We are pleased to confirm that based on customer feedback we DO INCLUDE the strengthening kit for the wheel deck as well as the pedal are to provide more strength for stronger pedals free of charge and included with the F-GT. what's the situation with the monitor mounting on this cockpit? im upgrading from a wheel stand from amazon so this should be a huge upgrade, and I need to know what I need to do to mount my monitor(s)
NLR you say FOC but when i enquired i would have to pay for shipping from USA to UK which cost more than the parts itself. Can these parts be obtained from UK so they really are free of charge. thank you

This was a nice bonus, I just built my new rig today and was worried about pedal flex after seeing a few complaints after purchase. Great to find these included and do a great job
Hey i guess you missed this out, but Next level racing now includes vertical strut support bars for the steering rack and pedal rack to minimise flex. I see them installed in some of your shots in the video but they weren't installed in a couple shots. This was after some user feedback and was initially not included in the early releases.
They really help especially for the pedals. Great video mate!
Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I tested the cockpit both with and without the support bars on the wheel plate. I didn’t specifically mention it in the review because I didn’t know it was something they incorporated it as an “upgrade” but I do wish I talked a bit more about that.

I have had this since late 2019. This rig is the best bang for your buck. The strengthening kit makes it extremely stable with minimum to zero flex. I also have the monitor mount kit. Purchased both from B&H Photo
what did you pay in total?
How did you get the seat to be setup so the slider is not digging into your calf?? I have the same rig and after about 2hrs my back is killing me and from consistent use I have a depression mark on my calf from the adjustment lever. So far after only like 2 months I'm already wanting something more but my lack of space has me stuck with this rig as I can move it against my desk when I'm ready to race. Any insight to making this more usable would be greatly appreciated
I just wanted to say thanks for all this gear / cockpit reviews you do man. I'm really surprised you don't already have more subscribers, but I'm sure you'll get there. I've been reading, watching and searching for the best affordable cockpit with solid quality to replace my ancient Playseat rig for a while now and I've found your reviews to be some of the best and most concise out there. I'm not hating on the in depth reviews some channels do, those can be useful of course. But when I'm wanting to gather bullet points of info on 5 to 10 different cockpits, I don't want to watch a 1 hour video on each one just to get the gist of things. lol *Subscribed* keep up the great work!
Ive had this rig for a few yrs now and its as good today as the day i brought it, it really IS a superb rig and cheap as chips for what you get.
Trust me you would not be sorry if you purchased this and i highly recommend it.....

Heyy OC great that you shared your thoughts on this one. I did end up buying this cockpit and its the best deal for atleast a beginner. I too have fanatec dd pro 8nm mounted on it and It is as sturdy without cockpit enforcement kit which was included too. I was sceptical about the seat but I have nothing but good experiences with it too. The seat is very comfy with great finish and makes easy to get in and out of the cockpit being flat in construction. I would highly recommend this cockpit to beginners and it may as well serve advanced users too.

I've been eyeing this rig for 2 years now. The F1-GT style is paramount for me. And the rigidity that comes with the reinforcement kit is insane. Can't wait to use this with a DDGT, V3 inverted pedals, and the shifter/handbrake.
is it possible to mount the inverted on the f gt?

@@ryanewaldu4292 I'll probably post a vid on my channel when that happens. Currently rocking the FGT Lite as my main rig with a CSL Elite PS4 and the LC kit. The thing is holding up fantastically so the big brother is gonna be rock solid. The Lite will become the rig I use with the PS2, 360, and PS3.

Hey Dhilan, you won’t go wrong with this cockpit. This cockpit is the best bang for buck with surprisingly comfortable seat. Adjustability of the whole rig is great too 👍
If you’re worried about the flex then It comes with supports brackets for the wheel and pedals
The fact this is $500 and comes with the seat is incredible.
Good to see the Moza R9 and pedals can hook up to this rig, as this is the rig I own and have been eye balling the Moza R9.
I have the thrustmaster tx and t3pa pro pedals for 2yrs now, so they're getting ready to give out
The R9 will be a huge upgrade! And yes, it holds up well with the F-GT 👍

This is great! I have always wanted a Playseat, but here in Mexico this is only slightly more expensive than the cheapest Playseat Evo, it is a no brainer in my opinion. I'm just worried that it will be too big and hard to store when not in use, but that is a problem I'll cross when I get to it.

See the newer version actually includes a brake plate support so the problem is easily fixed
My seat slider on my GT Track was bunk from factory...only works at the furthest back, but that actually works out perfect for me at 5'11
You didnt attach brake plate support which is included in the box. With those 2 extra mounting points, there is no flex on Fanatec V3s with brake performance kit.

The issue is with that, when you're "tall" you can't mount the pedals further back because of the supports, so you end up in a completely uncomfortable position.
@@MrRiingo you can if you drill your own holes on the side. I did that, and my pedal plate is in upper position, veeeery far away from me.

That's a great value fir $500. I'm kind of considering it myself. I'm guessing the target market for that is probably at its high end, CSL DD, equivalent or top end TM or Logitech. From a price point it just makes sense.

I ordered this and the Moza R9, how did you mount it? Are the screws that come with the Moza R9 long enough? Also, thanks for the review. To update people in the comments, these now ship with reinforcement pieces for the pedals, and wheel base, I've seen fat people stand on the pedal mount without it moving at all, so it's pretty solid now, even by DD standards.
What monitor stand are you using? I am thinking of this same setup Moza R9 plus this seat. The Next Level Racing monitor stand has horrible reviews for 3 monitor setup. Thanks.
How is it to climb in and out of this thing? And what's the weight capacity? Want to get this but at 6 '2 260 lbs I fear I'm too big.

I bought it to take my T-GTII and T-LCM pedals and it's the perfect job ,even better than I hoped .I was prepared for a faor bit of flex but it's solid and ypu don' notice anything .,I recently fitted the stronger red brake springs and there's a little flex and the odd creak but really hardly feel it and there are extra braces included foor the foot plate base pkate if you feel the need.

Can you do a comparison with the F-GT Elite?
I want an F-GT cockpit but don't know which one to get
review done poorly...I have the fanatec v3 pedal set and podium dd2...mounted the reinforcements that they sell you included with the station and it doesn't move a millimeter...you made a video without supports...This station deserves it to coat much, much more... it's simply a bomb
im pretty sure he made this vid before they included the reinforcements
I have a moza r16 on this rig and it handles the torque fine. Just need to use the reinforcement kit that comes with the rig.
It’s a good cockpit but I think I would buy the gtomega cockpit good vid oc!

i have this setup i love it. when i bought mine it came with the strengthen kit included. and installed it instantly. no reason not to.

the only thing i wish it had to upgrade was back adjustment to be more easy.

@@manuzark its some extra arms that u mount in between big spaces that supports it so if lets say there is originally 2 arms holding the steering wheel up there would be 3 to distribute the load across.

I got the money to spend but i don't know that much about rigs.
My only issue with this rig is when i'm racing... It's perfect. When i'm drifting... I have to be VERY careful to not flick my arms too hard downwards as my wheel happens to be perfectly aligned with my nuts... xD I don't actually blame the rig, i blame the amount of space i have that restricts me to its current setup :D xD

How is the leg room and thigh leg width on this rig? Planning for DD Pro GT 8nm and LC Pedal
Its not bad, but its not great either.
There's too much flex on the pedals, and if you install the supports for the flex, then you can't adjust how far it goes back, if you're 6ft + and want the support on things then I suggest just grabbing something like a block of wood and wedging under the pedal plate when you have it where you want.
And, yeah, its extremely fiddly to set up, the triple monitor mount they sell is awful, even with extras they now include on it, so much sag, and to get monitors to line up is a massive chore.
If you get this rig, and you want triples, please buy a standalone monitor mount.
All in all, it is a nice cockpit, for the money its decent, but it definitely could be better.

How would fanatec DD1 base be for this ?
How does this compare to the gttrack? I can afford both, but I want a one and done purchase of a cockpit.
The GT-Track will support those much higher end wheels and pedals. It also has a bigger shifter plate which will support shifters and handbrakes.
The problem with the GT-Track is that it is expensive and at its $900 price tag, it makes more sense to look at other aluminum profile rigs at a similar price point.

I run an FGT with a Fanatec CSL DD, curiously I have lots of knocking side to side when the wheel vibrates, do you get that?
When the wheel vibrates, yes. That was mostly when playing with max ffb though.

It will work with any mass market wheelbase. Including the T248

You find that seat comfortable???? I feel it to be Chinese mass produced junk. Super uncomfortable. This rig in general has so much flex.
IMO the simlab gt1 evo with a used car seat is better bang for your buck.
