I've played too many wave 666 missions as engineer(both willingly and unwillingly), and here's a tip If bots go towards the right side, use the widowmaker, if they go through the left side, use the rescue Ranger.
@@Themaskededitor4 I always set up shop in the right wall with the fence behind the front lines, because I find that, it's way harder to maintain your shop and stay alive on the left side, since that's also where the tanks go, but if the robots go through the left side, to make it easy, I instead separate my sentry to the left side, while the rest of my shop is still in the right, and I can just shoot my sentry with the rescue ranger or take it away whenever it's getting eaten or a sentry buster is about to take it. Since there are so many explosive robots in the level, your sentry's job is basically stay at the back and just pick off any robot your team misses. If they go through the right, I'm near my sentry most of the time, so might as well use the widowmaker for more dps.
I have a few more tips, but apparently, you can't edit a pinned comment, so here they are. Don't wrangle the tanks, especially during the first tank combo with the scouts, you want it to focus on the other bots to secure the bomb. Ignore your stuff getting sapped once the spy tank part starts, it's unlikely that the spies can deliver the bomb anyway, focus of chipping the newer tanks while your team deals with the previous one.

You know I actually wished that the blue team can help join the fight with red against the machines because when I saw the trailer for team fortress 2 mann vs machine it almost felt like a continuation of winglet's story of teams red and blue working together to fight against gray man and his army of robots, but that's just how I felt about it and that's just my own opinion and I mean if anyone else feels the same way then that's alright.

Pro tip: best engie loadout for wave 666 is: Wrench doesn't really matter, I recommend Jag or Stock though Widowmaker: Widowmaker is absurdly OP for melting giant robots, plus if you run out of metal you can just easily get it all back from a couple shots. Plus, you get ammo back from tanks, so it's pretty good for melting tanks (you can just jump on top of the tank in spy tank so you dont get stabbed) Short Circuit: I know, I know: Wrangler is the best. But here me out: Short circuit's right click is just amazing. Since it can destroy projectiles, you can just spam it against soldiers and demomen, and they do nothing. It's a great escape plan, since you can spam it while running away so you don't get killed by rockets and pills. And it's great against groups, since it goes through people and hits multiple targets. Only downside is metal usage, but the widowmaker nullifies that.
Correction: dont use jag as a healer cuz it only heals half the damage so you have to hit 2 times to fully heal a sentry on 1 rocket Same as sappers it deal 3 swings to destroy it And engie uses the building canteen so no need for fast upgrade
I usually use frontier justice, because if my sentry survived as the round is going to round 2, max upgrade the frontier justice, destroy my sentry I got guaranteed solid 35 crits

I played wave 666 today and I was an Engineer with Rescue Ranger, The Wrangler and The Jag, with my team, another engie, 2 Soldiers, a Pyro and a Sniper, we’ve almost lost to a tank, but we gave it all we got and managed to destroy it even with those spies causing trouble to us, rest of the wave were easy enough afterwards
And here we see an engi in a spot that's right at the border of the robot territory but it has friends all of them including him are warriors so they got this under control

3 Days ago when i play mann vs Manchine for first time, i think the lvl 666 are a Infinity Type of the game and the people is this moment play so long time.
Uhm the dispenser was just a glitch and it stopped right away and about the sentry having infinite armor that was another engineer who thought it’s his sentry and just wreck it with his wrench if you look closely

the most hardest part of it is the spy rush with 3 tanks. you need to make the pyro deal with the spy and the rest with the tanks.

Pyro is good in this, they can push the bomb back further because of airblast, so its sort of a trap for the bots to lose progress.

when you have a full team of engies it isnt even mann vs machine anymore it becomes machine vs machine
You should use the pistol when an enemy is far away. The benefit is that it has more rounds and does better damage at farther ranges than the shotgun.

reload speed and attack speed is REALLY important for mvm because your going to be spamming your weapon at the robots and it takes too long to reload
