Get one or two air bag jacks when you put skid plate on, then you will not have to feal with stupid jack handle. Also, when you replace those rubber connections, make sure tank is empty, becaue I doubt there is a shut off valve. Fnally, when you deal with big track spring, get a deep well socket for the nut on the rod that runs through the sping. You will need that to put tension back on.
Wow man I was about to take my pump off and have it rebuild because it dies I prime it runs for ten minutes and loses prime over and over again. My seal is also leaking I'm glad I found your video ima going to do the same thing. I'd be interested in talking to if you would be a huge help let me know if that would be possible
@@sweetrigstv9520 Ya man I'm ordering one today there is so many different variations my first 3 of the Vin is 83j. Did you get your manual from Cat or ebay? I think my pump is bad because it's back feeding oil into the fuel system runs the filter down half way and dies. Thanks
I’m not sure but if you go back to 21 minutes and 51 seconds and look at the seal when you replaced it put yours in there it look like it was upside down. I hope not. keep up the good work I love watching your videos.
Thanks for watching I’m glad you like the videos there are a couple atv videos coming next while I wait on the weather and the seal at 21:51 I might have put it in backwards but the manual says lip should be toward inside of housing the manual also refers to the housing as being behind the cover with the four bolts so I’m not 100% sure and it’s impossible to tell by the pics in the manual but thanks for the heads up and I will keep an eye on it if it starts to leak again I will pull it back apart and do an update on the video but so far I have run it multiple times with no issues
You are correct if I thought the old ones were failing because it was out of spec I would have figured a way to check it but it had to be checked on two planes and I don’t have the proper tools to do so the old ones are more than likely 45 years old and just needed replaced since the engine and trans hasn’t been changed or removed in anyway so I will take the chance and just run it thanks for watching
Great video.. Effort to setup for us is amazing.

@@sweetrigstv9520 great I’m glad you had no issues sorry I just didn’t want nothing bad to happen
Those flex drive pucks should be checked with a dial gauge to check runout, they won't last long at all if the balance isn't right.
