    Biomedical communications... exists? What, that's so cool! I've always loved art, writing, and science. Had no idea one field combined all three. What are job prospects like?

      @@brendanlazar I realize this is an incredibly dumb question, but what's the difference between BMC and a science writer? From my understanding, science writers may help PIs write journal articles; is BMC more of a public-translating role?

      @@katiek1319 ah! BMC is specific to the university of Toronto. It is originally a biomedical illustration degree but has diversified a bit to be more about general communications on biomedical subjects for different audiences using visual media.
