT44-10?
What bipod are you using there?
What scop cam do you use
what scope cam is it and what adaptors do you use cheers
what is your gun.. Daystate Red Wolf ?
what caliber is the rifle, please?
is this a sub 12 FP rifle?
Is this rifle under 12flbs or FAC?
I'd also be grateful if you can advise me on where I could find an air rifle gun show like in your video,s as I didn't know they had those still but as I've said I've not been into it for years thansk lee

Hi Matt I've just became a subscriber to your channel and I'm very close to countryside but rats are wat I'd like to get I had a incident where I had to stamp on a rat that had somehow walked into my brother,s open door to his kitchen and it took some doing I've been rat shooting before big time I was sort of employed by apig farmer to shoot the rats at his pigary 5p a rat and I loved it I'm now really wanting to get some good advice if you have time to answer this post is be grateful I'm interested in any air rifle but don't know what kind to buy or how much to spend on one as I'm not that person who wants the best that cash will buy I. Like a bargain but I'm willing to spend 1to 250 pounds if that will get me a rifle either air powered one or spring or canister guns maybe with sights on and definitely a silencer on it just for visual affect aswell or I've seen some new type composite guns which look amazing but as I've not been shooting for over 30years but I'm also interested in target shooting as I am a cracking shot without a sight I could hit a target with just a gun sight when other person cudnt even with a scope so I'd love to hear back from you on some advice if possible on what type of air gun I shud look at I'd be willing to travel to see you and go on a hunt with u if that was possible I know others have asked so basically I'd be grateful just to hear back from you about some good gun info so as to try and point me Inthe right direction for purchasing a gun thanks so much for doing wat you do and any comments that disagree tell them to come see wat they have to deal with an infestation then they,d be all for it killing vermin is alway acceptable in my eyes I've lived and. Worked on farms all my younger life so I know what damage they can do thanks can't wait to hopefully hear from you soon Matt
Pesky wabbits
