If you're looking for a reason there's a few: 1) endless is a lot more of an omori celebration 2) view count 3) or3o is a more noticed artist 4) omocat could just haven't heard black and white (unlikely) 5) omocat could just like endless more than black and white, or (trying to put this lightly) omocat could just not like black and white.
I've never played to Omori before, but it's been on my wishlist for quite a time now. I do feel an attraction for such games, and particulary Omori, and from what I knew about it, I did not wanted to spoil myself out. So I volontary letted pass several omori songs that were attractive, just with that idea. Except one, this one. I knew, knowing how much of Xxtha songs are not so direct in their lyrics, that i wouldn't get spoiled while listening what I refused to ear for such a time. And oh my, does that only strentghten my willing to play my, and my fear of ever finishing this game (if some ask, not only do I consider games such as Undertale or Oneshot as much masterpieces than horrors by what they let you do or chose, but the topic of the game is also uneasing me. I hope I'm not the only one understanding) Well done, you achevied to make me something I did not wanted in the beggining, while enjoying it without the least of regrets. I bow with all the respect i already have before.

Oh. My. God. I've listened to a lot of Omori songs, and I can say that all of them are pretty mid, could be better. But. Wow I'm genuinely impressed. I'm waiting for a bad lyric, but it never came. Truly incredible. Thank you for this. From the genuinely catchy tune to the wonderfully put together lyrics, which don't shove the theme in your face like most songs, but are also not about nothing, everything about this song is amazing, including the film grain noise. I wish I found this sooner, one of, if not THE best, Omori fan songs I've heard. 2:22 i fucking love distorted vocals, kinda wish that carried over to the 2nd chorus because it sounds a little too empty. I also like the key change as well, and the visuals throughout the entire song are really nice too.
