This is like the only Omori fan song, and it’s honestly the equivalent to all the big fanmade songs for all the other indie video game fandoms, and it’s absolutely masterful.
There are more fan songs like Everything, Shuttlebox, and Endless. Not to mention all the covers for My Time, Good Morning, and others. OR3O even added fan lyrics to Final Duet.
just some things I thought about during the song: “I wake up” - form of irony maybe? because sunny doesn’t wake up from his denial till a long while in the game “Nothing can come undone” - creeping feeling of guilt for mari’s death. sunny knows she’s dead and there’s no changing that but he refuses to believe so “The bulb is as bright as you’d think” - very clever, because the bulb in whitespace is completely black. meaning the bulb isn’t bright at all, for example mari’s grave says “Rest in Peace. The SUN shined brighter when she was here.” the SUN referring to SUNNY “There’s a girl and there’s a boy and then they fight over their toys even though they both should know to simmer down” - sunny’s interpretation of kel and aubrey (AUBREY?! Based on the images shown, I think “Reckless, harmful little boy-careless, breaking up his toys” may have a double meaning: one being Sunny destroying his violin (as you mentioned), and the other being an insult referring to when he accidentally killed Mari.
No jokes, this is my favorite omori fansong. Nothing else has been able to perfectly convey the chaotic emotions running through Sunny's head as everything around him crumbles into an uncomfortable, broken symphony that he lost control of. Basil disappearing is simply a catalyst for it. Not to mention the pain you can feel when he describes the fact that his friend went missing. It provides excellent insight into Sunny's mind, and belongs in the same exact tier of the game itself. The fact that you can do that in the span of four minutes just goes to show that you are a very talented artist.
2:27 the “So I go back down the stairs” here at first when I read the captions I thought it was a miswritten line, but then when it flickered with the stairs ladder no one’s there part it became a perfectly written lyric, so good job, amazing song 👍

I have this song on one of my shuffled playlists. Right after this song, *Pure Pure* (english cover too) played. I cannot describe to you the e mount of emotional damage was dealt to me after a banger solemn tune faded out and then I just hear “ *Do YoU rEaLlY wAnNa DiE lIkE a ViRgIn BoY?* “ blasted into my ear.
Goodness, this reminds me a lot of the source material and I'm living for that. The twists between calm and desperate (that at times felt like small, yet very welcome, jumpscares in a way), this vibe of "composed paranoia" it has, which was very much expanded by the singing, the lyrics nodding at different aspects from the game AND THE LINES THAT WERE LITERALLY QUOTES AHHHHHHH THAT SURE WAS AN IMPACTFUL TOUCH 💥. The video too! The play with the fonts sizes and style and the choices for the backgrounds for each section were so fitting aaaaaaaa 💥💥 Gosh... Major banger.

Day 173 - holy crap, i went to a theme park yesterday and i rode a small looking airplane ride without a line, i was just finishing up for the day. it looked like a kids ride, so i was basically just doing it to make the most out of my experience. when i rode it though, it WENT FULL 360 UPSIDE DOWN VERY FAST. i can handle extreme rides, like a lot, but, the fact that i didn't know that it was gonna go upside down is what scared me. (didn't comment about this yesterday because i comment at the start of the day)
I'm so happy I got recommended this. What a dynamic, richly written, and lively love-letter to the original game!! The way the song shifts through the melancholic beginnings reflecting on Sunny's innocence to gradually increase the tempo as all these intrusive thoughts, fears, and anxieties come to a head in a discordant frenzy as we dive into the Black Space sections makes the song feel like an entire journey through the game's story. Coming up with a song that doesn't feel bloated or repetitive while covering THIS much content is SUPER impressive you did such an amazing job!

Woah. This is an amazing song for Omori. The tone and pacing feel exactly like the game, cheerful and cal at the beginning and frantically fast paces near the end. And the singing is absolutely AMAZING!! A complaint do have is the random parts where she stops singing and starts talking, but that's just a peeve of mine, those parts make sense for the song.
oh my gosh this encapsulates the tone of omori so well.. shifting between panic and uneasy calm... i'm especially partial to the chaos that begins with mewo and the even sadder variations of the chorus after... amazing work :)
Day 11 - A few more song details I noticed! right after 3:52, if you listen close, you can hear the SOMETHING motif that the game plays when you get jumpscared by it in the background. Another awesome detail is that the main instruments used are a Piano, and a violin (Plus I think a slightly deeper string, maybe a cello, towards the end)
Day 15 - i haven't mentioned how i really like when the subtitles are placed in this video, and where. because they pop up very quickly and swiftly so it feels more satisfying when they pop up and you say it. and also the subtitles being sometimes placed in the omori textbox is really interesting imo.

This song is one of the reasons I started to get into Omori, and I am so glad it did. The steady decent into chaos is definitely fitting for Sunny’s mental state when he starts uncovering the truth. Both the song and game are phenomenal. It has given me irreparable damage, but the characters are nice :)
I love this game so much I know it increases my depression I csnt accept I have this game just shows that depression usually isn't crying its a spiral that eats you up till you accept your life and just live till death or you just die or you somehow accept yourself like this and become happy with a giant scar the game shows two perspectives of different people in such a good way I want a spin off game about basil because I would relate to that type of game so much, about basil he's attached to his camera because he cant give up the memories he once had like I do I just didn't have very much fun experiences which is quite different my life was the best as a kid for about a month, and a boy who's attached to his camera because the memories can't be forgotten and he's forced to live with his life knowing his life will never be as good as it once was and basil is lost in headspace I feel like that's showing lots of things but I see it as basil is lost in his own terrible pain but in this pain he csnt be happy he can't even cover the pain in a happy fake space like omori he's stuck being lonely attached to his memories feeling like his spiral of depression won't ever end it gets worse every day always making himself feel more guilty more driven by his memories Yet at the same time his life is still worse even after omori moves away you can still see the thingy behind basil showing how basil still never recovered even if he felt happy he was hiding his pian in that moment he never recovered and likely his life his depression just got worse after all of that because his grandma just died and they were all adults soon they could never live their childhood moments ever again yet basil stands out to me because it seemed that everyone else recovered but not basil it seemed as sunny also would end up like basil driven by memories but I feel like he'd probably just do what he does in the bad ending like I thought basil would after the game takes place and also aubrey is a very good representation of the game she shows how she felt just as guilty as the others and hurt people to recover then kel he hid all his pain and then hero used his excessive workout as a way of self harm trust me I would understand that a lot also now that I thought about it I feel like kel was super competitive and he would feel like he'd never be good at anything after Maris death because there's guilt under all them so all pain they may have had before was increased a huge amount from guilt... I'm ranting because I'm attached to this game I just the only difference from me and basil is that no one ever did truly love me and I've been planning on overdosing for multiple nights there's just one thing keeping me alive and it's the thought of having no experiences after I hate my life but I wanna have experience after I'm sure soon it'll be too much but.

the video, the singing, the composing is just beautiful! i really love how well this portrays the game itself, and generally how the trauma affects sunny. it starts off as innocent, bright, and happy as it slowly turns into panic as it turns into pure horror. as i was listening to this i heard some samples from the omori battle ost which is such a nice touch! i also love the voice acting bits they are adorable!!im also obsessed with the ending points of this, it makes me think of the ending fight since sunny and omori are two opposing sides, it's like how he is leaving his headspace fighting the urge to disappear as he finally realizes the reality he's in. No jokes, this is my favorite omori fansong. Nothing else has been able to perfectly convey the chaotic emotions running through Sunny's head as everything around him crumbles into an uncomfortable, broken symphony that he lost control of.
Basil disappearing is simply a catalyst for it. Not to mention the pain you can feel when he describes the fact that his friend went missing.
It provides excellent insight into Sunny's mind, and belongs in the same exact tier of the game itself. The fact that you can do that in the span of four minutes just goes to show that you are a very talented artist.

Goodness, this reminds me a lot of the source material and I'm living for that. The twists between calm and desperate (that at times felt like small, yet very welcome, jumpscares in a way), this vibe of "composed paranoia" it has, which was very much expanded by the singing, the lyrics nodding at different aspects from the game AND THE LINES THAT WERE LITERALLY QUOTES AHHHHHHH THAT SURE WAS AN IMPACTFUL TOUCH 💥. The video too! The play with the fonts sizes and style and the choices for the backgrounds for each section were so fitting aaaaaaaa 💥💥 Gosh... Major banger.

The way the song shifts through the melancholic beginnings reflecting on Sunny's innocence to gradually increase the tempo as all these intrusive thoughts, fears, and anxieties come to a head in a discordant frenzy as we dive into the Black Space sections makes the song feel like an entire journey through the game's story. Coming up with a song that doesn't feel bloated or repetitive while covering THIS much content is SUPER impressive you did such an amazing job!

Woah. This is an amazing song for Omori. The tone and pacing feel exactly like the game, cheerful and cal at the beginning and frantically fast paces near the end. And the singing is absolutely AMAZING!! A complaint do have is the random parts where she stops singing and starts talking, but that's just a peeve of mine, those parts make sense for the song.
oh my gosh this encapsulates the tone of omori so well.. shifting between panic and uneasy calm... i'm especially partial to the chaos that begins with mewo and the even sadder variations of the chorus after...

Day 11 - A few more song details I noticed! right after 3:52, if you listen close, you can hear the SOMETHING motif that the game plays when you get jumpscared by it in the background. Another awesome detail is that the main instruments used are a Piano, and a violin (Plus I think a slightly deeper string, maybe a cello, towards the end)
Day 15 - i haven't mentioned how i really like when the subtitles are placed in this video, and where. because they pop up very quickly and swiftly so it feels more satisfying when they pop up and you say it. and also the subtitles being sometimes placed in the omori textbox is really interesting imo.

I love this game so much I know it increases my depression I csnt accept I have this game just shows that depression usually isn't crying its a spiral that eats you up till you accept your life and just live till death or you just die or you somehow accept yourself like this and become happy with a giant scar the game shows two perspectives of different people in such a good way I want a spin off game about basil because I would relate to that type of game so much, about basil he's attached to his camera because he cant give up the memories he once had like I do I just didn't have very much fun experiences which is quite different my life was the best as a kid for about a month, and a boy who's attached to his camera because the memories can't be forgotten and he's forced to live with his life knowing his life will never be as good as it once was and basil is lost in headspace I feel like that's showing lots of things but I see it as basil is lost in his own terrible pain but in this pain he csnt be happy he can't even cover the pain in a happy fake space like omori he's stuck being lonely attached to his memories feeling like his spiral of depression won't ever end it gets worse every day always making himself feel more guilty more driven by his memories
Yet at the same time his life is still worse even after omori moves away you can still see the thingy behind basil showing how basil still never recovered even if he felt happy he was hiding his pian in that moment he never recovered and likely his life his depression just got worse after all of that because his grandma just died and they were all adults soon they could never live their childhood moments ever again yet basil stands out to me because it seemed that everyone else recovered but not basil it seemed as sunny also would end up like basil driven by memories but I feel like he'd probably just do what he does in the bad ending like I thought basil would after the game takes place and also aubrey is a very good representation of the game she shows how she felt just as guilty as the others and hurt people to recover then kel he hid all his pain and then hero used his excessive workout as a way of self harm trust me I would understand that a lot also now that I thought about it I feel like kel was super competitive and he would feel like he'd never be good at anything after Maris death because there's guilt under all them so all pain they may have had before was increased a huge amount from guilt... I'm ranting because I'm attached to this game I just the only difference from me and basil is that no one ever did truly love me and I've been planning on overdosing for multiple nights there's just one thing keeping me alive and it's the thought of having no experiences after I hate my life but I wanna have experience after I'm sure soon it'll be too much but.

the video, the singing, the composing is just beautiful! i really love how well this portrays the game itself, and generally how the trauma affects sunny. it starts off as innocent, bright, and happy as it slowly turns into panic as it turns into pure horror. as i was listening to this i heard some samples from the omori battle ost which is such a nice touch! i also love the voice acting bits they are adorable!!im also obsessed with the ending points of this, it makes me think of the ending fight since sunny and omori are two opposing sides, it's like how he is leaving his headspace fighting the urge to disappear as he finally realizes the reality he's in.
