Have you had a serious roller skating injury before? What helped you get through your injury and back on skates? Would you consider skating in the Jack 2 Boot?

My very first year of skating i broke my ankle i had skates with no ankle support. I still have 8 screws and a metal rod and during the months of recovery i ordered the jack 1 when it released and thats what got me back to skating. If it wasn't for the moxi jack boot id probably have stopped. I still have the jack 1 (on my second pair now in jade) but in the future ill definitely order the jack 2 because now im sliding on rails, doing cartwheels and currently learing barani so the jack 2 is definitely a most have for my next set up ❤️

I had a big roller derby skater fall on my ankle at high speed and bruised it badly but got my lolly a few years after the injury and also feel great in the lolly. Not high impact park skating though.

As someone heeling from a back injury, I understand you completely when saying that you don't truely appreciate skating until it's taken away from you by an injury

I broke my ankle in three places. I also had a operation to have plates and screws. I’m still in recovery as wound after operation is not healing. I’m a bit scared of getting back to skating.

Oh man Alyssa, I've just done that exact injury!! 😣 I'm 5 days post surgery! I'm so excited to get back on my skates, but I know from previous injuries in other hobbies that it will definitely play on my mind as I start again 😣 It's so awesome to hear and see you out there doing awesome tricks at the park again and definitely confidence inspiring! 😁

Hi! I am a BRAND NEW skater but also over 50 and have had a number of injuries, including a current torn tendon and bad plantar fasciitis. My goal is to roller dance..nothing extreme at all. I love the thought of extra protection...would Jack 2 be good for roller dancing?/. I just bought the Lollys & am not opposed to have another pair if it makes sense

As a dairy farmer that has just broken two ligaments on my left ankle…. I hear where you both are coming from. My concern maybe getting back on the farm in gumboots instead of skates (that i really want to get into, hence i found this vid) but its the mental thought of twisting my ankle again, taking more time off work and not being able to surf again or get out there and enjoy skating. So i thank you for this video its been very positive and now i know what skates to order 😎🤘

Yes! I’m injured skater!! I broke my ankle in two places because my old skate was very unsupportive, and flimsy. So I broke it pretty easily landing on it when I fell. I have fully recovered from then and I would love to try these out but, I don’t have a enough to buy them right now.💕

I sprained my ankle and I’m in recovery, I’ve been skating the Lolly. I’m thinking of getting the jack 2. Would wide trucks feel better for someone who has fear due to injury?

wide trucks could make you feel more stable, but at the same time there's also an increased risk of your wheels catching together, so it's each to their own I suppose

I definitely need Jack 2 Boots for safety because sometimes I be twisting my ankle at parks and around the neighborhood and haven't skate for while like I did almost everyday and I will check out Jack Boots

Past broken metatarsals from dance and now injuries to both knees. I’d love to get these as my second pair as an adult.

Thanks y’all! I haven’t had an injury and I don’t want one😂 so I love to hear about support plus mobility. I’ll eventually reward myself with an upgrade from my rainbow riders when I get better so thanks for all the information 👊☕️🍩

You should never skate injury, however maybe a cross country skater can use these State of WA to the state of CA.

All these ankle injuries in roller skating… I’m predicting that eventually in many years you will switch to plastic or skinned plastic cuffs/boots cause rollerskates were never designed for park/street.

lmao its still a new sport- so many boots designed especially for the park are in development, so yes there are boots designed for the park
