Not gonna lie. Back when Elden Ring released, I was a little bummed about the continuous release delays of this mod. The Demo you released was nice and all, but I was looking forward towards the final release. It felt a bit like this mod will never release. But I was wrong. Oh boy was I wrong. Seeing the work you and your team puts into this mod is humbling to say at least. Some other modder would be proud to release only one aspect of this mod and call it a day. But this mod is something special. The fact that you "casually" built entire mod tools from scratch just to make this mod work is unbelievable. Soulstruct alone is a blessing for the modding community. The work you do is seriously amazing. I cannot describe how much I appreciate this. Please. Take all the time in the world. We can wait another 10 years if we have to. Dark Souls and all future modders will benefit immensly from you and your work. The only other project I can think of that is even close to this is Dark Souls 3: Archthrones. You all are amazing. So thank you! Keep cookin. We will happily devour all you serve us when its ready.
I felt the same, kinda thought they were spiralling out of development... and then I saw a thread Grimruhk made on twitter with a few other modders about how much the new tools they were developing was changing the mod scene, and I felt that not only would it take more time to finish, but that it was for CERTAINTY going to be the best mods ever made for a game, let alone the best for DS1. The idea that they can create entire new maps for the game is just unfathomable.
@@GrimrukhKeep up the great work. When I get a PC some day I'm dropping whatever amount of anything you want out of me to get my hands on the finished product. Just be sure that when the project ends, you use it as fuel for the next big hurdle, no matter what that is. I was gleeful seeing people play test this and my inner souls child was screaming with joy ❤❤❤ Keep being so talented. We all love your work and your deep passion so much. It's heart warming.
As a programmer, I absolutly love seeing and or hearing about the updates you give, no matter how slowly they come out. The limits of Dark Souls being broken with these tools is very impressive, and I can wait until the next update! Just remember to keep your head on out there, I wouldn't want to see you go hollow.
It'll be done when it's done. I've been dying for mods for these games that actually change and transform the world in a major way, not just shuffle around progression, enemies, etc (Not to disrespect what's previously been done of course) It'll be ready when y'all say it's ready.

how have I not known about this!? this is a crazy mod! game dev is a crazy process, it's a tardis, way bigger on the inside make something which a player can experience in like thirty hours. I know this, but I learn a new challenge that is faced everytime I get a peak of what it's actually like.

I was lamenting the fact that this would never come out just last night. I thought it had been canned, and when it comes to modding passion projects, I always understand when they're abandoned. It's a lot of work for not a lot of compensation. It's nice to see that it's still in development. Good luck with the rest of it!

You guys seem to be doing this out of passion and genuine love for DS1, changing the map, making new bosses, equipment and such is something we'd expect out of an official DLC, I've put several hundred hours into DS1 and have reached my limit (I don't enjoy challenge runs) because I've done it all, including some mods. A year between updates is a bit long, mostly just because it's a bit worrying not hearing any news about something you're excited for, so it's good to see that you guys are still working hard on the project, so take all the time you need to make sure YOU guys are satisfied with the end result.
I just got this mod, it didn't open so I removed dinput8, it launched properly but then the dodge only works on one direction, I use kbm is it cause i removed dinput8 or cause I don't have a controller, anybody else facing the same issue ?

If ya'll are impatient for the actual release date for this mod. I recommend mods in the meantime like Age of Sunlight or Breath of The Soul, Daughters of Ash etc. Those mods changes alone add way more playthroughs of DS1. In due time this mod will be HEAT 🔥🔥🔥
