For the price drop it is a steal. Umbelievable good built quality. Best part to me are the supro pickups. So much clarity and warmth paired together. Love them more than all the Dimarzios and Seymours i played.
Picked up one last year, the truss rod had never been tightened from the factory. I managed to save mine by not attempting to adjust neck till completely detuned. Great guitar beware of the returned sale guitars at the big box. Only mod needed, pickups sit loosely and bounce around when on stage, this can be easily remedied with gap pad. Yes, it's a player
Hi...can I ask your thoughts....I was looking at an ibanez am73 pre-owned in a guitar store and the sales guy was trying to upsell me this guitar....thanks.....
@@Filmbuf-g2k I really don't like it. The pickups are far too hot for this style of guitar. The build quality and finish is excellent but those pickups---bloody awful. I won't be keeping it.
@@Filmbuf-g2k Good choice. I had an Ibanez TM71 once, a semi which is now discontinued. It sounded so much better than the D'Angelico. £299 sounds like a bargain.
I’m surprised with the comments on the pickups. I bought the tour dc after hearing a review on YT. The build quality is exceptional and I personally love the sound, but I suppose it’s down to individual taste at the end of the day.

Just bought the singlecut. Hopefully here tomorrow. Hope I like it! For 500 quid looks like a good deal.
