He had been at his desk for nearly an hour when he had realized not one single order had arrived on the monitor for him to follow. This is really good! I love how tired the narrator sounds tired of Stanley- How he both just straight up gives up on trying to make him follow and yet grows more and more frustrated at Stanley's disobedience! This is really underrated!
I found this song because i was searching "the stanley parable songs" as a joke then I found this absolute beauty. The lines and long notes are SO GOOD.
While it's amazing how many references were put into this song, I'm equally impressed by what WASN'T included. I noted two major endings which the Narrator doesn't directly allude to in this song, both of which reveal something significant about the nature of the game and the Narrator's connection to it. The first is the Not Stanley Ending, reached by unplugging the phone instead of answering it. In the game, doing this results in the Narrator saying it shouldn't have been possible, and because the player managed to make an "incorrect" choice, they must not actually be Stanley. Excluding this ending from the song reinforces the notion that the whole game is completely orchestrated by the Narrator, regardless of what choices Stanley might make. HOWEVER! This is counteracted by how the Museum Ending is handled. While the song has Stanley immediately get crushed to death after taking the "Escape" corridor, in the game there is an additional sequence where the Narrator disappears and a second narrator muses about how the Narrator and Stanley are both trapped in an endless cycle, with the only way out being for the player to quit the game. Leaving this out of the song reinforces the notion that, despite what the Narrator says, he is just as much a prisoner as Stanley is and has no real control over anything. I may be reading too much into this, but regardless of whether or not these omissions were intentional, they definitely enhance the song by their absence.

A little missed opportunity for the last part you could've said "IT'S ALL YOUR fault" as the whole thing is a way for the narrator to complain about how Stanley isn't listening to them and also it rhymes with the chorus. This is really good! I really like the melody,the only thing I think would’ve been cool to add is probably: "The end is never the end is never the end" and so on. But this is a masterpiece so well done 🎉👌

A little missed opportunity for the last part you could've said "IT'S ALL YOUR fault" as the whole thing is a way for the narrator to complain about how Stanley isn't listening to them and also it rhymes with the chorus.
But this is still a master piece.

Fun fact, there was a back vocal near the end that repeated that line. I took it out because it cluttered the song, but in hindsight, it would've been cool!
