I'm always to help healthy wild animal populations. Rock on Matt! Could you pls move a bit toward some of the guns that are lower on the budget scales with the Hybrids testing. I know You don't like'em (those guns) that much but lots of us don't have any choice but pick the budget-friendly PCP airguns. I'm talking about those of mid-range pricing like FX Dreamline, Air Arms 510 Xtra FAC, Brocock Bantam, Weihrauch HM100 FAC, Hatsan Galatian, BSA R10 FAC and many, many others around $1000+. Please consider it, I sure the airguners community would be more than pleased with such stuff on your channel.
This is by far the best video for first time FX Impact MK II owners using .22 slugs ! Adjusted mine to 948 FPS with a 10 shot group with a dev. of 5 FPS , my groups at 40 yards are excellent , I would recommend doing a little cleaning of the slag on these pellets before your shot them , if you empty all 100 packed pellets on a dark cloth napkin you will see what I mean .

These hybrids slugs are another genius move by FX! It's clear that after a year or even two years of you shooting FX slugs, the other competitive companies such as Daystate etc. Are not going to spend the money or take the time to make a slug barrel. Perhaps it's too expensive perhapsit's too expensive, perhaps they sell the majority of their rifles with in England and places that do not allow full power air rifles, who knows, but I think that these hybrid slugs will sell like hotcakes!
Those hybrid slugs been around long before FX...the guy that Owns the Paton, is the owner of Ratsniperslugs..he teamed up with FX because fx has a good Distribution network...it was a business move that will Benefit him greatly...

I've found that propellant to be remarkable for 9mm @115 fmjhp in both a highpoint carbine and various pistols for general paper target practice. Where as it's designed primarily to be used for shot shells. HMU if you'd like to compare relo notes 👍😎👌
Thank you!! I would suggest visiting farmers in person and showing them how quiet and accurate a PCP can be, this should give them confidence. And I think a hybrid slug is too small for a .224" barrel, those barrels are quite a bit bigger than airgun .22 barrels.

@hunter100t Is that a original gun, or modified? Maybe i typed it different than what i mean. Many hunt with .177 also in sub 12. But when talking about slugs, you go fac. When go full power, sky is the limit in my country. So why chose a .177 when a bigger caliber has more power..

It's because it is a Rat Sniper slug. They've teamed up. NSA is not affiliated in any way, AFAIK. NSA ammo is proven and much cheaper than the hybrid slugs, but I still hope the hybrid slugs are successful, since competition advances the sport.
I love rat sniper slugs and they have them in other calibers. I have not been able to get any more for about a year and I talked to the guy once to see if I needed to order a few thousand at a time and I even offered to help make them so he could keep up. Well, I gave up! I've been getting my slugs off eBay.
Matt; the "heavy flywheel rim effect" of these very hollow hybrid slugs is easy enough to understand. If your viewers need any further help understanding how this affects long range stability, consider the 7.92 x 40 CETME. Hi, you spoke of sitting up shooting. A trick I love I got from a military sniper. Sit up with target to your left(right handed shooters) knees up "v" like, elbows around knees so legs relaxed knee settles in cup of elbows, gun right hand, grip resting on left elbow, left hand holding right forearm to lock it in, feet crossed. He took a 700yrd shot like that on the fly. You know more than I ever will, but food for though. Iv been watching your channel sence your 1st AA .177 your a 10 In my book :)
Its called pest control. I don't think your god would condemn you for taking out pests if they were tearing apart your garden. You probably wonder why they smile and laugh when they get a kill too. I can easily answer that question. Ted said it best on his channel at Teds Holdover. "I smile and chuckle because I'm happy that I performed a quick clean kill and that the animal didn't feel any pain". So also keep that in mind.

great slugs, but I wonder while you were at FX was there ever a conversation as to why nobody makes slugs in .177 ?
Probably it's because they are to tiny and the guns are low on power to Hunt.
I have some nsa .177 slugs that I tried out of my gamo dynamax. They don't fly straight with my gun..

Pyramydair carries them also however there on back order till December 9 th but it is buy three and the fourth is free this week
