Hi Mat, I find whole maize is brilliant on my squirrel feeder. Only a bit more expensive than wheat and much cheaper than peanuts. Being bright yellow it shows up well. Also it takes the squirrel a bit longer to munch a maize grain than wheat so they keep there heads still longer. Note I use whole maize rather than cut maize. Cheers Dave.
Beautiful gun. I just like a nice woods sporter stock. These space age looking things are great if your trying to scare a Predator or Terminator. Next toy will be the Winchester 70-45. 🤪
Good shooting on the squizzers Mat, and that rifle doing its job. I have a bantam but not sure if that version is for me but each to their own. looking forward to the next vid so keep at em Mat and gang ! atb Phil
Now there's a good day's outing on those squirrels for sure. Entertaining as well as doing good for the countryside too. Have a Merry Christmas, Mat, and all the best in 2019,..I guess we won't see you now, until after Santa Clause has been and gone, so enjoy the time with family and friends. Cheers,...in the real sense for the wish!
Nice dangler. Great shooting!! I really enjoy the show. You might want to hide the rope hanging down from rhe tripod. The bright color is swinging and drawing my eye towards it. Good thing the squirrels don't see it.
Super dooper vid matt .. and in liking that zabroia thingy more each time I see it , right what you say about the Brocock being more accurate with the single shot tray , the bantam sniper hr is EXACTLY the same .. had too send the magazine back for replacement as it didnt line up ( when you look through it empty it should show perfect round hole so it feeds perfect , mine didnt , and the probe was deforming the pellet ) .. easy fix is too " hone " or drill out very SLIGHTLY the back plate so it feeds without interference ... super shooting , great vid , and if theres not another before crimbo .. merry xmas and an happy and healthy new year too you and your family and not forgetting the production team ...
Grey squirrels are destructive little monsters. While they are native to the area I live in, the still destroy so much around my farm that I need to frequently do pest control. Luckily the squirrel hunting season is long...
Nice video, nice simple camo setup on the squirrel shoot only ruined by that white mamometer at the end of the cylinder not someone's brightest idea. That commander looks a serious bit of kit but those gauges not aligning up with each other would drive me insane. Think I got a problem with gauges 😂😂😂😂
Great looking rifle, a bit pricey but probably worth the money. Thanks Mat for yet another impartial and thorough review. Like you I also lost count of the number of squirrels.
Least the last one didn't die on a empty stomach, every time i watch your show i want to go out an get a new rifle, its much harder to get permissions tho now my dad is not here he was well known in the hunting community and the game keeper i new has dyed, think i need to visit some of the horse paddocks, my son is 13 now an i really want to introduce him to the shooting way of life while he is still young, i got a 20 boar side b side for my 10th birthday an we were in a syndicate on the scotch mountains for roe deer stalking, i was so lucky an want my lad to feel that to, ive not got me shotgun ticket but i stillreally want to get my son in to shooting the air rifles, do you have any tips on a 13 yr olds first air rifle that will suit for lasting in to his late teens with a price range of up to 600, i grew up with BSA but ive lost touch with it all was wondering if anything else might suit him better. Great show as always by the way its the shooting show that inspires me to start shooting again an get my son in to it, ive already introduced him to fly & course fishing plus i want to show off to him what a mean shot his dad is haha
Good session on the 'Greys' Mat, The Brocock is not my cup tea & have to say for what is whatever name you call it a 'plastic' stock it's a lot a money imo atb t ..
Cody Valentin I’m from South Carolina and we have so many squirrels that Clemson University has started putting something in their food to make them infertile. In England, where this video is from, the grey squirrels are an invasive species and are putting a lot of pressure on the native red squirrels. Yes they’re cute and all but they cause a lot of damage.
The grey squirrel has wrecked havoc on are woodland an nearly wiped out the red squirrel all together to the point where you just don't see one any more an you can not shoot them if you did come across one, squirrels, rats an pigeons i kill when an where ever i legally can
Hi, I'm new to this channel and also new to air rifles, 1 request, can you please start adding links in the description on where to buy the gear you're using so that us beginners can get a point in the right direction, keep up the great work 👍👍
What is your limit in the uk ?you should come to the USA and do a shooting show and come to are outdoor show you explain things very well and you are interesting.
theshootingshow , You're totally an idiot if you kill squirrels only because they eat from the bird feeder! Set your feeder on a sheppard hook and add a squirrels protector that's all.
Because they are a non-native invasive species which eat native songbirds eggs and young chicks, and do immense damage to woodland by ringbarking and therefore severely damaging or killing trees.
Another excellent video. At 60 yrs old I still learn from the show .
Im 50 + myself and still learning also lol. These Air guns have came along way since my Red Rider.

Excellent shooting. Quick clean shots so the squirrel doesn't suffer is the way to do it right. I look forward to your next video.
Great shooting, grey squirrel hunt. Awesome footage, clean head shots and humanely done
That jacket with digital cammo is amazing!
Another great video, and Cracking shooting Mat, hope there is more to come, Thank You, Cheers
Best action with amazing skill
Beautiful gun. I just like a nice woods sporter stock. These space age looking things are great if your trying to scare a Predator or Terminator. Next toy will be the Winchester 70-45. 🤪
Great show once again Mat, keep them coming !!!!!!!!

How do you know there isn't a squirrel in a blind behind you?
Awesome video. One of the better you guys have made. Well done.
Greetings and thumbs up from a subscriber in Norway.
The 'dangle' is just as good as the 'dance'. Both indicate solid brain shots with ensuing destruction. Good session Mat.
ATB,
Michael
Thank you Matt for your videos and reviews. All the very best to you and yours in 2019.
Great shooting and lots of good eating. Thanks for a good show.
That was fun to watch :)
Nice shooting.

Great video, I have a Benjamin classic and love getting out and shooting.
Hey what kind of stand do you use for your gun
Just a little bit of tape over that 'DayGlow' pressure gauge might have been a good tactic 🙈
He lost count of how many he shot...........

Nice tally on the alien invader there Mat!
not sure I like the way the cocking bolt 'jumps' each time that Brocock Commander was fired.

I didn't like that either

I find you attractive does that make me gay?

Could you tell me what size primos trigger stick you use for all your shooting???
The commander in sub 12 is very low in power mine was reading 9.2 so got returned for a refund and got replaced with a BSA r10 doing 11.6 .
Great looking rifle, a bit pricey but probably worth the money. Thanks Mat for yet another impartial and thorough review. Like you I also lost count of the number of squirrels.
Great hunt, thanks Matt

I love watching woodpeckers. They seem to defy gravity.
When is the airgun show going to weekly Matt???????
That's quite a loud set up!
Hard to watch Squirrels get shot. I’m from New York City and we love to feed squirrels.

What Mounts are you using with the Commander? Great vid by the way.
😉👍🏻

Do you eat squirrels or are you just killing for fun?

wtf why????????????????????????????????????

Change the music.... It's bad..
