All animals in this video are legally and humanely shot under the terms of English law and/or under licence. Спорт
nice shooting buddy, that will make a massive positive difference to those woodlands.
Certainly will, thanks
just shows the the amount of these tree rats that are out there.the damage they do to our song birds is not good.well thats a few less for the birds to have to deal with.😉
I use my .177 springers for pest control, mainly those pesky little red squirrels. Sometimes the black squirrels get into my bird feed and I have to remove them. Satisfying hearing that loud "whop" when that pellet connects. Thank you for sharing this video.
Don't shut all. Save some for later....😢
Howcome you shoot reds?
Very impressed with what a sub 12 air rifle can do,
I am a 22 rimfire hollow point with bolt action and thermal scope bunny basher myself..
I thought shot bunnies were quite twitchy but squirrels... Man...
An excellent commentary and ricochet at 17.31
That was a wonderful debut for the HW100. 23 down is a great morning. Pleasant woods to be hanging out in too. Cheers from Texas.
Epic. Been using an HW 100 for years, amongst others. A top bit of kit. A very bemused pheasant.
Marvelous!, I was so amused by the pheasant nonchalantly strutting about. Good score.
Glad you enjoyed it
As always Lance great shooting and all clean shots. Keep em coming pal
What a excellent video,, first class marksmanship and commentary,, what a head count , 👍🤠
100% agree.
Glad you enjoyed it David
what if it were the heads of you and your family you depraved scumbag? Would that be an excellent video too?
Awesome shooting session. Well done! 🐿️ 🐿️
What a great first outing for the HW100, new record as well. You’ve gotta be really pleased with that. Just goes to show how many greys are out there. Top video as usual, well done.
Certainly put its mark in on the squirrels, thanks Larry
What a shoot buddy, German engineering at its best and a good man behind it,excellent video. 23 flee bags down, some were definitely having a good old scratch but they won’t be itching now!
Thanks Jonathan
Best shooting on u tube always a pleasure to watch keep up the good work.👍
Really happy to hear that
Bleddy awesome pard, I have waited 4 years to get my first day of double figures but that was shared with my shooting partner. A red letter day like you have just had is a dream buddy, hell of a way to christen a new rifle 👍
Definitely a good way to christen the new rifle.
Great shooting. Grey squirrels can't resist peanuts. Jays love them too. Squirrels are such a nuisance here too.
Brilliant vid, Cracking session, great shooting. 💪
Epic Indeed!! Nice shooting and Humane Dispatching. Cheers 🙏.
Thank you
Great video 👍I especially like that there was no slow motion footage or irritating music etc! The .22 sure does deliver a heck of an impact with its larger surface area and great footage from the Alpex 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Here in North Carolina, USA. We call them "Fuzzy Chicken." Great deep fried.
To say you " smashed it " would be an understatement ... absolutely awsome morning out ... started my morning off well , watched vid , now up and out on the motorcycle for a full English .. great way to start the day ....
Sounds good to hear 💥🧨👍
Lovely shooting Lancs.Lovely scope to
Thank you.
Fantastic session wish my bags were as big as that😂 great shooting 👍
Nice bit of shooting there mate 👍
Thank you 🙏
Excellent shooting mate I’ve got a hw100kt in 2:2 as well and I love it I use jsb 15:89g which the gun loves Keep up the good work
The ones that valiantly try and hang on but slowly lose their grip and plummet to the floor are my favourites
As usual crackin shooting and an epic total. Now we are in the middle of August All my feeders are starting to go quiet regarding greys.
Bloody hell mate thats a session and half, cracking result, and a great way to break the Hw100 in, oh yea Cheers 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍
It certainly was an amazing morning, thanks.
Great shooting and what a huge haul 😳
Absolutely cracking video buddy.Great footage and a lovely result.I think you’re going to be busy on that perm.
Atvb👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Definitely another visit is needed, thanks 👍
had my hw100k since around 2004 i bought a kit to bullpup it in 2010, it had never let me down other than seals needing changed. it likes jsb jumbo 15.89 grain and shoots at 11.4ftlbs and with the right scope it never misses if it does then it was my fault..
That was indeed Epic! Amazing equipment & great shooting! -Texas Tim
Great video Lancs. More soon please 🙂
Don't you worry, plenty more squirrel, rat and rabbit videos coming soon.
Great shooting, love the sound of the thump. I shot one last month, before that two months. They seem to have disappeared, the 100+ temps here in Texas doesn't help. Great vid
Great work thinning out the grey population , I love the crack of the pellet hitting the skull. Love my hw100kt too 👍👍👍👍.
Mega awesome film, and some really good shooting with the new HW100
Thank you Steffen
Quality videos. Got yourself a new subscriber and I’ll be letting others know about your channel 👍
Really appreciate it, thank you.
that is a belting good mornig and a great debut for the 100
Certainly was, thanks George
Looks like easy pickings. 😂👍🏻
Excellent shooting and certainly a busy feeder.
Real bad infestation of squirrels well done 👍
Thank you, still plenty more to go at as well.
Lot of squirrels taking dirt naps
Great video again, what a haul! Be interested to learn how you rate the HW100 against your AA US. Keep on!
Both as good as each other.
With a little practice you'll be able to flip those little rascals off of that feeder without them getting their little feet getting caught on the feeder, practice makes perfect!
Now after ALL that fun knocking them comes the work begins , skinning and cleaning. Well that's quite a few meals in the bag. Never had any squirrel but I hear it's tasty. Excellent video and shooting! 👍👍👍
My bag was a lot heavier walking back to the car 😂
If you get the opportunity, try squirrel. It's very good eating. You can skin and clean a squirrel in less than a minute with a little practice.
Another excellent video with some cracking shooting. Well done mate
Thanks Ron
Maybe sometime in the near future you could do a video on how you process your game, maybe a catch and cook video?? That would be awesome. Where I'm from USA we just skin them, quarter them up, flour and pan fry them. Great shooting BTW, not a single miss and that's impressive!
brilliant shooting mate, your best on squirrels I believe. as always good filming, by the way I have the same gun.what pellets are you using / or recommend.
Thank you. I was using AA Diabolo Fields 5.52.
Any time I have a critter that looks confused or wary around any feeder, I assume it's the animal's first trip to the feeder. They're investigating it and learning how it works.
Absolutely brilliant video, one of the better ones on here.
Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed the video.
That was mega they just kept coming 👍 well done .
I'd shoot one and another would come waiting no longer than 10 minutes each time 💥🧨
Have a nice day! It's so funny!
Thanks! You too!
Good shooting and well done. That Pheasant seemed like he had a Hang-over from the night before. I'd have laughed if one of the dead Squirrels had landed on him, as it made its descent to an abrupt exit to the woodland floor.
Nice work mate.
The damage they do to our native oak trees needs to be taken more serious.
During my own personal surveys as such of my local woods lots of big trees have lost limbs from where they peel bark off
And all young oak trees tend to loose they’re leading shoot which makes them short trees.
Absolute superb proper pest control land owner will be happy to be rid of the greys.Rifle properly run in now 😉👍.Really enjoying these recent videos glad I subbed.Your doing everything properly well done.Nice to hear the Peacocks lol 😊
Glad you liked the peacocks 🦚🦚🦚
@@lancsvermincontrol Shooting was tidy too bud 😁👍👍
excellent work as usual
Looks like your enjoying the hw100 mate 👍🏻
It's working very well
Epic indeed!
wow!that gun is 100% on target.enjoyed the vidieo
Cracking video buddy well done
Thanks 👍
Very professional, good shooting !
The pheasant was feeling suicidal was wanting you to shoot
Great shooting, well done
Great video, love watching your skills. I trap them, with a Fenn trap in a box, top hole entry.
Keep up the good work. Peace be unto you.
Thanks Martin
That’s my plan for a feeder let them eat for a week have they’re guard down and pick them off no problem, excellent shooting as always 👍
Brilliant video 👍 I've just treat myself to a HW100T in .177 as I have a HW110 in .22, can I ask what bipod your using as that's next on the list when finances become available 😀
I use these.

Best one yet 👍
Excellent shots . Did I mention the dirt naps are epic?
Belting video pal 23 tree rats in one session WOW ..cheers..mike ❤😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Good vid thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Gary
What a BRILLIANT Video. I've never seen that many in one go, 14 was my biggest morning. Only trouble now is that you can only shoot them once, so it'll be a few weeks/months before the numbers are up again. Great stuff, and that woodland looks amazing👍👍👍 Well done,
David
Thanks for the support David, it's much appreciated 👍
You weren't kidding ,plenty of squirrels .You would have to love how the new rifle performed! Making a great dent in the population, but I think you will have to make a return visit .What was the range you were shooting at? That pheasant was pretty calm about the proceedings going on around it. Thanks for sharing from Australia.
That was one dumb pheasant 😂
I was shooting from about 15 yards. No need to go further and make it more difficult than it needs to be. I will be returning in the winter time.
Cracking day's hunting mate,well done you!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎😎
Cheers Alan
Great Video nice shooting what do you make your feeder trays out off
Thanks. It is made of aluminium
Some crackin shooting 💯💪🏼
Thank you and nice meeting you the other day.
@@lancsvermincontrol you too mate I’ll be in touch if this new perm comes off meant to be riddled with rats the more the merrier he has said so 🤞🏼 have a little colab if your keen 🤷🏼♂️

I actually did an out of the box review (kinda) when I first used it.
ruclips.net/video/hccZwANq0vc/видео.html
The morning of the last suppers, brilliant shooting, that’s a lot of squirrels gone , well done 👏👏
My barrel was smoking 😂
Great video and shooting, keep up the good work! ✅
They're a pain in the arse. Destroying bird feeders and chewing through cables in the loft😂
New to this channel. Do you eat these squirrels, or simply dispose of them? If you do eat them, can you do an episode where you clean and cook?
Yes I do eat them. There is another channel about clean and cooking them, @corvidhunter.
Brilliant mate 👏 👌
Thanks 👍
This is 4 months after the video’s release, but the ‘slow’ squirrel at about 15:30 seemed to be *smelling* the scent markers of the many other squirrels that had been already. If it’s in a low social position, it’d want to be sure no dominant squirrel was around to get on it. Just my guess from watching various wildlife videos. I’m in SW WI USA; a 70 year old farmers widow. Love these videos!👍👍👏!
Thank you Donna, thanks for watching and enjoying the channel.
I think that's exactly correct. There is certainly a squirrel heirarchy and the slow squirrel was probably very low in the pecking order and never had the opportunuty to get on the feeder himself before, having to be satisfied with any bits the more dominant squirrels dropped. Hence he didn't know how to open the lid.
It was also noticeable on a rear view that the squirrels who chased others away weren't, shall we say, at the back of the queue when the testosterone was handed out 😁
Great job!!
Thank you!
brilliant pest control bro
Cheers Dave
Great video as always 22 squirrels in the bag and spot on shooting
Couldn't reload quick enough 😂
Great video bud 👌 wot pellets did you use mate
Thanks. I used Air Arms Diabolo Fields 5.52
I’m back in the hw100 club after watching this picked me a 22 up the other day can’t wait to get out with it now 👍
Got a slightly random question for you. Did you notice whether there is a roughly equal mix of male and female squirrels visiting the feeders, particularly after that session?
Fabulous.
Great pest shooting, you could be there all day just picking them off.
Plenty more for next time.
HI Lancs, have been enjoying your vids on controlling the greys. Just wondering what you do with the squirrels you have shot. Do you eat them or give them as food to those who honor you with the permission? Would be nice to know all that lean, tasty squirrel meat is consumed. Thanks! Dave in the USA
Glad you’re enjoying the squirrel videos. I take as many home as I can fit in my bag and cook them in my slow-cooker. I will throw a few in to the bushes and foxes etc they will take care of them.
I dont mind vermin control, as long as you dont start hunting the beautiful Mink, that are changing hands at £300 a kit!
I like the thud each time you took one of these pesky varments lol.how do you dispose of the dead squirrels?.
they`re some well-fed fat squirrels - good shooting
They got fed some lead that morning as well 😂
@@lancsvermincontrol I bet the ungrateful sods didn`t say thanks either☠
Hello My friend,
That was a great demonstration of shooting skills and accuracy. May I ask, please?
Generally, you use either your Air Arms Ultimate Sporter or your Weihrauch HW100 KT.
I don't see much in them, to be honest. If I were to split hairs, I'd say I preferred the Air Arms. I love the function and the travel of the Air Arms cocking lever as it clicks and turns the magazine and cycles in the next pellet. Do you have a preference?
Thank you, Ian.
Hello Ian, trying to choose between them is like trying to pick your favourite child. You can't choose 1.
However, whichever one you choose will not disappoint.
@@lancsvermincontrol
Hello My friend, A very good answer and well written. Thank you.
We have limits in the US. Do you eat them? I love squirrel gravy and biscuits. We are only allowed 6 per day where I live.
Certainly epic, think the later ones had not been so used to the feeder and the cover. so the ones shot beforehand been hogging it!!
Definitely 😁
Excellent shooting and excellent video what a great way to christen a new gun 👍🏻
Great shooting. Can I ask what you do with the dead squirrels
They get taken home and made into a stew.
Nice share 😊😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi, would you consider .77 ? I use .22 and do notice a drop over 40m.
Great shooting
As always a pleasure Janice
