This formula doesn't work if Start date's month number is lesser than end date's number... for eg: Start Date 08-09-2017 and End Date is 08-03-2018

Your tutorial was extremely informative and helpful. I was wondering if you can explain how to input New Hire vacation when it depends on what day of month you started on. For example if I started on February 22, then on March 1st I would have .5 days sick time available. Thank you in advance.
Days 1-8 accrue 1 day of sick time
Days 9-23 accrue .5 days of sick time
Dates 24-31 accrue no sick time

you would have to calculate different days per month value
for example, if the regular work week was 40 hours you would divide (0.58/10 ) and then divide the result by 2

Madam, how can I apply this formula for different years? If I joined in May 2017, how can I know my accrued leaves till date considering vacation is allowed only after completing work contract of 18 months or 24 months?

How do you accrue vacation on new hires ..meaning they are earning vacation pay but not entitled until 1 yr of service...ie if I enter 80 hrs that is not what a new hire is entitled to yet ..?

Are you sure that you are putting today()-start date and not reversed
