      The savings already since the 4th December has been nothing short of amazing. Simple idea charge battery on cheap rate use that during the day. But I think their standing charge of 43p is a game changer for a lot of people

    We've got rid of natural gas and I've converted the boiler & hob for propane use (very easy to do). We also use a paraffin heater and our bill is really cheap. Should have done this years ago.

      @@johnnoden9435 I'm a real advocate for anything outside of normal way of thinking 👍👍 sounds like a cheaper alternative

    British Gas are *awful*. Took me 10 months to get away from them after I moved house. Call center operators in south africa actually lie to you, tell you they're doing things that they never do. Absolute dumpster fire of a once (at least 20 years ago) great company. How the heck you got to speak to a UK operator is beyond me. I never managed that.

      😂😂 never managed to get through to anyway British, all the call centres were in India. Horrendous experience. If anything British gas should be paying us to go with them. Thanks for your comments, hopefully others will look elsewhere for their electric
